the death of Karen Page was the best part of the graphic novel, that conversation between Peter Parker and Matt Murdock on top of the Brooklyn bridge was heartbreaking.
Judging by his amazing comic writing, Kevin Smith should make some more serious movies. I love Clerks, but still, he'd probably make amazing serious movies.
Never understood this whole “only Frank Miller can write Elektra” deal. His most famous work is redefining Daredevil & Batman. By redefining Daredevil, he turned Kingpin into Daredevil’s arc enemy. If Miller came out and said he only used Marvel & DC as a stepping stone for 300 & Sin City then fair enough but that wasn’t the case.
It's true though. Nobody's come close since, really. Only Miller knew how to write her, it was his creation and every one that's followed has had little to nothing to introduce to the character that's new and exciting.
Well the movie wasn't that great, but every time a movie comes out, that's based on a comic book character, it undoubtedly increases demand for said character.
No disrespect, Kevin comes across as such a fanboy. Frank Miller didn't even create Daredevil. he took the guy and drove him like a car in Grand theft Auto. The last thing I ever learned from Frank Miller was to be timid.
I was talking about Daredevil: The Target. It was supposed to be Smith's sequel to Guardian Devil, but because of his movie commitments, he never went past the first issue because he was missing deadlines and pretty much screwed his credibility.
I had no idea he was a writer on Daredevil. Liked him before but Ive got a new found respect for him now.

Guardian Devil is one of the best stories I've ever read. LOVE DAREDEVIL AND KEVIN SMITH!!!
I really hope to meet Kevin Smith at the Winnipeg comic invention. Who knows only time will tell.
I met Kevin Smith in Toronto 2 years ago. Amazing guy.
I miss depressed chainsmoking Kevin Smith.
Not depressed as laid back. Th pot smoking, ADD hyper and crying over insignificant shit is infuriating.
2003:Daredevil Target #1 comes out
2018: Daredevil Target #2 still coming...

Ethan Sturgill he talked about doing a remake of “a man for all seasons” with Alan rickman but after he passed I never heard him mention it again.
And I even have this book Kevin Smith is talking about
8 issues. Its definitely worth reading.

I agree and Frank having a grudge against Marvel for letting other people write Elektra is weird as hell.

Directors cut was pretty good i just dont take it that serious its like a b movie i guess but its still cool yo watch daredevil kick ass
I won't lie when I first saw this movie I enjoyed it and it made me want to read Daredevil comics
When I first saw it as a kid I thought it was ridiculous and absolutely horrible but it did raise my interest into how the actual comics are like....
Kevin Smith has his hands in many pies. There must be a game of degrees of separation with this guy.
Wow, i didnt know that about him. Awesome

Man you dropped the ball on Target, Kev.
Is target a character? I want to know his origin

+Artisan1979 oh I see
to me- its a wonder smith can do something remotely organized since he seems to be pretty chill like me
I’m glad that I found out why they killed Karen page it’s sad but I guess they had a good reason for it
this guy was always better at being a fan and commentator on art rather than an artist
His not a artist he's a writer
@@Batmanbeyyond are you saying that writing isn't an artform?
@@FirstLast-qb9iq I mean drawing
@@FirstLast-qb9iq he's not for the most part a bad writer
This would have made more sense after the Joe Quesada interview had made more sense.
Why does Kevin act as if he is like the authority on comics?
Frogwai cuz he’s a fanboy
how many issues are there in the guardian devil series??
ScreamingDeadbolt 5
@Drummer1285 I actually heard about that a few hours after commenting. LOL
He never did finish it.
its bad enough we were touching dare devil. lol
I miss non politically correct Kevin Smith.
Thank God we still have Tell em Steve Dave.
Oh, back when Smith was capable of writing good stuff...what the hell happened, man?
He knows what his audiences want
He sold out and now he bends over to the woke mob and cries every other day on social media
He joined the celeb cabal.
I hated Guardian Devil long before I knew who Kevin Smith was.
