Missed by who? Film actors are no more than glorified liars. They often present an image of themselves that they or hardly anyone can live up to, and they kiss and slobber and other things to people that are not their true life partners. Take away the script, directors, music, stunt people, editors, etc., and what do you have left? Give me a break with this pagan worshiping.

Richard Boone was SUCH a WONDERFUL man, and a great actor!!!! It was wonderful of him in this video to say that Duke stood-up for what he believed. Boone never did that publicly, nor did many actors who agreed with Duke because they were afraid it would hurt their careers!!! Tom Selleck hasn't had the career he should have had because he let it be known that he was a conservative!!!!!

Richard Boone died in 1980 when he was only 61 years old which amazed me as I thought he was much older! He made a movie with Robert Mitchum in London in the mid-1970's and the two tough guys had to have a shoot out at the end of the movie. Michael Winner was the directer and he told how the two guys turned up to shoot the scene so drunk that they could barely walk or talk. But the scene had to be shot that day and it ended up with Mitchum and Boone staggering around the road shooting in every direction and only avoiding being hit by passing cars by pure luck. But Winner who direction Charles Bronson is several movies, described Micthum and Boone as two of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet, whether drunk or sober. it's nearly always the case, bad guys on screen and gentlemen in real life.

That's all you need to happen to you in your life as a child to become a creep and a bully yourself which you have no need for.its hard Vickie it's very hard to hold on to your sanity and manners and not to lose your temper at bozos that are complete idiots and are very stupid and also have very big mouths and have no idea how many people they are really hurting around them.they probably think we would not take offense to any of those horrible comments of theirs but they are wrong.telling others things about these actors that are false and untrue, rude, cruel and very unfair is going to hurt others and those idiots don't care at all.saying they are glad they are dead and had gotten sick and all that other garbage made me mad.people are like sponges that absorbe a lot but after awhile a sponge docent absorbe anymore than you have to squeeze it to get all of the liquid out .people go through that too they absorbe a lot that they had enough and are going to speak their mind.the idiots don't care and relish in hurting others with their crap that is false.they don't even care that they may hurt the families of these people let alone the people who are no longer with us who can't defend themselves. I bet Vickie if any of these wounderful actors were still with us today and were face to face with these morons, I bet they would zip their lips, shut up and clam up very fast and not say anything else. They might even be taking to a woodshed for the manners they really need.they only can say garbage about people if they are not there ,if they are not alive,if their backs are turned or if they are behind a computer and that is it .people like this should not be on the computer but they are and we live in America and these is the country of freedom and free speech. But speech like this is hurtful, untrue and should not be heard ,it's uncalled for.sorry about my speech being long but when I read yours and the feelings you had about those jerks,I had to put in my two cents worth on this matter.but what else can you,me and other fans do but fight for our actors .these men are not here with us anymore I sometimes feel we have to stand up for them ,their voices are silent now and they can't do anything about it anymore. Accept get upset in heaven and the good Lord our savoir who is up there with them will find a way to comfort them in any way to keep them from getting upset ,but you have to think they have got to be hurting up there and it is hurting us to and it's very sad.i feel like we are their voices and we have to stick up for them because Vickie these actors can't because they are gone and they can not.but I wish they were here, but they unfortunately are not.i hope you guys are finding episodes of have gun will travel online somewheres they have to be up there somewheres it's just getting harder now.you all may have to do what I did and order the complete series from a movie dvd catalog.they are great no commercials, and none of that mess of them cutting parts out of the show to fit in more boring stupid commercials we have no interest in the first place.i had also purchase dvds of had ramsey, mind you these are video tape quilatiy only, they are not the greatest but you have to take what you can get and I'm taking them when there is a very handsome man on it.now if NBC was to grow brains which to me they don't seem to be doing that at all would get going and get this show cleaned up and in good shape and get it FINALLY on dvd like it should be we could enjoy this the correct and right way it's supposed to be.if you would like the information on how to get these shows on dvd I'll send you some that way you will not have to suffer like this.boone fans deserve to be treated better not to suffer.to this date I'm still somewhat short on his shows like medic, still I do not have the Richard boone show but I am in hot pursuit of that to.and I need about 18 of his Tv movie and other movies.i hope you are having the same luck at getting them to.well I got to go have some things to do,but if you want to get those shows let me know I can give you info it may not be much to go by but I was getting tired of waiting for have gun will travel to come back on tv and now it's problems on the internet I ordered 8t and was extremely happy and took a gamble at getting the hec's on dvd but I loved that show and I had to try something.i would not want that show to disappear from youtube either so I was not taking any chances.you have a nice day vickie.

