  • Did you know that you can apply heat transfer foil to sublimation? This method can be used on dark colors and even cotton! However, you can still add gorgeous foil accents to your polyester sublimation blanks. The product is called Forever Subli-Finishing Foil and you use it in combination with Forever Subli-Light and Forever Hot Stamping Foil. I really think you are going to love the way this product looks on your shirts and it gives you another option for those dark colors and cotton as far as using your sublimation printer. There are several steps to this product so be sure to follow along with the video.

    For cotton items in your opinion (if you have a cutter like a Cricut Maker) better to use foil HTV or try this? Thanks always for your very informative videos. x

      You can definitely try it both ways. My thoughts are that this product would not require weeding so may be quicker and easier in the long run.

    Hi Angie! Thank you for all your videos,. You’ve taught me a lot. It seems like Really bad press marks on those shirts. I don’t think at this point that it would be worth all the trouble. Maybe sometime in the future.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому +2

      So press marks are really a function of what the shirt is made out of. The grey shirt had a large polyester content making it more prone to marks where the black bag was all cotton and didn't have the same issue.

    Hi Angie, Thanks again for all your wonderful videos. Where are you buying your Forever products these days while Conde is transitioning? US Cutter is out of most of the colored foil. Or is there a better foil option now that this video is a couple years old. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Angie, I watched a tutorial for Siser Sublimation-HTV last night, to sublimate on dark cotton shirts, I am wondering if its the same thing. The Siser seemed to have more steps. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on the Siser brand. I bought some preemie onesies and not thinking I printed my design for sublimation and the onesies are cotton. Or if you know something else to use to print the design with. Sorry I just saw the video you did on this.

      If the pile is high, you may get a texture through a thinner HTV. Something like glitter would give you a better result on a high pile.

      Flocked htv works best for that material I reckon.

    The white/clear marks in the leaves you mentioned to use tweezers on…. Do you think it would clear up after being washed?

    • @AngieHolden

      It probably would do that as well! I could rub it and those pieces would come off as well.

    Is it possible to do small projects like this with an easy press?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому

      Usually I would say yes for sublimation alone. This one with the foil requires a really heavy pressure and I don't think it would work.

    • @AngieHolden

      That would depend on what shirt/tote/etc you put it on. A 100% cotton would work better than the shirt I filmed here.
