Loved this conversation. Yesterday my overweight and unhealthy hubby said “why not enjoy life and eat all the things you used to enjoy”. My reply - I’m honoring my body and I am healthy, no medicines. 74 yrs old - 3years carnivore❣️
It’s hard to understand when you haven’t experienced it, isn’t it? I feel so much better than I used to and it’s really nice that my clothes fit better. I actually enjoy social settings more now that I’m not thinking about my extra weight. ❤
@@Vickiboe592 u r so strong. 16months meat and butter BUT no tangible results living with someone, just taste this or that, just one spoon. My husband laughs every time I go to Sam’s or Costco SOMEBODY questions the food in my cart. 😂 I’m friendly. But people ask some intrusive questions or say very judgmental things. When someone says nasty stuff I tell them I’ve lost over 100 lbs, then suggest they try it. 😂😂😂
@it is amazing how many people question what I’m eating and whether it’s good for me or not. Especially when the same people were quiet to your face & behind your back judgement when I weighed over 300 lbs. Nobody cared what I was eating. They did like that I was the FAT one, now I’m not the fattest one in the room. ❤️ Bonus, I feel like a million bucks. Thats what they should be jealous of.

I got to tell people the other day about JOMO (the joy of missing out). They were talking about the office christmas party and the food choices. They asked me how I would deal with all the carbs, like I was missing out and wouldn't have anything to eat and have FOMO (fear of missing out). I told her about eating the meat and cheese and sour cream and then I told them about the JOMO of NOT being diabetic anymore and not having high blood pressure anymore and not having joint pain every minute of everyday and not hurting getting down into the floor to play with my grandchildren! I have great joy in this way of eating! Life is good and I am blessed!!! Thank you , Kelly, for teaching me about JOMO❤
It seems like people don’t appreciate the dangers of being diabetic even though close relatives have suffered and died from this disease. I guess they think the answer is to take more insulin not less desert.
I FINALLY got a medical provider to agree to order all the blood tests I wanted. I was THRILLED beyond my efforts to see my fasting Insulin was 2!!!! I'm now 73, I've been carnivore 26 months and have been so much healthier everyday for it. All this has paid off. But she FREAKED OUT in a major panic telling me I was going to have a heart attack any moment because my cholesterol was so high. I told her all the data shows I'm pattern A and she does not have to immediately send me to the pharmacy for statin drugs and that I would never agree to take them!. She does not understand the pattern A and pattern B cholesterol and I told her that's why I needed the in- depth cholesterol panel done. Stick to your convictions and learn how to really understand the ❤lab results. I'm at an advantage because I practiced family medicine for over 50 years .
I holiday with my husband's family, and I take dishes that I can eat. This year I'm taking turkey with bone broth gravy and carnivore dressing. I may also some sliced brisket! Yum! I've explained to my mother-in-law that I'm eating this way to reduce inflammation . Some tease me, but I just laugh and let it roll off.
I’m 68 and work full time in a pediatric clinic (very active job) and I’ve been on carnivore since 8-12-23. Started carnivore to lose weight for my granddaughter’s wedding. I lost the weight and LOVED the way my brain felt. I’m addicted to the calm happy rushes. Nothing would make me give that up. I work with 20-30 year olds. They have never been negative to me, one has started it, and one told me she plans keto after Christmas. I had tried keto years ago and lost some weight, but it didn’t give me the “happy”rushed or stop my food craving. People haven’t insisted I eat or try anything. But it wouldn’t matter, at 68 I feel NO pressure to please anyone with their food choices for me. I’m really kind, but NO is always my answer. Love your Saturday morning videos. ❤❤
Freedom from food noise cannot be rated highly enough. I spent my LIFE before this way of eating listening to food after food. There was never satiety, never satisfaction, only the drive for more food, more food, more food. And then I was always mad at myself for having given in. So much easier to abstain than to moderate. Thx for the great messages.
I needed to hear this just now! God works in miraculous ways! I’m 53, going though menopause and work a stressful night shift! I’ve been completely carnivor for almost 2 months and am loosing weight so slowly. I was just beginning to loose hope and then I heard this! I’m devoting 2 years to this and then I’ll decide if this will become my lifestyle! I do love how much better I feel but I really want to loose weight too! Thanks again for all you do! It’s helping many! God Bless you and your family!👍🙌
I'm in the same boat. Slow and going through menopause. I have 'cheated ' per say. Love wine and some recess butter cups during holidays. But i need to stay on plan. No weight loss yet, in fact had Weight gain, but I keep doing it to myself so until I'm strict.
