I did a bit of research online to see if could find a cricket pipe like yours. I did find one that’s in a museum in Australia. The picture only shows the one side but the description says the other side has a rower and an oar. Maybe it’s the same.
Thanks for another great episode. Love those little glass animals.
Wow thank you so much that is really helpful :)
I was wondering if the other side was worn down and depicted a player swinging out for a shot, the two shapes at the bottom could be his pads? But until they publish the other side at the museum, we shall never know
Society needs more families like yours who share an obvious love and respect for each other and history..Blessings from Maryville, Tennessee USA
Totally agree

I always get a special joy watching you and the Northern mudlarks as a Mother-daughter team. I would have given anything to have done this with my Mum. She passed at 94 and we crafted together on projects right up until the end of her wonderful creative life. She was also a dollmaker and when you two started your dump dolls I nearly cried how she would have loved to do that as she would do anything to rescue a toy and give it new life. I am an artist and spend quite a lot of time making assemblages of found objects as my 'happy place' and I confess I do so envy your wonderful dumps and such. Small Australian bush towns don't yield such rich pickings, but I do so share your joy when you find your wonderful treasures. Thank you so much. Jennifer Powell
Thank you so much we loved hearing about your mother, a kindred soul :) x
A lovely last adventure at your favourite dump - and some fantastic finds! It's sad but we just know you will find a new place to go! So nice to see your Czech glass charm collection growing and love your blue ceramic marble, Fleur! Love and luck, Gail & Alex xx
Just waiting for lockdown to lessen more so we can go exploring again, really tired of it now haha :) x
Every headless tin soldier. I think of the lyrics heads will roll or off with their heads. I love the music.
Those heads you found of different sizes look like cupie doll heads. The way the hair goes up into a wisp, looks like a cupie doll head. The glass animal miniatures are so cute! I hope your able to go back and find more treasures at your dump before the tractors and dump trucks take over!! As always....a real joy watching you! ❤️❤️❤️
I think you are right :)
The last of the dump, I'm surpised you weren't out there with torches overnight! The cricket pipe was lovely, obviously a dying penguin with a spoon on the reverse. My best bit was Kate, "I think she has an eye patch on.....No, it's crud." Well done on such great finds lovely ladies.
Thank you so much :)
I love 💘 the little rabbit 🐇 you found, you deserve that little rabbit, but now you have to give it a name, I'm very proud of you and happy for you 💖 God bless you both...
I can't stop watching this show it's like a treasure hunt WOW 😳
The rabbit is beautiful Kate. A just reward for your persistence. You two bring a lot of joy to the two of us. Keep the faith and the spirit. Sue and Ian, Australia
Thank you so much!
We are from Australia too, and enjoy watching these videos. We don't have instagram so hope you can do a short video of your grouped treasures.
Keep the wonderful memories in your hearts! Everyone spend as much time with your mothers and fathers. Get to know their dreams and beliefs. Learn about your family history. Cherish them!
Way to go Oscar 1st bottle. Love your finds 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩💖💖
I still can’t believe what they did to that dump/orchard, but maybe it will turn into a field of dreams. That poor robin loosing it’s home, im devastated and hate when people clear old land like that. Anyway awesome finds guys, glad Oscar got to do a bottle removal, well done hon. Chins up ladies, you still have other places to go and keep an eye out for when they plough the field. Much love and blessings and take care and stay safe and well, all of you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you fingers crossed we can find a new magical dump! :)
I cant get over how much prettier and cuter your little fat Robin's are than ours in U.S.! Too cute! Great hunt and congrats on all the cool finds!
He was very cute! Yours are striking though!
I was thinking the exact same thing while watching this video, Jenny.
American 'robins' are actually thrushes. When the colonists from England came to the New World, they used the same names as the animals they knew and matched them as closely as they could to the new animals they found.
Spring is a joy ! Loved the dolls and mudlark . Anne from Massachusetts , USA .
Ah😌, I'm so glad you gave us a last glimpse of your good luck " mudlarking birdie"🥰. Perhaps he/she helped you find your orangie/ yellow glass rabbit, Miss Kate 🤔? That way you guys can always remember the good luck and marvelous finds he/she helped you discover. The color reminds me of the birdie's breast feathers.
Kate has made a doll based on the bird in this weeks video :)
Now Sunny has a friend! A great kitty find. Hugs to Sunny....love love love you Sunny!
I've never seen anyone pull out a whole codd bottle. Congratulations on that and all your finds, and for rescuing all the things you have.
Thank you Phyllis! I was so giddy to find a complete one!
