My grandma used to sing this song to us (grandkids) when I was a kid. It always cracked us up. She died 20 years ago. I still think of her every time I hear it. She was the best.

my grandma died on January 9, 2019 at the age of 87
Same. My paternal grandma sadly passed away this year due to pancreatic cancer. My birthday is coming up this month and she always made the best chocolate cheesecakes. So this year, I’ll have a chocolate cheesecake in her memory.

2. I'm pretty sure she couldn't have left the house that late for Santa and his reindeer to run her over. I'm guessing she left between 6 and 9 PM. Plus they're flying reindeer. So unless they were flying very low, or she was very tall, they wouldn't be able to hit her.

In my town years ago the DJ at radio station got a call from someone complaining about the song so the DJ played the song non stop for most of the day 😂

I can hear this staticiking out of of my fathers old speakers in the kitchen. The kitchen is filled with cigarette smoke and empty Budweiser cans. The light from the Christmas tree and sounds of the bubblers on the tree. The windows frosted over from the cold outside and the warmth inside. I hurt to go back to my childhood if even for only a few minutes.
My grandmother died August 2012. We all got together for Christmas after she passed. Us grandkids sang this in memory of her lol

personally it always reminds me of a maths exam I had in 12th grade during Christmas season. I discovered the song the day before and couldn’t stop thinking about it during the exam.