"It's the hill I will die on," absolutely true. But also "It's the Hill I will LIVE on." I got so much from this video, I really appreciate it, and I'm a guy. I have no moderation button in my brain. Once I start, it may be 3 days of eating the wrong stuff before I can shut it off. I love the "not going off plan" way to think of this.
Started carnivore cold turkey Nov 11 because of a scare with high blood pressure in crises mode and I did not want to go on meds or the ER. I did an immediate 30 hr fast and got off all grains, sugar, and vegetable oils. I did add potassium to my water and started drinking one unsweetened LMNT daily. I did add a few supplements but don't plan on that being long term. I have a very serious addiction to sugar! I appreciated this podcast because it gave some really interesting information about the guy and it also encouraged me to stay the course through the holidays. By the way I went from crisis mode down to almost normal blood pressure in 13 days with a loss of 12 lbs of fluid. Still struggle a little with temptation but I just visualize what my blood pressure was. I will be checking in on subscribing to this group! Thank you. Oh, I am almost 65 years old.
I will probably have veggies at my in-laws, but skip the sugary sweet potato casserole. And, I’m bringing a keto pumpkin cheesecake to my side of the family for pie, so I have alternatives that are “treats”, but nothing that causes me to spiral mentally or physically with symptoms. I’m hoping we can get all of our parents eating this way so next year we can all have a meat focused holiday season!
I have a new response I thought of (I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet) when someone tries to get me to try something that is not in my WOE. I will just say, "I can't have that - I have insulin resistance." This does 2 things: 1 - It communicates that I have a medical condition - so back off. 2 - It can start a conversation about insulin resistance and how it leads to so many deadly diseases.
Wow Wendy, I am 31 & thought you were my age!!! ❤ I tried going "off plan" for my youngest sons birthday this summer. Immediate regret. The cake was so sweet it was just too much & tasted like chemicals (I got a store bought cake). The ruminating anxious thoughts crept back in & I think I spent hours in my room crying over the silliest things that I just could not stop stressing over!! Paralyzing! We had 2 more kids birthdays since then & I made them cakes but did not have any. Meat brings me mental peace!
SARDINES: I thought I would not like sardines, but then to my amazement, I did!!! I loved them, then I liked them, and then for a little while I hated them but continued to eat them anyway ("Am I hungry?....hungry enough to eat sardines? (the hunger test.) But now for some reason I'm back to loving them again (with egg, cheese, ...delicious!) I don't like the ones with tomato sauce, or with rosemary, or chillies, or anything else...just the sardine brislings in olive oil...lovely!
I traveled the sardine path, too.. stopped last week cuz.. ugh.. 😂today, I put some leftover hollandaise on them.. yum! ( I know can't keep doing this, but.. maybe a jump start!
Started carnivore 2 months ago and I feel fabulous!! I recently sneaked a bag of bacon and a couple of meatballs in my wallet to a College football game. Oh wow it was so satisfying!! I ate every bit of it! Thank you Ladies for the video! I will watch this a few more times before my Thanksgiving gathering. It'll definitely help keep me standing strong! Happy Thanksgiving! So thankful I found you Kelly!
Living in the UK I've only got Christmas to get through but that is planned. The carnivore life has completely resolved my gut problems and the thought of relapsing back to that is enough to keep me on the straight and narrow. I have my own little mantra that I repeat when tempted which is I control what I put in my mouth no one else, my health is my responsibility. Great advice ladies.
I just went through our company Thanksgiving and I only ate Rotisserie Turkey, Ham with no sugar glazing, and the Smoked Pork Belly Bites I made. I've been recovering from a serious cheating stretch after traveling to Europe. I finally started feeling better--also I had been sick with a bronchial infection--and the thought of sabotaging the recovery from being sick and not wanting to feed my gut more junk just made it easy to avoid the junk. Also thinking about the fact that sugar feeds cancer and now I've heard it's been directly linked to causing cancer from Mindy Peltz (even if that isn't true I'm choosing to believe it because it doesn't hurt to eliminate it). I had absolutely no regrets. I felt great after eating. I didn't go back for more and more and more because I couldn't get full. I watched the most vocal and obese eat herself into oblivion and then complain the entire afternoon how awful she felt. (Coincidentally she is the one who berate me and my Keto Fasting work friend how we are killing ourselves with our "diets". She even took my friend out to eat with her husband to "save her"). Other coworkers commented to me about wheel power I had to skip the junk and how sluggish they felt. I commented how I felt energetic after eating. I think some of the myths out there are that meat makes you tired. How wrong that is. I know this is a long winded comment! But the timing of this video coincides with what I was figuring out this week. It really makes sense about the microbiome. It really hits home. That is such a good thing to add to my thought armory in addition to what sugar does. Thank you for everything!