Aww that rabbit was a dream find! Your collection of Czech cracker charms is so lovely - funny, we have been adding to ours via ebay too - they are irresistible!! Glad you could salvage a few more treasures from the orchard :) Congrats on 9K subs!!!! Take care, Nicole & Craig
We thought you would like him! I was so excited when I found my old one again, we are keeping an eye out for them, but they can go for quite a lot of money, haha
We had some good luck this time, thank you so much!
Even the little ladybug is sad the dump is gone...🐞
He did look a little sad, but luckily he can thrive in the nature reserve near by
Not to mention that poor bird
What a wonderful day of finds you both had at the dump. I loved them all but that Czech cracker charm took the show ....now I want one ! Thanks ladies, stay well always. ~ Karyn 🌼
The bird!!!!! Sooo lovely ☺️
chubby little orange-belly birdie is gorgeous!
Those little doll heads look like Telly Tubbies.
:) :):)
A yellow rabbit for Kate. How perfect. I love how much u guys r being blessed w/ excellent finds. Oh my gosh. So many wonderful finds. God bless u guys.
It really was a perfect find for me! 😍 We are having great luck recently, thank you!
The glass animals are adorable!
Looking at that soil, I can see why the apple trees were so full of fruit! That is some real rich soil. You should sift some out and take it home for your garden. The cat is wearing a Kimono of some kind. Its a Japanese type gown with a sash. The vase with the phrase "Whose afraid" is an take off on Don Quote fighting the windmills.
Thank you for the information that really helps :)
So marvelous! I love the cod bottles. You should try an fix the bunny, maybe with resin. It was good to see Sunny cat again . Hug him for me.🥰🥰🥰🥰
sweet little rabbit, beautiful color.
The crystal chandelier pieces would make excellent Christmas tree icicles.
Maybe the rabbit needs a new gold leaf ear? Great finds!
That little amber bunny is adorable, I wish there were such prizes in cracker jacks now! Kate's favorite blue bead is such a glorious teal, very nice... I am sad about the dump, but I am glad you got in there one last time.
Love the video. The bird was so cute, colorful. It is shame, about the dump. Kind of funny to be sad about a dump, but such treasure!
Thank you Trudie!
I would love if when you took pictures of your collections, have a few made into puzzles. They would be so fun to put them back together again. I look forward each week to your videos. I wish you did more. I know they are so much work but to many of us you guys are like extended family members. I call your family and the Northern mudlarks my UK family mudders.
Thank you so much! We would love to make more but as you say the films take awhile to put together. Maybe one day in the future we will have more time to make more :)
Your rabbit made me think of the velveteen rabbit.
I will miss seeing you go to the dump for finds as I know you will miss going. Maybe you will find a new place soon. When one of you gets excited about a find, I get excited as well. Stay safe and well. :)
Wonderful video.. I thank the Lord for you. You bless everyone thatchances upon your channel. Bless you.
That blue bead is the color I want to paint my bed(first one you showed)!
SFBJ doll company started in 1889 when a group of well known doll makers banded together to keep their industry alive. I think because German makers had found cheaper methods of production and were overtaking France as the most popular producers.
Their dolls are quite popular amongst collectors today. You will see how beautiful they often were if you do an internet search. My mother, now 99, had two dollscby that company in the late 1920s.
Fantastic finds!, my fav is the Rabbit. Sorry your Dump hunts are over.
The color of the rabbit is called "honey amber." Great job on the codd's!!! Congratulations! Tony.
Oooh! Honey amber is a wonderful name! Thank you Tony!
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers - You betcha by golly wow! Lol! Tony.
I had two of the glass charms like those that I used for my Ginny dolls in the sixties. So glad I could see them again though you. Barb
Go Oscar good find!!!! 👍👍
So sad for the loss of the fantastic dump. 😢 You girls make every video fun and happy! Thank you, I enjoy watching so very much!
Thanks for watching!
"Oh, thank you, Dump!" Your joy is contagious and I could watch you finding bucket list items all day long. Today was terrible, until you found your lucky rabbit! xoxoxo
Those were lovely finds. And congrats to Kate on the bucket list cod bottle(s - that second one should count too!) and Czech glass rabbit. Congrats to Oscar on his bottle extraction!
I enjoy hearing your excitement when you find something that you love. Which is pretty much everything ❤️
Your dollars one is smiling one sad but they are all adorable
Amazed how everyday bottles were made so lovely.
What a beautiful bird
Great cod bottle finds Kate!!!
a beautiful video. the pointy heads in white remind me of something from my Mother's childhood, 1920s and 30s u.s......wish i could remember more
OMG the codd’s... there just Fabulous
Codds*
Thank you Adam :)
So.e of the doll heads would be so cute made into necklaces.
