  • This episode focuses on Rudolf Steiner's Anthroposophy, particularly his interpretation of the Christ Impulse and its implications for human spiritual evolution. It explores beyond conventional religious thought, delving into Steiner's redefinition of spiritual development and our collective and individual evolution. The discussion will address the nature of evil, the roles of Luciferian and ahrimanic forces, and how Steiner's blend of mysticism and rationality offers insights into deeper truths.

☀Great stuff! You mentioned Steiner's focus on the importance of Golgotha -- believing Christ's blood slowly seeped through the earth awakening God The Mother (essentially) and slowly awakening the divine feminine and bringing it back up to us. Fun stuff, always love Steiner, and indeed he would see AI, modified farming and the metaverse as a an ahrimanic death trap tempting us away from the Sun/Son. More Steiner in the future, I hope, his mystery plays are fun, especially as both Ahriman and Lucifer appear as the Devil but in different ways.

Yep. Lucifer is overly spiritual to the point of denying/neglecting the physical. Ahriman is the opposite. He perfectly fits the stereotype of the rise of the soulless machines.

Rudolf Steiner is tremendously intriguing, and I personally think, just from various surface level glimpses of his content, even moreso in his Anthroposophy than, in my opinion so far, Theosophy in general! His unexpected thoughts on Christ, conceptualization of Ahriman is endlessly fascinating along with his kind of socio engineering social philosophy! In short. I know little of Steiner even as his content hums steadily in the background!

I suspect most of us are using our phones to watch you, there the bass isnt recognizable. However when using speakers or TVs, it can get rather boomy and unpleasant. I hate to see stuff like that undermine great and valuable information. I also believe its crucial for the channels growth, the less eager become even less eager when their ears hurt.

☀️Great lecture Dr. Puca. It's fascinating to realize how the Christ impulse is quite similar to the Luciferian in terms of praxis and self-awareness of the inner conscious. Even though Lucifer/Ahriman are both deific mask of an Adversarial aspect of divinity, is important to lift the veil from dogmatic/religious biases, and see through the core aspect of spiritual development. Thank you so much for this enlightened symposium.😊