Thank you cause no one gets it. I have an addiction. A crack addict wouldn't do it for a special occasion and expect to be OK. I am not relapsing for a one day.
I also am so very happy to have the food noise, constant desire to eat myself sick, gone! Carnivore is totally freeing and peaceful to this old lady of 59. Also grocery shopping is so much easier!
My husband and I were only 40 days into carnivore and we decided to “splurge” or indulge in some crackers barrel biscuits and corn bread on our trip while traveling out to MO for thanksgiving. 🤦♀️ NEVER AGAIN!!!! Ouch!!!! So so much pain overnight and for two days straight afterwards. Terrible. Enough to remind us of how bad we felt and to not want to eat off plan ever again. I was mind blown to see my body’s reaction to processing carbs after having been carnivore for only 30 days prior. Animal based is life changing. I’m so grateful to no longer struggle with food noise.
I recently traveled to Nashville and Pigeon Forge. I went “off plan” some. Sooo not worth it!! I am still recovering. So I totally agree to No Off Plan Holidays for me too!! 😊Also I love to crochet in “stressful “ situations as well!! I joined Kelly’s group for December. I’m excited to meet y’all!! Have a blessed day!! 😊
Whenever I come across something "off plan" I tell myself, "I don't need that." It's amazing the difference your mindset can make! And also keeps me from feeling like I failed or "ruined everything" when I chose to go off plan for the sake of a special gathering or occasion-in an attempt to not be insufferable to my family and friends. But in every day decisions, I go to "I don't need that." And it doesn't feel like a denial, it feels like a pass. Lol
Hey y’all, call your loved ones and hostess of Thanksgiving today to say you have a strict elimination diet to solve health problems including pain. Announce you will only eat meat. No pie. No cake. No pudding. No potatoes. No candy. Share your experience, and don’t keep it a secret. Great show, ladies! Thanks.
I just returned from a 18 day trip to Madrid, Spain and Rome and Florence, Italy and was able to stay strict carnivore, butter, meat and eggs, the whole time. I am 77 years old and carnivore and compress socks 😊 really helped keep up my stamina and strength. It is so worth it! Thanks, Kelly, for all you do to keep us focused and on track!
I did carnivore before for about 9 months, and felt awful. Stopped. Then tried Ray Peat, and was back to insulin resistance and gained 20 pounds. I feel terrible about myself. I decided to give carnivore another try this time, but including high fat and more raw meat and raw egg yolks. The transition felt a bit terrible since I work physically, but now I feel MUCH better. I was starving myself for years, and maybe my body really just needed more food. Binging your videos because they have been incredibly helpful
stick to your diet, the one that calmed the food noise. after a while, not too long I suspect, the nostalgia will be gone too. You be thinking about meat and how well you feel, not the "good old days". I promise.
I also carry around beef patties. They are great during travel. If not too hot, I carry cubes of butter with some Himalayan salt on it. These saw me through during my travels to unknown territory 🤩
I chose this video for my cycling session this morning and it made me feel so good I HAD to go and warm up those fatty beef short ribs in the fridge! 6.5 yrs carnivore and NOT stopping any time soon or for anyone of my loved ones. Love it!
My sis & I, both in Kelly's Monday group, got thru Thanksgiving without a single off-plan bite! I can really identify with this video and know the satisfaction of staying true to goals. I am never going to say "cheat" again. Thank you, Kelly and Wendy, for putting this video together. You are the best!
I’m making my fam all the regular Thanksgiving food they love and will enjoy watching them enjoy it while I enjoy my usual steak. I love all that good but I love the way I feel now a whole lot more!!
