I know exactly how you feel about this purchase - I just took delivery of my R1300GS (Option 719 version) two weeks ago, and every day I want to ride it even more. Congrats!
Thanks so much and I would definitely recommend it the 1300GSA it's a huge leap in technology and ride quality, If you need an intro to Haneda then I'm happy to help out even if for a test ride on the new GSA mate
@@lifewithpye2981yes i have now orderd the headlight protector as I do ride a lot on motorways and the radiator protector as well and the Hella to UBS-A cable that should all be here next week
Absolutely love it! I liked that you recorded at the dealership. Stalling the bike was fun (and relatable 😂). The automated ride hide adjustment on a big bike sounds amazing, that along with all the other tech. Looking forward to future adventures!
Hi Arch, congratulations on the new awesome bike, looking really cool! One thing - in your video at 18:59 you're going through the Shimbashi underpass, which is also known as "Shimbashi trap" - motorcycles prohibited. There will often be a police bike ambushing around the exit from the tunnel on Showa-dori. Speaking from experience. If you look through your footage that didn't make it into this video, right before the tunnel entrance, you may be able to see the sign. It would appear right after you pass the railway bridge above, really hard to notice, almost no time to react.
This 1300GSA looks very impressive and it makes the observers visually feel its bigness as well as its weight. But it’s an unexpected and nice fact, as you say, that it is actually lighter, less tall, and easier to walk around and manipulate with than the 1250. I think it is a definite evolution that its riders can appreciate. This will surely widen your motorcycling world and increase its pleasure. Congratulations, Arch, on the nice change you got!! PS - I think the side stand is meant for the right hand side traffic countries, where the road is higher toward the left.
Congratulations on your new steed Arch - wishing you lots of safe and memorable motoring miles ! As a fellow R1250 GSA (low suspension) rider, I avidly watch your Vlogs in my favourite country and I was a bit sad to see your 1250 GSA go, truth be told. But glad you are happy with your new ride and looking forward to watching more journeys from you. Cheers ! Naveen.
Thank you so much Naveen, I'm really enjoying the new bike and will be sure to share more adventures with you soon and in the hope i csn convince others to maybe consider a new bike as I have no regrets 🤣🙏
Great Video, thank you so much! My 1300 GSA will arrive in march. Might I ask you which cell phone holder you are using? Also, the navigation hardware seems interesting!
sure Alfons, I'm using the QUAD Lock phone holder and it is mounted to my handle bars using the RAM mount product. The Navigation system is CHIGEE BMW AIO-5 Play
I stopped by Haneda Motorrad on Saturday with my son to check out the new GSA. Unfortunately I was just there looking and not shopping. They are nice looking bikes.
How long have you been in Japan? Sounds like you are fluent in the language. I just bought a 24 R1250GSA, (big savings on a 24 leftover) had a 18 R1200GS before and I really like the big fuel tank of the GSA. Saw the new R1300GSA at the dealer and in person it looks much better than in photos. I hope to take the new 1300 for a test ride when the 1250 goes in for the 600 mile service on the 30th.
awesome thats a lovely bike as well, been here for just over 20 years however have never really studied the language just by speaking to people it helps the most i feel. Have a fun and safe ride on the GSA your going to love it !!