I have a lot of things of his on dvd and I will tell you he looks mighty fine and us ladies have no problems with that .ladies like you or me would have no problem riding off into the sunset with him.i had just gotten done with one of my hec Ramsey dvds and he looked very good.the picture quality is not the best because they are taken from video tape quilatiy but I will take what I have .if NBC was smart and get them on dvd instead of messing around us fans would not be in this fix.its like a tug of war between us fans and nbc.they believe they have what they want, but they are wrong as always.if we have to we fight back we will and if we have to get hec Ramsey on dvd other ways we will.you can see Vickie the fans have the brains while NBC has none.im glad you are doing fine and trying to find whatever ways you can at getting to watch boone in any way you can.maybe you'll get lucky and get the rest of the series of have gun will travel on dvd. Believe me when you do you will be completely satisfied with each and everyone of the episodes, including great pleasure at knowing you will be seeing that handsome man Richard boone ,my goodness what a gorgeous babe he is and he is one HEC of a man.well I better let you go about your business, nice talking to you again.

@Vickie OGLESBY nice hearing you vickie, our power had just gotten put back on late yesterday afternoon after yes another hurricane Dorian. Yard is a mess and very wet,so we had no power and was very hot ,even the internet was out.i still think a lot of areas are still without power in the state I'm just not really sure.the comments from the sick boone hanters is coming back wish they had gone away along with the storm.i can give you a very good guess which one of the sickos these tasteless comments came from ,I won't repeat what was said it's not worth it ,it just would make you angry like me and make your ears bleed.its becoming boring ,dull and very old to here this mess from these people if you can really call them people. Oh if they would just go away and never come back it would be so nice ,I did respond to tell that loser to find a mirror and go look in it,he's very lucky I didn't say something very bad.no one deserves to sink to the level of creeps like this it just isn't right we don't need it vickie.it doesn't matter where you go those morons seem to follow and keep coming they just won't go away.oh,well.i hope your having a lot of luck at getting your daily boone fill as much as you can.and I hope you are still having luck at have gun will travel to watch.its no fun when you can't watch what you want .Oh yeah the other day I had just got the movie the warlord in the mail with Charlton Heston and of course that beautiful man Richard Boone my he was very gorgeous and even Charlton was beautiful too.and for the morons who said boone ruin this movie no he didn't he was great and fit in this movie perfectly (especially in those tight tights,oh my!)you people are just mad you don't have talent like that and look that good you people will never get it let alone have a clue !so why don't you all go away and fly a kite and never come back!while me,vickie, and all of the other ladies that adore and love Boone can sit back and truly enjoy that sexy handsome man and just dream and we can even admire Heston to.why not two hot babes is not a bad thing!well I have to go we may be busy for awhile cleaning up after a storm...again hope you have a nice day Vickie and keep enjoying watching Richard Boone as much as I do.

@Vickie OGLESBY I see a lot in people v ickie and it's not as easy as it seems.i think sometimes we seem to look at people on the outside only and we tend to forget about looking at them deeply on the inside.a lot of people think when they see a person it's like oh their handsome or oh their ugly and that's not always true or fair.i think if like for example if a person isn't pretty to someone another person will see something in a different light and a whole lot deeper. it's like a person who may not be handsome to others may be to some other people who see it more differently by looking at a person on the inside too.sure I love looking at a person on the outside but Vickie we all could see so much more in a person than on the looks on the outside if we all would stop and think at seeing a person on the inside too.i try to do that a lot ,but unfortunately a lot of people out there didn't do that like a lot of people on the web it's hard to ignore people like that because they are still there I should know.its like everywhere I go and where you Vickie go on the internet you ,me and others try so hard to get away from these people they are there.i don't remember where it was but the same people who were picking on Boone, and HESTON, and even Wayne were there with more insults .I'm just wondering where can any of us go to enjoy the internet and even have a friendly chat with fellow fans without running into the creeps that hurt others who seem to follow us wherever we go?it just gets so tiring to here from these people when you are trying to have a good conversation with fans of other actors you like.

