I do wonder just how quickly they are driving on the snow roads. We have conditions like those here regularly. The only thing keeping my bone stock except tires and dampers 1990 wagon from doing the 80km/h speed limit is the other people on the road with vehicles less capable than my 612,000 km 240 wagon. When driving on gravel or through mud or snow, the motto is "In throttle we trust". For a live axle car, the back end is amazingly planted and controllable. When the from end starts to wash out, add throttle and steer through that way. I almost always works.
