Agreed. I have both the 58 Blue and the Heritage Blue/Black. 58 is literally the perfect size watch for most wrists. Couldn't disagree more with the hate on the bracelet in this video...
I have the 58 now for 3 years, I still wear it more than my Rolex. Very versatile, under the radar and 39mm is very comfortable. I’ve worn it everywhere, no problems at all and it’s very accurate too. Mine runs about 0 to +1 sec a day. The perfect go anywhere do anything watch of my collection!
I love this watch and its proportions and modern take on a vintage inspired diver. My favorite black bay. That blue is fantastic and especially on the aluminum bezel. The faux rivets were annoying until the watch is on wrist and they just disappear. I don’t even think about them anymore. The uncle straps half links helped out too. Just waiting for the adjustable clasp or maybe I’ll just get the steel reef adjustable link.
The 58 is one of those watches that just works. I even like the riveted bracelet making it different from the more vcommon oyster style. I love mine and hope you’ll have a companion for life.
I saw this watch today for the first time. I went to try on a different model but fell for this one. The blue is really nice in person, lighter than I thought. I agree with what you said about the aluminium bezel insert, it suits it very well. I am saving my pennies!
Yup, I've had the BB 58 Blue for a couple of years...finally got around to ordering some leather straps to change things up - still looks amazing and it's my favourite piece (but eyeballing that BB '54). Great vid!
Congrats! Love BB58 Blue. Near perfect watch. Tough, GADA watch that’s very accurate and flys under the radar for travel anywhere. Strap monster too. I have two other steel bracelet watches so I keep BB on a Bark and Jack NATO or a Wristbuddy rubber strap most of the time.
Thanks for the video. Nice one. However, that thing you do with the volume of the background music, don't continue with that. I think you may lose views because of it.
I felt the same way too. Fortunately, I’m finding a good fit with the current clasp. I’m not sure why they’re neglecting this line and not updating the clasp…
No big deal! I figured out that I like a more polished finished watch than a brushed finish…overall the quality of the watch was great, it was comfortable, I put a uncle Seiko half link in to get the right fit. Sold it for what I paid for it.
because absolutely everyone does exactly that... the appeal of Rolex imho ist quite a bit diminished by their abundance on peoples wrists... Id much rather have something that shows a conscient purchase of something I put interest and research into.
I have the BB58 gilt and looks and wears completely different from the Submariner. I love my Sub with its more pronounced bezel and dial, it’s just has more presence. I also love my BB58 for its more subdued attributes and smaller wearing size. They really are very different watches.
It’s a size thing for me. I have a 1655 and a 16520 which fit my wrist perfectly. I wanted a more modern dive watch to bang around a bit on vacation and day to day. I’ve owned both iterations of the modern ceramic Subs and felt they were just too heavy and bulky. Landed on the BB58 and it’s near perfect. Love that its a better strap monster than the subs too. If you are obsessed with owning a Sub because you think it’s the “real deal,” then the BB will never scratch that itch. The Tudor was the best option of any dive watch for my wrist and needs.
The Black Bay is already a classic in any size.

Looks insane especially with the blue shirt! I’ve heard the ranger bracelet is an excellent upgrade

I’m excited for steel reef products, especially their Grand Seiko. Looking forward to those.
I’m looking at the steel reef links for this BB58 and Explorer 114270. Also excited for the GS link.

I initially wanted the Ranger bracelet so I could get the t-fit clasp and the removal of the rivets but now I prefer the stock bracelet.
@@BrokeWatchFanaticif you keep the stock end links, the 54 bracelet fits the 58 😊
Love this watch hopping to get this April my first luxury watch enjoyed the video

You won’t regret it!

Thanks! I have mine on the crown and buckle strap but I think it’s best on the bracelet.

Thank you! It’s definitely a great all rounder.
What would be a great second hand price for it as we are approaching 2025? Full set all papers good condition one
I’d say $2400-$2600.

Good work, keep it up, I am sure you will have many more views /likes etc to come
Thanks! 🙏
The blue one is my fav. My go to. Like it more than my sub, gmt and speedy
It’s a great watch man, congrats enjoy the watch. Good investment .58 is perfect and plus 39 mm. 👍👍up.
Thanks! Love the size 👍
Very nice video review
Still my grail... hoping to pick it up this year as well! A little late, but congrats nevertheless! 😊
Thank you! I still have it!
Great tip about the half link. Nice watch 👍
Glad it was helpful!
I love my BB58 in Blue.
Great watch for the $! Keep up the great work man.
I appreciate it, thanks!
I love my blue and my black 58’s. Just wish they had a date window @ 6 o’clock position. I must go to look for the date every time I wear one of them.
Same here…
Yes of course, when you can get one for 40% discount with warranty left 😊
Have the same watch. It’s a great watch. Can’t go wrong with any Tudor. Rolex little brother, oh well.
Thanks for the video. Nice one. However, that thing you do with the volume of the background music, don't continue with that. I think you may lose views because of it.
Yeah, I was wondering that. I don’t take long enough breaks to make good use of that feature. Thanks 🙏
Instant classic!
A lot of people refer to Tudor as a poor man’s Rolex this is not the case
That’s the definition of a watch snob. They’re not good for the watch community.
Nice watch….though Tudor does not really do anything for me.
That’s fair!
after the hype is perfect time to buy,, hope to get a used one around 2K
In great condition with bracelet, probably around $2500-$2600. Good luck!
Needs on the fly clasp before I consider it.
I felt the same way too. Fortunately, I’m finding a good fit with the current clasp. I’m not sure why they’re neglecting this line and not updating the clasp…
Very much a hype piece, I had a BB58 for about 2 months, sold it cause it’s just meh. It’s like driving a Honda, meh.
Too bad it didn’t work out!
No big deal! I figured out that I like a more polished finished watch than a brushed finish…overall the quality of the watch was great, it was comfortable, I put a uncle Seiko half link in to get the right fit. Sold it for what I paid for it.
Never understood the appeal of the black bay. It’s very derivative of the submariner so why not just buy “the real deal” ?

The Sub still wears a bit chunky whereas the BB58 is more true to the smaller, vintage Subs.