Richard Boone may have looked that age, but he passed away at age 63 in early 1981, Boone would have made it to 64 since he was born in June of 1917 but didn't. Marvin thats Lee Marvin ended up dying at the same, age in August 1987.

tony shumway quite a few actors that died young like Lee Van Cleef In 1989 at 64. Richard Boone and Lee Marvin were heavy smokers and drank heavily. Boone struggled with alcoholism for years. Quite a few stars in those that drank and smoked as was norm to in those days. Unfortunately stars like John Wayne, Spencer Tracy, Montgomery Clift, and Humphrey Bogart among others paid the price due to smoking and drinking. Although Wayne died from stomach cancer due to exposure to radiation on a film set years earlier before his death he suffered from lung cancer with being a 4 to 5 pack a day smoker as was Humphrey Bogart who died of Esophageal cancer from his 4 pack a day smoking habit and Hard drinking

He was diagnosed with lung cancer and lost a lung because of it,but unlike other stars of his generation like Gary Cooper and Humphrey Bogart,Wayne survived his diagnosis for another 17--18 years, dying in his 70s rather than in his 50s.

Many of the stars and crew like the director would die of cancer due to exposure. Wayne died of stomach cancer in 1979 , Susan Hayward of brain cancer in 1975, Pedro Armendariz in 1963 after made the James Bond movie From Russia With Love. Director Dick Powell died from cancer as well in 1963.

The pussies thought that too violent..when they took gunplay and action cartoons and stuff off tv..then kids had nothing to internalize aggression. That is why you have more shootings outside..more school shootings..more mass killings..because instead of keeping it in the home on tv and seeing commercials about western characters talking about gun safety..they replaced everything with sex and gory bloody films and porn and said this is more safe. And took prayers out of school. Now we have a bunch of devil's running the film and tv industry and everything has gone to hell.

Liberalism, feminism the pc brigade, the list is endless sadly. None of which existed in Wayne's time. And also the need for diversity to be rammed down our throat at every opportunity and be told we have to accept it. That's what's happened.
In a way its good that people of that era, and the likes of Wayne Martin et al, are not living in this world now, as I think they would totally hate what it has become. Can you imagine John Wayne on a reality show. Nightmare thought I know, but that's what level we're at today. So we should be thankful that they didn't have to worry about that. And they lived in a time that we can only wish for, but they actually had.

@James Henderson Quite frankly, who is the "bigger star," John Wayne or Clark Gable is more a matter of personal opinion than anything else. I've great respect for Clark Gable. I can't think of a single one of Gable's movies I've ever watched that I do not like. (Both my sister and her husband "cannot stand" John Wayne. They won't watch---and have not seen in many years, any of Duke's movies. My sister's politics are far to the left of mine. This and many other examples I can site say something to me about "tolerance" and lack of tolerance. Most of the liberals I know have far less tolerance and/or respect for the opinions of others. Conservatives such as myself believe in freedom of thought and freedom of expression. You are obviously more of a fan of Clark Gable than of John Wayne. I very much like JW. But I also very much enjoy most of the Errol Flynn movies I've ever seen. Andy McKane, Molokai, Hawaii.

You would think tests would have been done, maybe there tests for safety reasons. I wonder if people live in that area now. Good comment..!

Can you imagine the audience's reaction if he had fallen down those stairs? Pandemonium doesn't describe it.

Mr. Zaleski, you are not a gentleman. It is not polite to call someone a "moron" under any circumstances. If you knew about the way cancer matastazes (sp?), it doesn't spread from the lungs to the stomach. Duke had lung cancer at least ten years before he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. If Duke had died of lung cancer, he'd have died in less than three years after his surgery. God bless Duke, a great human being, and a great American.