It’s sad to see natural areas being taken for development. I live in Arkansas USA and we’re fairly lucky to have lots of federal and state forests around us in this part. Back home in Upstate NY my friends are fighting a 200 acre development on farm land that is on the National register of historic places and has an American Indian longhouse remnants along a river that’s named for the Indians that lived there. I hope you can find a new place to treasure hunt. I know here most homes had their own little dump. Maybe you can find a few locals that will allow you to explore their property.
Thank you for watching Terri, that is so horrible, and it’s happening more and more, fingers crossed we can find a new spot, and that no more areas are destroyed
Nice rabbit ; could hear your joy at finding him ; )
Kate was very excited! :)
Thank God for young eyes
Such pretty blue beads ! Am so sad for you tat the bottle dump is no more xx
Those little imp faces!!! 🥰♥️😍
Beautiful video, thank you.☮️🇨🇦
Dump you will be missed😢
Just watched the round-up. Congratulations on your two bucket listers! The rabbit and the coddy! Great job, ladies! And Oscar! And Sunnycat! Lol! Tony.
Oh would love to see you repair the rabbit like Find&Create did his bottles!
You’re cricket pipe looks like it has a cricket player sliding into base and throwing the bat as he does.
You have the best imagination. I still see blobs!
The metal cat is wearing a kimono
So many fun finds!
So sad that the dump is gone. Just wanted to say that I love to see the hand find. I like to collect hands that I find to be special. Glass hands are always a favorite of mine.
I really like them too! :)
Very sad for you for losing your dump area may you do find another one hopefully just as good
Wonderful to see your robin has grown,he is beautiful, hope he can find a new home. Wonderful cod bottle and rabbit. You really are the most delightful pair, not excluding the inimitable Oscar of course. Keep safe.
Thank you so much that means a lot x
Could the lead cat you found be a Japanese or China type cat and it's outfit was possibly a Kimono? I love some of the treasures you found. My favourite is definitely the glass rabbit.
Congratulations on the whole cod bottle! Amazing! I like everything you two found 💕
Happy Mother's Day Fleur and Mum. Nothing like a good round up with friends to cure a cold.
:) :) :)
Aw, I don't know how I can be heartbroken over a place I have never been and two people that I have never met, and still I am very sad for you. Its like the dump pushed up its best finds for you to discover at the end. So sad, but soon this pandemic will be over and I know you will be out and about and find someplace as magical as your dump, although I am sure it will always hold a special place in your hearts.
We really hope we can find somewhere as special! :)
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers I have no doubt
A lovely last journey through the dump, so poignant, especially as the dump was so generous to you. Take care and stay safe..
I used to call my clay marbles in the 70's eggies. Me and my school friends would collect all sorts of different ones also when i saw your cracker charms i remembered i had one and i just found it after a seach, i have a light blue polar bear still with collar and a white bead but he has lost a paw thanks for the info i never knew what i had just brought it in brick a brac shop 30 years ago
Wow that is great, look after him he sounds really special :)
Wonderful finds and ❤️ your kitty watching the hail storm!
Those white heads is much alike Teletubbies from a cartoon-movie some years ago.
They do look very tellytubby like
I thought this too 😁
Lovely video but so sad for you losing such a wonderful place. I love the rabbit and the Codd bottles, what an amazing parting gift! 😍 x
Thanks so much Amanda :)
So sad about the loss of a great digging sight. Hoping y’all will find an even better one! Love watching y’all’s videos.
Lovely finds and welldone Oscar on your first extraction xx
The cat in a dress reminds me of the Austrian Bronze figures that are dressed as people. They are quite collectable and valuable. Thanks for sharing, so happy that you had such great finds! Condratulations on your numbers! That is great news!❤
I will have to look in to that! :)
Those finds are simply awesome and I really mean that with all my heart and soul. Hearty congratulations! You did scare me when you shook the Codd bottle as I thought that you might damage it with the marble bouncing around the neck lol. But, all is well and you have two very beautiful bottles to display. Very sad to see that access is no longer possible sob sob sob. Many thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!

Hooray! The rabbit is so adorable! I look forward to your craft videos and I am going to Instagram now to make sure I follow you. Happy Mother’s Day!💐
Thank you so much! :)
Beautiful finds...all of the faces have such different characteristics. Thank you for sharing!
Just rewatched 💓 the Czechoslovakian glass animals
That was wonderful. Its a shame about the dump. If it goes over to cultivation perhaps you'll be able to go treasure hunting there again.
Hello Lovelies
I think you should rename that place "The Animals Dump."
You both are amazing people. Keep creating these great videos. Wonderful knowledge you give us
Another great video you always find great stuff roll on spring
Thank you Susan!
I think that little metal cat is wearing a kimono.
The bag seal could be used maybe as an abstract painting for the doll's house