Yesterday I was trying to explain to someone why I had to say no to the fresh ripe cherries straight off the tree that I was being offered and was told “it’s all in your mind”. Oh you mean the reversal and massive improvement to lifelong inflammatory conditions, and losing a third of my bodyweight over the past 15 months … is all in my mind?! FFS
I experienced the microbiome thing. I was 1 year ketovore and then I cheated on a bunch of sweet treats that was at my work. Well....I had watery stools for 5 days and took 2 months for my gut to get back to normal. Now...I did get my gallbladder taken out 6 months in after starting ketovore and I was doing great until I had those darn sweets. I learned my lesson.
"DON'T expect people to read your mind". I've come to realize I can't read my own mind sometimes. I shouldn't think I can read others, or they should be sensitive and accommodating to mine.
What she is really saying is she can't just eat meat! Usually I've found those comments are more about themselves than you. Tell her to make you some bacon to go with the turkey!
Oh, I am so pleased that I came across this inspiring chat between you two.... so needed to hear it all!! I have had a bad run of eating 'off plan' due to spending time with my sister Sharon in her aged care facility as she was going through the last days of her life's journey...FTD - dementia is horrendous, there is much to the story. I have struggled to get back to the plan.... today has been the first time in quite some months, that I have managed to stay on track.... I am pleased with myself and I will be on track tomorrow & the next etc etc... that gut information certainly opened my eyes somewhat. Blessings to you both ❤💕❤️
This is SO inspiring and helpful advice it’s the holidays approaching. I’m only 3 months into my carnivore lifestyle but I too have battled food brain my entire life. All I could think about is food. I’d eat light in public but box it up and binge at home. If I made any baked goods, I ate the whole batch. I’m thrilled that after sticking to a carnivore diet, my cravings are gone. I don’t think about junk food the way I used to. They aren’t tempting anymore. Thank you for these tips!
I needed this. I was at an away work conference and though I stated my food preferences it fell on deaf ears. When we arrived lunch was served and it was sandwiches. With like two slices of meat on them. So im continuing how I plan to go forward.
I am crocheting while watching! 😂 It's also a great way to not snack if I'm having a 'moment'. I am mostly carnivore and the pounds have not melted off, BUT...my joint pain is mostly gone. 🥳🎉🎊 That's what I share with people...less pain! Oh! And my Mom is 79 and has watched my hubs and I live it, and she's going carnivore! She's still struggling with her sweet tooth and her mental thing thinking she needs her snacks, but her choices are so much better! ❤❤❤ Less pain and she's dropped 21 lbs. I am so proud of her!
theres a verse in Proverbs about (roughly) when you find honey, eat just enough. I can talk long about how often you would naturally "find" honey (in a bee's nest), and then how you personally would determines what's "enough" for you. Yeh, most carb-eaters wont stick around for that. 😁 God bless ❤️🙏❤️
I remember watching Malia on that video Kelly mentioned. I have NOT gone "off plan" since, not wanting to start over the process of the bad bacteria die off. wow!
I have been carnivore for 62 days now. This is my first holiday season. I'm so excited to start New Year's healthy and not feeling like a slug. I told my family I will admire all their hard work from afar. ❤ ❤❤
This upcoming holiday season will be filled with beautiful floral arrangements. Lovely to look at with wonderful smells. Gratefully, I don't eat flowers.🙂 May your Thanksgiving be blessed. 💙
I am a long time knitter, and I have never thought of taking a project along. What a great idea. I have struggled for years with food in holiday situations. Thank you for all that you do. I really appreciate you. Thanks.
Lately I got down to a weight I have not seen in my entire adult life. But then my hunger ramped up and went through the roof. I don’t crave sugar or bread. I crave bacon and pork rinds which I try to avoid (thinking it might cause inflammation in me). While I am miserable at feeling hungry and not eating bacon, I am relieved that I don’t even think about processed food now.
Watch more Kelly hogan videos. You need to learn benefits of carnivore and keto way of eating. High carbohydrates cause inflamation. Meat and animal fat do not. Also, Dr Ken Berry has many videos for you also.
Great video! I totally understand the food noise. That’s a great name for it, and that was me. My thoughts were consumed about what I was going to eat next, and when I was going to eat it. May we all stay on plan this holiday season!❤
Perfect timing. I've been wondering how i could deal with all the sweets I'll be faced with, from cranberry sauce to sweet potato casserole and, worst of all, pumpkin pie. This was a shot in the arm. I'll be very proud of myself if I make it through.
