This never gets old. I've watched it dozens of times over the years and it never ceases to fascinate me. Frank Miller, at his peak, was the best story teller the comic book medium has ever seen.

I saw this doc when I was 12 - I was mesmerised by hearing Miller talk about his work - him talking about the death of Electra was so interesting because he’s so unapologetic - he just explains why he did it, why it was necessary and owns the symbolism - I immediately was struck - that’s an artist
not counting his sin city works, the man hasn't written a good series since 1993 but, no one can never take away the fact that batman and daredevil would not be the characters they are today without him
I personally think that all of Sin City has still been good, which ended in 1999 but nothing else since he has started Sin City, 1993, has been any good. There is The Spirit movie but that wasn't good so much as so off the wall weird entertaining and also done in a similar tone and style as Sin City. Short version, it wasn't bad so it didn't fit my point
The Martha Washington stories are very good, personally. I would also say Miller's recent story The Dark Knight: The Last Crusade is really good. I do understand though the disappointment with some of the later works. But that happens to many artists, George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, and Alan Moore's latter work is not the same as their earlier work.

Miller redefined Daredevil and Batman. It’s evident when you watch the Batman movies directed by Burton, Nolan, Snyder, and Reeves. Season 1 of Netflix’ Daredevil is basically Miller’s Man Without Fear and season 3 is Miller’s Born Again.
But Black Widow was Daredevil's love interest before Miller ever became involved. Elektra didn't break new ground in that regard (having a girlfriend that could match him).

All star batman and ROBIN the boy wonder, is my #1 favorite run which was unfinished 😔 it's the fun, 80s action feel and depiction of a true troubled and villainous look at a iconic character that hasn't been explored or truly appreciated! I like Charlie Cox but you do not see his radar sense through his eyes and Bullseye from the Daredevil show was awful. Colin Farrell Bullseye was comic accurate and a beast and Clarke Duncan did a better job than D'onforio

Miller, among others, took the concept of a superhero and they took it apart to see how it works and learn new ways to use it. As they were, superheroes were stale and had been for years. Its only recently that the deconstruction has gotten stale and reconstruction has begun.

The big two don’t offer any incentive for new characters, or creativity, and the independent scene is the only place to find the best books, however independent books normally don’t cover the superhero genre. Dc has remained more consistent than marvel since marvel went bankrupt, not to mention Stan Lee’s lack of leadership over the characters. Forgive me for going off topic, but I doubt miller is really worried about pumping out the next daredevil, dark knight returns because he don’t have to deliver that caliber of story simply because dc and marvel probably pay him more money than anyone in the industry just to use his name.

This is the most poetic I've ever heard a writer get about a character. Not in love with all of his work but Miller was Daredevil's greatest writer.

Even though he didn't create Daredevil, Miller made it is own. I have every issue of Miller's run.
He's the reason why Daredevil is my 2nd favorite comic book Character, his story for DD/Murdok are some of the best I've ever read

Frank Miller's original run on Daredevil is my pick for #4 greatest comics of all time, behind Watchmen, the Dark Knight Returns, and Sandman.
While being longer is good, sometimes being able to tell a short concise story is stronger over all. That's my opinion.
