The weird fuzzy flexible items in the beginning are called "pipe cleaners" and they were originally used to clean pipes (specifically smoking/tobacco pipes) The ones we often saw as kids are just arts & crafts pipe cleaners!!!
I think it's fascinating how different people's brains work differently. Sometimes, I was (mentally) yelling at the screen with an answer that seemed obvious to me, and other times, I was blown away by how easily they were solved when I couldn't see a clear answer. Love watching this game! So interesting and relaxing, I want to get it myself 😊
For the owl one, their head was rotated progressively more and more to the right. For the pen one, the direction of the pen lid was facing left to right. For the coin one, they were organised into ones with holes, ones with smooth faces and ones with patterend/imprinted faces. Hope this clears some things up, fun vid as always :)
@@dothedo3667 gab was right about the thickness/pointy-ness of the bottom of the pens, she just didn’t center the rightmost one which is why it didn’t count
The one with the pen caps that you did at 1:32:45 was the rotation of the cap, with the clip of the leftmost cap being twisted to the left and the rightmost being twisted to the right The one at 1:39:30 might just be to have the ones with holes, ones with designs, and blank ones all on their own rows, maybe in no particular order?
When she tried to swap the caps before thinking about clips or (what I was thinking) color and material (or design I should say, thought all the wood texture ones should be together) my OCD started to cry. I even turned my phone upside down when all the caps and pens were a mess- I may not have thought of the clip rotation, but I feel like I would have figured that out before mix matching things in a game about organizing. Love the silly Gabber, but that made me want to cry. 🥲 Also glad that someone else noticed the rotation of the clips because I almost thought I was crazy.
“And you get an egg instead.” 😂 I kept going after with the mug one. I said “And since you didn’t want an egg, you put it in a mug because you don’t know what else to do with it.” Mine is less fun and clever since it’s longer but I still thought it was funny lol.
@@hotwateronwool lmao, I basically make sure US VA disability cases are set up correctly before they get scheduled for disability evaluations :) I work from home for a consulting firm
I love this game mixed with gab’s energy, so chill and cosy 🥰 Edit: The owls head was the order of it turning to look around, the pens were ordered in the way the clip on the lid was facing, and lastly the files were ordered on the colours of the writing on them. (Example; the yellow one at the top had a blue squiggle which matched the background colour. )
I love this game so much, its so chill. It feels like your cleaning/organizing some Fae Folks house where starts off just satisfyingly organizing shelves and cupboards then slowly gets more 'out there' as you go on, with the cat as your adorable guide.
for the owls: the owl was turning its head 360° for the pens: the clips were organized based on which way they were facing. the sides were flat facing left/right and the middle was well.. in the middle! hope that helps gabs ❤
I like watching you play these organizing games because I could never play them myself. I would see the big mess at the start of each level, get overwhelmed and be like "nope, that's too much, I can't" 😂
Okay but the one where you're organizing the cuppycakes .. and got excited over the coffee grinder knob fitting nice in the bottom cabinet. That's the stuff right there 🤣 idk how to tag time markers, but 25:35-25:38
The second last one with the coins was tricky! The pattern was coins with holes, blank coins and coins with pictures! I also struggled with that one for a bit :D
I played the DLC almost as soon as it came out lol!! I’m looking forward to see how you’ll enjoy it! It had a lot more of the typical organizing stuff that I wanted more of in the base game!!! :D
I watch these to help me fall asleep, I find them so relaxing. Since getting pregnant they have been the only way I’ve been able to fall asleep since pregnancy gave me serious insomnia.
1:17:12 with the owls - it looks like the head is turning to the right and all the way around, like a clock. So it's like up, to tilt to the right, tilt downwards, tilt to the left, and then it restarts the cycle again. Just thought I'd add that in, really enjoyed the video, much love from South Africa ❤
Thesolution for the coins: the top row had holes in it, the middle was no pattern and then the last one had some sort of pattern on it. This hour and a half just flew by! So relaxing
The last star for the pens was the positioning of the clips on the pen caps. The went from facing all the way to the left, then gradually starting facing to the right. The 2nd star for the one with the buttons had the top row all had holes, middle row had patterns on them and bottom row were blank.
53:34 I don't understand why that worked. When it didn't work before her last correction, I assumed the dice needed to be arranged either by number of sides or by face-up number (both of which would be the same order), but she had them in order of 0, 1, 3, 2, 4, 5 (D4, D6, D10, D8, D12, D20). Maybe one of them just wasn't snapped in perfectly and the order didn't actually matter??
I went to the comments exactly for this, it seems like a mistake on the solution's end, as both the type of dice (number of faces), or the actual value are inverted for the D10 and D8, I was so confused
I have the worst headache, i have woken up twice tonight and its only 3 in the morning, i cant go back to sleep and my bowels are very mad at me. This is helping me to get distracted from the pain. thank you.
Oh yay, I saw this was out and was wondering if you'd be doing a playthrough! So interesting to see someone else solve the puzzles/see what they sort first hehe
as someone who cuts hair professionally - where i work we’ve used those pipe cleaners to get hair out of our clippers by pulling them through the blade area. works fairly well! the hair inside the clipper clings to the fuzzy part of the pipe cleaner, so it gets pulled out!
The owl one was the owl heads facing the corners they belong in. The owls head that was straight was a hint in putting that one down last as it would be the last one left to place.
Thank you for this. Was hand washing my dishes while I watched and not realizing it, was making everything fit on the drying towel in symmetrical ways. Lol.
The pen cap solution was about the rotation of the caps using the little clip things. I was yelling it at the screen bc it was the dirt solution I saw. But I love watching you play this game ❤
My cat was lying on my belly while I watched this and she really liked the little ‘ding’ noises that the dried flowers made when they snapped into place. She was watching that part ❤
Confusing coins one was solid coins, with holes, and with impressions. I meant to work during this but I was honed in on your organizing the whole time haha, love your stuff Gab!
Someone is packing items in a drawer that doesn't exist, while half a million people are watching her and they are too lazy to even do packing in nonexistent drawers. This could be an artwork titled "Life is beautiful".
It would have been so cool to see a room with all the things organised throughout the whole game. As if we were helping someone to organise their house, and we have accomplished it once we finished the entire game.
The last version of the pens is one I actually saw, the position of the actual clip on each lid. It gradually moves from left to center to right across the pens.
the fourth solution for the pens was the direction that the clip on each cap was facing! The pen on the left’s cap was facing all the way to the left, right pen all the way to the right.
hey Gab, i just started watchimg this and i saw at around 1:00 in you saw the fuzzy stick things( cant think of their name right now) i actually got some fun fact news about them. in the past they were for crafting i remember as a kid i got a pack thinking i could create the creature based on the image on the plastic wrap lol. but recently ive seen them use as minirature curl twist ties for doll projects. they'd wrap the strand of hair around the thing twist down to a pin curl either steam it or boil dip it, let it air dry and it's an instant perm for a kids doll. they may have not had much purpose except to bend, twist, and craft something but they've gotten quite popular for those who collect and restore dolls who need their curls redone or a glow up lol
With the newest dlc im going back on the older vids because i absolutely loved the base game you first played but then forgot about the other dlcs. This game and strange horticulture are my absolute favorites from you ❤

Now you can use them to clean out those reusable straws
They are called chenille-draad in dutch. In case anybody wanted to know.