Sometimes when your describing these guys you almost seem to be giggling under your breath, im kind of chuckling, too.
OMG, what a difference 100 years makes. The critical problem here is we see Eastern and Western esotericisms as independent development. As one person said the origin of western civilization is in the east, and I woukd attach to that the origin of much of eastern neolithic is in the west.
To begin with we come out of the Younger dryas with a number of Eastern european, Anatolian and Near eastern cultures that already manifesting low level gods and sprites, and there is a diverse spectrum of representative art from ancestral worship, nature worship, mother earth figurines. The earliest I would stipulate is the Natufian/Jericho but the Anatolian sites progress rapidly. The first essence of a kind of divine we are used to is in Catalhoyuk around 9500 years ago amd coincides with cattle domestication. This culture spread down into the tigris river watershed and into the Zagros mountains by 8500 and into the Iranian plateau. This then expand in the tigris and moved into Eridu- Ubaid phase, which is the roots of all western belief. The books of the bible are littered with direct and indirect references to the mesopotamian gods, and unearthing these older cultures lends more support for these connections. In as much as we once believed that the gods in the OT were local gods, we find Anath was from Anah, Iraq. Dagan was from Hit, Iraq. El is derived from the Uruk. Yahu is derived from Eridu. Asherah appears to be a local representation. Astarte is also from Uruk. Yam, Moot, Gad and Hadad are local representations, but they hold less status in the early texts.
But then we need to deal with IVC culture, its derived from copper age Quetta culture that originated from the Iranian plateau. And IVC was eventually succeeded by the Vedic culture. So where does vedic culture come from. There is no clear evidence of vedic culture in the indus watershed before 1600 BCE, but there is +/- from the oeriod between 1500 and 1800 BCE. The Indoaryan culture prior to this was located from the remnant of BMAC (Bactria Margina Archaeological complex) along the Oxus river in central asia/Afganistan. This civilization is linked to the central iranian neolithic farmers and traders. Prior to the Indoeuropeans were located in the pontic steppe. We should consider this region to be the northern flanks of a circumcaucasus culture that originated with Maycopt/Kura-Araxus culture that abutts the tigris watershed from about 3800 BCE. So this important tigris watershed ties together all but the most eastern developing regions.
Within the watershed, the Ubaid and Uruk cultures are still maintaining close links with their origins through processing sites like Tell Shemshara (N. Zagros). Zoroastrianism itself seems to stem from the Yaz I/II that appear at the demise of BMAC, with evidence that BMAC gradually became more Indoeuropean before its demise. BMAC never, unfortunately developed a written language. It seems likely though that the kassite rulers of Babylon iriginated from these regions.
So were does Eastern religion end and western religion begin. A better question is how did beliefs of the northern flanking region of mesopotamia both absorb ideas (e.g. sky god -father diety - unitary divine). Anu for instance was a uniter, the function of Uruk system was to create an invironment conducive to trade. We can thing about western gods as extension of their earliest eastern counterparts . . .Aprhodite - Inanna; Cybele - Ku'baba, Dionysis - the kura-Araxes god of winemaking. While Yahweh is a desert god, the desert gods are often pairings of other gods, Yahu appears to originate from a circuitous path from Eridu. And so Yahweh represents east and south. The Avestan religion represents two aspects of eastern divergence, BMAC/IVC development from central Iranian farmers and the influx of northern derivative of protoindoeuropeans. Whereas many aspects of western religion developed from precedences in the west, The etruscan and Basque cukture represents early neolithic farmers that spread through the region from the east, Etruscan culture itself appears to be a blending between Aegean/Anatolian and substrate cultures of Italy. On the other edge is substrate Aegean/Cretan/Minoan culture and its female goddeses and also its close ties to Egypt which strongly influenced the development of Greek religion and mysticism.
And so that brings us to mysticism and where did it develop. Lee Berger has published a controversial study of S. African quasi human Naledi in which he infers that cave use was for mystical purposes. Naledi has a brain size about 1/3 the size of humans. Within the literature the first kind of association with mysticism that we can track through later genre are the sage-cult of Enki, legendary half-fish half men sages that came either from the meditteranean or the red sea (IOW, sort of like desert mystics, they come from far off places). This story , the Adapa-myths, is mirrored in the similarly named story of Jonah. Its a mystic trope. And so we also see the development of astrology in Babylon, and dream interpretation notable in the bible. While its likely that Zoroastrinism dates back to Yaz II culture, they had no writing. Zoroastrianism appears to be poorly defined before the Persian period, with Mithrais belief loosely associated at this time. Definition of Zoroastrianism increases in the 3rd and 4th century, and so Zoroastrian belief appears to be distilling in bothe mesopotamian and hellenistic culture into a form we recognize. Dying and Rising god beliefs can be clearly linked back to mesopotamia. Again, is the bible independent from these, for which god are women crying in Ezekial? Ezekial is having a vision on the side of a canal near larsa, about 20-30km from Dumuzi's home town of Bad Tibera. In fact Ezekial vision of heaven reflects alot of Mesopotamian ideas.
Is the bible eastern or western? Jerusalem sits about 200 km from Egypt and the traditional cultures of the delta, it Urushalim, was a vassal of Egypt in the Amarna period. Jerusalem is a couple thousand kilometers as the donkey walks from Eridu and Uruk. And yet we have all these connections in the bible to stories about the gods of Uruk and Eridu. The name Urushalim, city of shalim, shalim is the mythical son of El,
    god'
ʼĒl[needs IPA] (also 'Il, Ugaritic: 𐎛𐎍 ʾīlu; Phoenician: 𐤀𐤋 ʾīl; Hebrew: אֵל ʾēl; Syriac: ܐܺܝܠ ʾīyl; Arabic: إل ʾil or إله ʾilāh[clarification needed]; cognate to Akkadian: 𒀭, romanized: ilu) is a Northwest Semitic word meaning 'god' or 'deity', or referring (as a proper name) to any one of multiple major ancient Near Eastern deities. .......Specific deities known as 'El, 'Al or 'Il include the supreme god of the ancient Canaanite religion and the supreme god of East Semitic speakers in Early Dynastic Period of Mesopotamia. ""The Egyptian god Ptah is given the title ḏū gitti 'Lord of Gath' in a prism from Tel Lachish which has on its opposite face the name of Amenhotep II (c. 1435 - c. 1420 BCE). The title ḏū gitti is also found in Serābitṭ text 353. Cross (1973, p. 19) points out that Ptah is often called the Lord (or one) of eternity and thinks it may be this identification of ʼĒl with Ptah that lead to the epithet 'olam 'eternal' being applied to ʼĒl so early and so consistently.""Anu (Akkadian: 𒀭𒀭 ANU, from 𒀭 an "Sky", "Heaven") or Anum, originally An (Sumerian: 𒀭 An), was the divine personification of the sky, king of the gods, and ancestor of many of the deities in ancient Mesopotamian religion. He was regarded as a source of both divine and human kingship, and opens the enumerations of deities in many Mesopotamian texts."
Whereas in Canaan this version of An differs in having more enlil like qualities, and the canaanite/hebrew El was the bull of the heavens, wheras Anu owned the bull of the heavens. El is also the namesake of Bethel. And we know El and Asherah were worshipped at bethel because Yosiah purged her almond tree (Luz) and alters to El at Bethel, which oddly was outside of Judea at the time.
As mentioned important early Israelite gods were Anath, who remained high even into the 3rd century BCE Egypt (Elephantine Jahwism). Anah probably stems from a middle Euohratean trader/farming culture of mixed Amorite/remnant Samarah culture. An important travel point for Euphratean copper traders. It was later part of Suhum kingdom. Asherah was the goddess linked to El by canaanites, prior to the Marian invasion she was probably linked to Dagan, however Dagan is another Euphratean fertility god. Ishtar may have also been a western goddess associated with Attar, which is kind of a desert god. There are indirect references to Ishtar in the bible, the book of Ester appears to be a lift.
The city of Davids origin is Beth Lahmi as described by the Egyptians, The house of the guardian of Enki (Ia in Eblaite Cunieform and Yahu in Hebrew), Sanitized to Bethlehem. And so Yahu sppears to have been the early god of Yehudah.
I mean you do find stories about Yam, Mot and Hadad, sanitized, in psalms and proverbs, but it appears the the high god culture of the bible when it points, points Eastward.

I'm curious to know why you avoid any makeup on your nose while doing your eyes and lips so carefully. There has got to be something you can do to make your nose equally creepy and disturbing in appearance. This is not criticism, rather encouragement.
