These are good just as is, but since they have became a regular at our household, I turned them into keto scones by adding a tablespoon of alulosa and a half a spoon of apple cider vinegar to create a bigger reaction from the baking powder. Lemon zest, blueberries in and Yay! Having them with kefir yoghurt in the morning they make for a wholesome breakfast. Thank you so much for this recipe!

I like this recipe because it only has one egg and minimal butter. Most keto bread recipes require 6-8 eggs and come out too eggy ! Sour cream always makes things richer and moist too. They look good...will have to try these babies. Thanks!

Love a good straight to the point video. I see complaints about salt, good biscuits are supposed to be salty bc they’re usually eaten with a sweet condiment like syrup, honey or jelly. Can’t wait to try these..

Keto diets need salt and this seems like a yummy way to get it. Also biscuit dough with little chunks of butter is a good thing.

I've been trying to find a keto biscuit recipe that didn't have 4-6 eggs (I detest eggs) and a stick of butter. I wanted something I could eat on a regular basis without it being too rich. This recipe is totally up my alley. I can't wait to try it. Thanks for posting this. 👍🏻😀

Just a bit of constructive criticism, so fans, don't come "at" me... I've taken public speaking classes and one thing I've notice during the first 3 min, was how many times you said "basically". It ended up being distracting. So I went back... yes, I went back and did a tally. You said "basically 23 time during the duration of your video. Now I'm sure I'm going to get backlash "oh what you have no life" or something along those lines. Well to them I say "don't better yourself then". Your filming style and smooth music is wonderful. You are articulate and this tid bit is only meant to help, if you haven't heard this already. I do thank you for the recipie. Be Blessed and always encouraged!

Your biscuits look like Red Lobsters Cheddar Bay biscuits without the cheddar. Also, your recipe calls for the opposite compared to the “Norm.” Most use cold butter and mix in encouraging the lumps. Most use more than one egg and they use the white only with variations to lightly frothing the white with little foam to super whipped frothing light and fluffy looking like cotton candy or a beautiful white cloud ☁️. You were entertaining watching you prepare your biscuits. 😊

I made the mistake of just following the video. I didn't look at the comments or see the edit. I thought it was a lot of salt... This would have been perfect recipe if I saw the edit about the salt. I hate that I had to waste all those ingredients. I will try this again.

    • @LoverofAllThingsGood

Sour cream replaces milk or buttermilk used in most biscuit recipes. I believe it helps the structure be moist and not crumble. It helps the flavor too. I know my Husband doesn't like sour cream. But, he'll eat my biscuits not knowing it's in there. To substitute, use your milk of choice. May need to add a slight bit more Almond Flour if too wet. Some recipes call for a little grated cheese... many recipe choices to try. 😋

Hmmmm....if you live in the southeast, the Food Lion store brand of sour cream is the closest I’ve ever had to freshly made stuff...it’s just amazing!! Also...the brand has superior ice cream, half and half and whipping cream.....I don’t know why their dairy is sooooo goood..but it is to die for. AND around Thanksgiving they make a limited edition Peppermint whipped cream..omg...just the best to top off keto coffee!!

Lafreda Sias or use unsalted butter, use less salt too. 1/4 tsp. Also blend dry ingredients first before adding wet in ingredients. Another trick is to us frozen butter, grate the amount you need. Mix into the dry ingredients to create a mealy mixture, then add wet ingredients.

Looks like a oatmeal-ly dough? Looks like buttery potatoes to me. Then you double down and says it looks like batter-ie dough, lol. Batter looks more liquid, not be able to stand up and salute. In case your looking for a name what you put on your cookie sheet, try a splatter! By the way, why do you feel it necessary to prove the cup measurement by showing it printed the handle? It did look surprising-ly good after all the though I must say!