I've been on it a month. Have gained 10 lbs. But I haven't been 100% because of holidays. But I feel better, and I'm getting better with choices Ready to start the new year with being more strict. I am looking forward to the results.
that's right, I CHOOSE to not eat sugar and starches. I'm not missing anything but the inflammation... If it's a "cheat," then that means I'm on a 'diet.' I'm not on a diet. I have changed my lifestyle.
OMG Wendy yes! Thank you so precisely articulating what I've lived for 47 years. Folks who have not experienced it just cannot understand the terrorizing incessant food thoughts. To eat endlessly yet still be hungry and then the freedom when carnivore just SHUT IT OFF. Amen!
You ladies are amazing! This will be the first Christmas without sugar for me (I’m 71!) & I was anxious about how I was going to cope but I’m even more determined to not fall off the wagon…..how amazing it will be in January to ‘not’ have a diet goal at the top of my list of resolutions……I may even lose weight over the holidays! 🎉
I just love you, your energy and positivity Kelly ❤ Every time I watch your videos I have a huge smile on my face 😊 Thank you for being such an inspiring person 🙏🙏🙏
I learned about this bad gut stuff a while ago and it is definitely what keeps me from having ANY food that is not part of the Carnivore lifestyle. Before that, I thought, "What's the big deal? One bite of chocolate." So glad I learned this. 🙂
Almost 11 months carnivore and feeling SO much better!! I am HOSTING a 80 person(big family♥️) thanksgiving and I had the attitude of having a "cheat day"!! THANK YOU ladies for giving me an attitude adjustment!! And... I've just discovered butter bites and carb manager app!!! I CAN do this!!!
I have familial dysautonomia and I can tell you it is awful. I have heds, mcas, hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, brain aneurysm, and celiac artery aneurysm. I have been consistent since Oct 1st and was wondering why I felt crappy this week. Ok I am doing OK. I needed to hear this.
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO! I have toiled , created and had wonderful , huge, delicious Thanksgivings for many years for many, many relatives. Everyone at our table has always eaten wonderful rich foods that they eat no other time of year. After 18 months carnivore and all the miracles that come with it, I am celebrating an amazing Thanksgiving plan. I do not have sugar carb addiction, but I can't have wheat, soy, milk or corn, so that is a consideration. I will eat turkey and lots of it, gluten free stuffing, mashed potatoes, escalloped oysters ,fresh whole cranberries with monk fruit and orange essential oil, carrots instead of sweet potatoes, broccoli instead of green beans both to lower oxalates and carb exposure and sugar free pumpkin pie with a pork rind crust that tastes like graham cracker crust. I am so excited that I will have once a year delicious food and for the second time in 66 years, I will not be sick for 2 weeks after Thanksgiving. It is so exciting that I can splurge on special traditional foods and not suffer for 2 weeks after. I have no problems returning to my regular carnivore routine and actually look forward to the "food freedom" I have again after a successful special holiday! God Bless!
Kellie I loved how you shared with zKen Berry about your kids and husband. I’m 65. Been and done low carb, Leto. Some success but still struggling with health and weight. I loved how you work around your family but still keep the tried and true for you. Thank you so much
I’m so glad you made this video ladies! Now I have all the armor I need to abstain from all the things of the holidays when at parties and events. First up on the runway, THANKSGIVING! Great video for getting my mindset ready! 🦃
Great video, great interview, great testimonies. Thank you Kelly! I have a different "meal" every day Wednesday-Friday and i have a "plan" for each day! 💪 (Last year i allowed "just one bite" of the dishes that tempted me, and the carb ditch had a hold on me for awhile! NOT this year!)
So feel this! I’m 3 weeks in carnivore and still experiencing diarrhea multiple times every day. Along with the severe leg cramps, 4 hrs sleep , fatigue and I am fighting my brain to stay on this.
@ personally I enjoy ultima electrolytes. I stopped all dairy. Added a calcium and B vitamin and things aren’t feeling as urgent and they aren’t as frequent. Best of luck experimenting, hope you find relief soon.

Boy did I need this tonight
My coworkers gave me a gift basket of all protein, eggs, bacon, steak and cheese for my birthday! No cake or other snacks...it was wonderful! 🥳
What a great gift!
Awesome!

