    just found your channel. i like the simple instructions you were giving. simple for beginners. people are complaining about the cost of equipment but who said photography was cheap? we Filipinos always find ways around challenges so maybe find used equipment or shoot outside and have a friend hold the reflector.

    This is such a wonderful video. Detailed, simple, practical, and step by step. I really didn't mind the length because it was so informative. Pls also include the close up how u changed camera and trigger settings in the end and change in the live view when the student was using the camera. I understand that it's not part of the tutorial, but it would help us beginners learn more. Much thanks again.

    Great tips on using the Bowens mount with the speedlight. I recently received a flash bracket with a cold shoe mount which Ive used once so far. Maybe I should upgrade to a Bowens for extra safety of my equipment.

      Thanks, you can ask your local photography shops, but for us here in the philippines an entire setup can be purchased for about 200USD

    In most similar tutorials the backdrop is white and you get the shadows - how do you prevent the shadows? I am disappointed that this video didn't use a white background or mention it!

    I have noticed that you ask your guest a couple of times if he is familiar about some equipment you are using. From the start of your video you said your guest is a newbie and know nothing about flash photography.

      @@JiggieAlejandrino im just an amature photographer focusing on my son as a subject. Indoors most likely i need to shoot at 150+ if he's moving but i don't want to raise iso make it grainy. So i was thinking getting a speed light to have a 4th option to compensate the other 3.
