- While Sony didn’t have the best of launches when it comes to the PS3, the console was eventually able to pick up the pace and make its run a successful one. The Cell processor was extremely difficult to develop games for, and Sony didn’t exactly have the best pricing but it was the high-quality games that drew people towards the console.
The PS3 was home to some amazing hits including but not limited to first party releases and also third-party games such as Grand Theft Auto 5 and Metal Gear Solid 5. And with this feature, we run down 15 of the best games available on the system. - Ігри
Wasn't Splinter Cell Conviction only on Xbox and PC? Pretty certain PS3 never got that game. We got Blacklist, not Conviction.

Red dead redemption, Maxpayne 3, Last of us, Uncharted 2, GTA4, LA Noire, Fallout New vegas, Fallout3, Mafia 2, Splinter cell Blacklist, Skyrim, GTA5, Sleeping Dogs, MW2, Resistance fall of man, Reistance 3, Killzone 2, killzone3, MGS4, uncharted 3, Far cry3, AC2, AC3, AC Black flag, Dishonored and God of wat 3 are my top ps3 games.
Red Dead Redemption, Bioshock, Dead Space 2, etc.... I know there has to be a limit to the number of games included, but those are universally considered all time games and didn't even make this PS3 specific list. Lets also take a moment to appreciate Rockstar releases on PS3. GTAIV, Read Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3, LA Noir, and GTA V in a single generation. That is mind blowing.
But conviction made the first entry but wasn’t ever a ps3 game 😂

Metal Gear Solid 4, little Big Planet 2, Assassins Creed 3, Skate 2, The Last of Us. Top 5 for me
When I start the last of us, and goes to the part in the beginning where it teaches how to use bandage for first time, I am able to select the bandage but after that no matter what I do, I can not use that bandage. So I am literally stuck at the beginning point ever since, and have not played it. Anh clue, how to do it ?

Uncharted 2 averaged a 96 on metacritic but I still say its underrated because A LOT of people dont know about its flawless online 10/10!
I think the list is ps3 only other than splintercell conviction that they messed up lol but what im saying is uncharted to has a rerelease on ps4 in a remaster collection pack

I still feel that the best games on the PS3 still hold up very well especially if we're going by Nintendo Switch standards. I'm not sure if PS3 versions of Uncharted 2/3 or Last Of Us can run on the Switch as good as it does on the PS3

Playing MGS 4, and MGS V on the same console always amazed me.
I had some experience with Motion Capture and voice acting and gotta say SP Conviction has got some seriously fluid and cool animations, movement and fight choreography - something that wasn't so obvious in the past. Kudos to the devs. Also, the VA of iconic Micheal Ironside and Edward Yankie as Archer is flawless. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

Pretty good list except Splinter Cell Conviction was 360 exclusive. An interesting list to make is what games are still stranded on PS3. You named GTA4, Max Payne 3 and Motorstorm Pacific Rift, which are a few. We just got RDR, so GTA 4 has got to be next.
I know people were ragging on RDR just being a port, but I wouldn't mind if some of these stranded PS3 games made their way to current systems as ports. Better that way than to be stuck on an older system. I would totally buy SR2, Batman Arkham Origins and a bunch of my faves if they were available. People like Motorstorm, but I had more fun with a game called Pure. If it had multiplayer, it could have been more popular. Also there's no way of playing the Silent Hill games like Homecoming or Downpour without a PS3. Some hidden gems still remain on the system.
And they showed PC version footage!

I have our over 16 years old Ps3 and I still play with that, my favourite Ps3 games what I have are Sonic Generations, Sonic Unleashed and Sly Cooper Trilogy. With this video I'll see Ps3 games what will interested of me defienitily I wan't try Gta4, Mass effect 2, Unchardet games and Prototype 1 with ps3. Recently played LA Noire, very unique game but overstayed its welcome, main gripe was the very detailed but unused and empty city.
My main gripe is getting the ending spoiled on a fucking gta video
The city was a let down but man I 😘 ve that game, wish they would consider another one but I'm pretty sure the studio got shut down...