What a lovely supportive group, you are so lucky! ❤

I’m 68 and started Carnivore 17 August, 2023. We must be twins. 😁
I had never heard of food noise before. It makes sense to me as I, too, have had this going on in my head before carnivore.
Yes!! I definitely HAD food noise!! So happy not to hear that anymore!❤
Same here. On carnivore, no food noise. Sometimes the whole day passes and I don't even think about food. Such a huge relief!
Yep... no moderation button either....
Instead of having a piece of birthday cake for my birthday, I celebrated by eating, not just one, but TWO ribeye steaks! SO much better. Yummy!
Picking up knitting again in my 20s was how I avoided eating while watching tv and I still do that as a 60 year old. I’m ketovore
“Bacon wrapped anything that holds still”. 😂

I have a new response I thought of (I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet) when someone tries to get me to try something that is not in my WOE. I will just say, "I can't have that - I have insulin resistance." This does 2 things:
1 - It communicates that I have a medical condition - so back off.
2 - It can start a conversation about insulin resistance and how it leads to so many deadly diseases.
If faced with pressure, I say i'm allergic ( I break out in cravings and fat 😁)
Wow Wendy, I am 31 & thought you were my age!!! ❤
I tried going "off plan" for my youngest sons birthday this summer.
One bite for me is “Start your engines!”
I agree with the "Freedom"...!!! Best feeling EVER. Nothing taste better then the feeling of "Freedom". Thank You, great interview.
@@aliciadavies2547 I have signs posted in the house and my office that say, Nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels. I love feeling well!
She does look real young!!! Food noise is real for me as well!! I was the “human garbage disposal “. I need to loose the “Food Noise”!!
Thank you cause no one gets it. I have an addiction. A crack addict wouldn't do it for a special occasion and expect to be OK. I am not relapsing for a one day.
@@shilaba80 Hold fast! You got this!
Oh pigeon forge! I’ve been there… was it the candy stores? Never seen so many candy shops 😅
@ The goodies at Dollywood 🤣
How long has it been since you went off plan?
@ my trip was Nov 8-14. I didn’t eat off plan every day. I deal with auto immune issues.
@CarnivoreKay It's auto immune issues that put me onto this way, it's practically healed now but I don't think I'll have the cheat day i was planning!
Lol
2 beautiful ladies spreading the health message… early in the morning. It doesn’t get better than this! ❤
After 21 months I'm not even tempted. It still surprises me, after struggling with food all of my life.
I am free of food noise now, but sometimes the nostalgia for the old free lance lifestyle is still there.
stick to your diet, the one that calmed the food noise. after a while, not too long I suspect, the nostalgia will be gone too. You be thinking about meat and how well you feel, not the "good old days". I promise.
“Purse bacon” has instantly entered my lexicon.
The BEST advice for me was JUST START OVER! No punishment mentality. This is right on time as there are cans of sardines lined up 😂
My absolute favorite conversation. Thanks Kelly. I love your sense of humor. “Interpretive dance”. I will save this video.
OMG, I really like you more because I crochet or knit everyday for hours. That's the freedom of carnivore for me. No time wasted in the kitchen
Yes....the food noise is gone!! Praise God
FFS
I ate a package of Nathan's hotdogs before going to the theater.
Oh my goodness - “food noise” yes!! That’s it!! All I could think about every waking moment was what I could eat that’s sweet!!
wobbles helps with beginners to learn crocheting, embroidery kits are also fun. ❤ i’ve been carnivore for 1 month! i’m going to keep going.
"DON'T expect people to read your mind". I've come to realize I can't read my own mind sometimes. I shouldn't think I can read others, or they should be sensitive and accommodating to mine.
My sister keeps asking what she can make for me for Thanksgiving, she said “you can’t just eat meat.” 😂
What she is really saying is she can't just eat meat! Usually I've found those comments are more about themselves than you. Tell her to make you some bacon to go with the turkey!
When people say: "You can't just eat meat. I say, Why, not?"
Try "you can't just eat veggies" with a vegan.
Try Chris cooking Nashville carnivore stuffing
Perhaps deviled eggs 🥚
Or just say meat 🥩 only - I’m fine 🙂 but thx for asking me. 💕
Thank you for this amazing FREE CONTENT. Changing lives Kelly Hogan!!! ❤️ Loved this guest. Wendy is a Rockstar 💥🙌
I needed this. I was at an away work conference and though I stated my food preferences it fell on deaf ears. When we arrived lunch was served and it was sandwiches. With like two slices of meat on them. So im continuing how I plan to go forward.
