Retro bassin check out this video it’s on the spinrite.ua-cam.com/video/ZB5AchuGPaA/v-deo.html
Cool stuff never goes out of style. The more you explore the more you see new is seldom new.
The walleye here in Ontario loved that size beetle ripped off the bottom. That cassette ejecting made me laugh, well done on the fine details of the 80's experience.
Gotta be honest, I didn’t expect it to fly out like that!
Great video. Your videos always take me back to my youth. My first cassette player was an epic moment in life. Keep after them
The best thing about old school baits is THEY worked years and years ago and still work today. And still work well !!
Enjoy the goods! I love the alarm clock. That was standard issue for every parent in the 80’s. Hopefully you can wake up every morning to the sweet sounds of Styx or REO Speedwagon🤘🏼Thanks again for the shout out 👊🏼
Great opening I love the line north of the tail
Hey I have that Grass Frog Jr 😆
Thanks Again Chris.
I just found my Hank Parker edition of Bassin's Black Bass for Super Nintendo thinking I should play it!!!!
I still have that game
I think we all knew there was more than old school fishing behind your channel. Bring it on! My affliction goes on to watches, pocket knives, and pens. Best of luck to your wife! Haha!
Had that game a played the heck out of it. Used to love waking up early on the weekend to watch the fishing shows on TNN. Awesome box full of retro goodness from Big Minnow Mike. Very gracious!
Intro is EPIC
That little theme some from my buddy Tom changed everything!
I’m an NBA Jam kinda guy, but I can definitely get behind this too!
That is the same clock radio my wife and I had for like 20 years!! Super cool!! 👍🏻😎
Another great video! Get up here to Kansas! They're starting to bite!
Dude I found this shop in Nacadoches Texas they have TONS of old fishing stuff im going there in a few days but dude if your ever in the area check out old town antiques!(That's what the place is called.)
On it! Thanks for the hot lead!!!
The leader was for pike
Crazy now when you want to give the bass something different to look at you can go old school which still works.
Thanks! At first I was thinking you had a game that ran off a cassette, which was standard 40 years ago.
Man when you come up for the tour we need to get together that is in my area
Yesssss. Let's do it, good buddy!
@@RetroBassin let me know a day or two ahead of a time and I will be ready
Retro bassin you can get a Sega genesis for less than 50 bucks just gotta look online
We had a Pong game then the Original Atari with crappy controllers. Then I went outside for twenty years and bought the Sega Genesis at a pawn shop for wintertime.
I think my parents had the same clock radio but it died ten years ago.
I have a special Rapala that only came with a bass fishing computer game.
Also loved playing black bass on Nintendo.
I believe my mom had the exact same clock radio when I was growing up. The alarm on it was OBNOXIOUS! 😂
Dude the Beetle without the spin is easy to fish I saw a guy fishing a green one the same size as that in the river and he was smashing bass and crappie, he was barely working it, just throwing it at banks and close to wood, he caught double what I caught that day in just bass not counting the 8 crappie he caught on that sucker!! They don''t see that bait often anymore so it will hammer some bass
Hay the gameboy has a fish finder and deeper.
Yeah but its Japanese only and hard to find
@@yakamarezlife no I have no problems finding it. Old tech is my specialty so I rarely have no issues finding some old tech.
Used to use those little leaders I would run them on my Sally’s to keep the jack fish from cutting them off
Great video!
When you get your Sega Genesis set up you should grab Bass Masters Classic for it as well. You’re going to need a CRT TV though for the true experience.
Still a few old timers that fish Dale Hollow that swear by the spin rite
Fish the bettle like the ned rig. The bettle spin after all is the precursor to the ned rig.
Can we please find a genesis and play that game?
Dude, you know it.
@@RetroBassin i played the whole thing but you need a password to get to the final tournament which you can only get by phoning a now defunct number
Hey I had that radio! LOL
It's a beaut, Todd!
Love this channel it made me open up my old tackle box that’s not been opened for 30 years wish you could have seen what was inside. By the way I have a sega genesis in my closet.
How do you rig up a mister twister phenom worm a have a pack of 20 that my uncle give me and I dont know if do a texas rig or a Carolina rig what are you say?
You could either Texas right, Carolina rig, or fish on a hook with a split shot 12 inches up the line. Keep it finessey!
@@RetroBassin thank you very much now I know what to do
Just found your channel, love old weird shit myself, at 27 my coworkers and friends love to mess with me about my affinity for the "old school" don't get me wrong I love my modern fishing gear too, but I do love some of the beautiful and still functional retro gear especially old lures.
WITH THAT SAID, I know you mentioned being sad about the pedigo website being defunct, I haven't checked at the time of writing this, but you should checkout the way back machine or some other web archive. Its very possible theres a saved "copy" of it somewhere you can click around on and find more info about the bait. Just thought I would share
Thanks for stopping by, good buddy. I’ve been old school so long, even my new school was old school!
TNN, ahhh the good ol' days. Those Creme worms still kill it on the water today.
Check out bassins black bass on the snes thats the best retro bass fishing game
Hey, such a Rad Show! What’s up from Tricky Ricky # Nakedfishingshow
I gotta say I'm not digging the retro video filter man. Cleaner looks better.
