    The Kia Ev6 GT Line S RWD is a great option. Comes with some very useful features to make your driving even more comfortable. I am rather excited to take delivery of mine in the near future.

    Thank you for doing this video, excellent job, I have got 1 identical on order, Delivery in Jan-Feb, same colour looks great ! a few things missing from your video which is a shame as I put this long video on to see the bits we hadn't seen in our test drive. Boot space, front bonet compartment, electrical connection part, boot open and close, but well done and Thanks !!

    So civilized. It just goes without the engine ramp up sounds or shifting or anything. A bit of sound from the wheels is about it. And the cabin is modern yet stylish. Seems a decent size too, not really high up like some crossovers are.

    Too many reviews show the EV6 going fast. So it was nice to watch you driving in a carpark. Does the EV6 have a creep setting for very low speeds (like an automatic) or is it all controlled on the accelerator?

    • @NortonWayGroup
      @NortonWayGroup  2 роки тому +3

      Thanks! We try and keep it sensible! 😎
      By creeping along if you mean letting off the brake and letting the car roll? Then yes.
      If you let off the brake pedal, the car will slowly push foward itself. However you can change the settings in the car so it only moves foward if you press the accelerator.
      You can also set the car so you never have to press the brake pedal. Just feather the accelerator pedal around town 😃
      Hope that helps!

      @@NortonWayGroup I have owned an electric car for over 2 years. I have tried all the various settings, high regen, low regen, creep on and off. I find high regen with creep works for me. Now I know the EV6 has a creep setting, it is at the top of my probable replacement list (in 12 months time). Thank you for the information.

    Great car when I test drove this very same car a few weeks ago, but the black pillars and head liner made it very dark and oppressive internally

      I agree that the interior slope makes it seem dark and a little closed in.

      Then go for Ionic 5, which seems the aesthetic and atmospheric opposite.

    Thanks for a great POV experience. At 27.15 surrounding cars start to appear in the drivers display as blobs. You mention this at 30.00, however prior to this the surrounding vehicles were not shown. Do you have to be in a particular mode for this feature to be activated? Thanks.

    • @NortonWayGroup
      @NortonWayGroup  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks! That's a great catch. As far as we know, you don't have to be in any particular driving mode for it to tirgger, It might have been because at that time, the assisted steering was turned on. (But don't quote us on that!!)
      If you are ever in the area, please free to come and have a test drive to find out for your self!

    Why didn't you use the steering wheel paddles to increase (and decrease) the regen braking instead of using the brake pedal? You would have recovered more energy when off the motorway.

    Isnt it 800 Volts architecture, not WATTS? Also curious as to whether you have a membership of MILOC (Middle Lane Owners Club) or BOLOC (B*****D Outside Lane Owners Club) just out of curiousity... I think the number of cars UNDERTAKING you does give the game away.. Nice car though, Shame its so hideously expensive....

    I wanted to order the Kia EV6 GT Line for a long time, but, two reasons why I will not: No prewarming of battery which gives lots of coldgating in cold weather, and, routeplanner does not set up charging points/estimates according to where you need it, which is a shame. The infotainment system seems a bit outdated and screens suffer from bad colors/low black/contrast. Tesla or Polestar is much more further ahead..But, its still a lovely and beautiful car, so I really hope Kia will release new software to corrects such small things really, should be no problem..but, I dont think they will bother

    • @Raptordavy
      @Raptordavy 2 роки тому

      polestar is android and very laggy, that was for me big NO GO, KIA is way better but not perfect

    • @Mr.Relaxed
      @Mr.Relaxed 2 роки тому +1

      @@Raptordavy Ok, thats strange, cause Polestars screen infotainment is faster than Teslas now. I tried it 1 week ago with the newest updates, maybe that is the reason? I found it very quick and smooth. But even so, I ike the Kia EV6 alot better. Kia have said they wil release an update later next year, where we will have ability to prewarm battery, and thats a big plus:)

    • @Raptordavy
      @Raptordavy 2 роки тому

      @@Mr.Relaxed tested the polestar about two weeks ago, just hate the android, not intuitive, speed was good, but was opening other screen and functions then pressed. Android is also super easy to hack, big no for me. Looks great though, drive was not they good, Volvo was XC40 was a better drive but infotainment was even worse (same android but less screens)

    • @Mr.Relaxed
      @Mr.Relaxed 2 роки тому

      @@JonasDavidsson He said that or he wrote it in a magazine? I heard from my dealer that the routeplanner has no intentions from Kia to change at all, but, there will the option to preheat before charging, but not via app or by your own doing via app

    Not much point in having a car that changes lane automatically if you stay in the middle or outside lane most of the time!