I am crocheting while watching! 😂
It's also a great way to not snack if I'm having a 'moment'.
I am mostly carnivore and the pounds have not melted off, BUT...my joint pain is mostly gone. 🥳🎉🎊
That's what I share with people...less pain!
If I really need to change the subject, I start talking about the bible. Most people either leave or want to talk about the bible.
Good ☝️ idea
theres a verse in Proverbs about (roughly) when you find honey, eat just enough. I can talk long about how often you would naturally "find" honey (in a bee's nest), and then how you personally would determines what's "enough" for you. Yeh, most carb-eaters wont stick around for that. 😁 God bless ❤️🙏❤️
You just jump right out of the frying pan and into the fire, huh? 😂
Talking about the Bible or even announcing that you’re a preacher will clear a room in a minute!!😂😂
I so love that Kelly and many other Carnivores are not ashamed to talk about their faith in God.
Last night, I Chose not to have a baked potato even after I baked one for my husband and myself. Felt so good overcoming that potato.
I can bring some crochet along. One of many good ideas. Thanks again!
Thanks.
LOL, I have used every trick in the book with food pushers, but never 'explosive diahrrea'! Love it! I'll have that one ready to go!
I usually start with “tummy troubles” but if they persist I will escalate to the “explosive diarrhea”. 😃
Yeah, that phrase tends to shut people up right away! 🤣
Try a bit of butter.
Eat the bacon!
"Food noise"...YES . thank you ladies. ❤
Perfect timing. I've been wondering how i could deal with all the sweets I'll be faced with, from cranberry sauce to sweet potato casserole and, worst of all, pumpkin pie. This was a shot in the arm. I'll be very proud of myself if I make it through.
That gut biome part really explains a lot! Thanks for sharing that. I’ll have to watch that. Keep up the great work, both of you! Awesome interview!
I've been on it a month. Have gained 10 lbs. But I haven't been 100% because of holidays. But I feel better, and I'm getting better with choices
Ready to start the new year with being more strict. I am looking forward to the results.
Just love your interviews on Saturday mornings. Lots of tips and tricks for all, packed in this video.
Food noise. Good phrase.
that's right, I CHOOSE to not eat sugar and starches.
PS. I may try interpretative dance, if all else fails! 😂
I was on the floor when Kelly said “interpretive dance” 😅😂😅😂
Almost 11 months carnivore and feeling SO much better!! I am HOSTING a 80 person(big family♥️) thanksgiving and I had the attitude of having a "cheat day"!! THANK YOU ladies for giving me an attitude adjustment!!
And... I've just discovered butter bites and carb manager app!!!
I CAN do this!!!
Thank you ladies! I enjoyed watching this video. 🤣 I love the term “go off plan.”
Thank you both for sharing with us your experiences and tips 🤩💜🌟🍀
I have familial dysautonomia and I can tell you it is awful. I have heds, mcas, hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, brain aneurysm, and celiac artery aneurysm. I have been consistent since Oct 1st and was wondering why I felt crappy this week. Ok I am doing OK. I needed to hear this.
I so do the veggies and move it around on the plate trick. It stops people who's shoveling cake in their mouths to stop telling me how to eat.
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO! I have toiled , created and had wonderful , huge, delicious
Thanksgivings for many years for many, many relatives. Everyone at our table has always eaten wonderful rich foods that they eat no other time of year. After 18 months carnivore and all the miracles that come with it, I am celebrating an amazing
Thanksgiving plan. God Bless!
Thank you ladies. I messed up today on thanksgiving. I feel like crap so tomorrow back on the meat train
Thanks needed to hear this!!!
Wendy is awesome!!
Thanks Kelly
Great timing for this video. The explosive diarrhea made me and my granddaughter crack up. I can't wait for the bacon fast!!! Lol
❤ ❤great info ❤❤
Thank you for making this video to provide support through this holiday season.
Explosive diarrhea is why I went off plan last time. 😢 Hoping to avoid it this time around.
Lovely chat, thanks ladies 😊
We aren't any different than other addicts - there is no "cheating," there is only "going back to the addiction."
I’m going to use this!
Nice conversation, was a pleasure . I am new here ( just signed up ) and also in carnivore … hope to find good recipes ( also for family life ) …. 🎉
