Sometimes, I like to watch her videos to sleep. It doesn’t matter what she’s playing, I just watch until I fall asleep. Not because it boring or anything like that, but because her commentary is very soothing and as well as her voice.

I’ve been thinking about playing this with my husband until I saw GAB OF ALL PEOPLE rage. Then I decided maybe this wouldn’t be the best decision for our marriage 😂
I just got the game, and it sure is hard. I beat the first 6 bosses but there are two that I just can't beat. Gab makes it look so easy.
I played through a bit more than half the game with my brother before we got stuck and we didn't bicker at all, mostly because of the mutual understanding that I would be trash at the game anyway and that my brother would have to carry the entire time.
My dad and I got this game a few years back, and we still have yet to finish it 😂 we didn’t argue too much since he usually just let me do all the work after he died in the game
@@soup_lover39 update I have made it to the last boss in inkwell island 3 and afterI beat it I am going to fight king dice, chances are I am not gonna make it through king dice.

i just noticed a really fun detail:
the devil's casino is literally 'on the wrong side of the tracks' as described in the intro since you have to cross the tracks of the phantom express in order to get there (i can't believe i never realized this until now lol)
One thing I always need in my life, new Cuphead play throughs from my favorite tubers. THANK YOOOOUUUUUU!!! I watch the Jack or Mark play throughs like once a month, especially after a few drinks…they are one of my comfort “shows”

My favourite fact about this game is that I'm pretty sure the person singing King dice's theme is a woman, which is incredible that she can sing like that.
I can confirm, it is indeed a woman and she is rocking it!
if you want a shocking voice look up heat above by Greta van fleet, it might not be your favorite type of music, but once you see the singer and hear their voice in comparison its really surprising.
Phenomenal playthrough. Relaxing and rewarding! Found myself pumping my fist every time she beat a boss LOL

I’m reading the secret and just read the part where people if they put out “please don’t do this” the universe reads it as please do this so I found it funny when Gab said “don’t give me the tigers” she immediately got the tigers 😂

@@Lesley_RedRhody yeah it said the universe doesn't hear "don't" or the negative parts of what you're asking or thinking for. I've tested this a few times in my own life even if sometimes my negative thinking wasn't noticed. It's crazy how much our minds affect our everyday lives, so I'm trying really hard to put out more positive thinking and I think reading the book helps. I've also noticed that if you have any doubt in your thinking that it won't work to quickly push it aside and replace with positivity 😅
I've played Cuphead probably about 30 times over by now since it came to Ps4. I actually wanted to play it after seeing Sean's playthrough. I used to suck at it and I thought I'd never beat it. But there's no greater feeling than beating the devil. I can't wait for the DLC!

From someone who only recently started playing Cuphead as well, you’re a natural at it! You seem to pick up the game really quickly. My 200 something failed attempts according to the magic well in world two are a whole lot more than the 32 failed attempts you have. A nice side effect of playing Cuphead and Stardew Valley on the same console is that fishing in Stardew Valley suddenly became easier. Just because of how much I need to master my console in order to play Cuphead.
Edit: I haven’t checked the replies on my comment, but if any of you are trying to correct me that she isn’t playing Cuphead for the first time, yes I realized so as well. For some reason I assumed because of some things she said she was playing Cuphead for the first time. If you were going to correct that, there’s no need to do that anymore. She still did an incredible job though.
she cuts to 1 or 2 failed attempts and then the winning one but still 32 failed in the first world is astounding
this is second time playing, and even though its been a while, the muscle memory is still there
I only had the courage to check the comments now, especially realizing the mistake I made in my original comment. Normally my comments get buried, so I was surprised I somehow got two replies. I was even more surprised I somehow got 37 likes. I purposely waited with actually writing my previous comment, until there was a set in stone way to confirm she picked up the game again rather quickly. I already thought she must have fastforwarded when it came to fighting the bosses.
I don’t have any experience with what it’s like playing the game a second time. This is the first time I’m playing the game. The game is difficult but do-able to me, so far at least. It just takes me hours and tens of tries per boss. The fact the dlc released when I’m playing the game for the first time is sheer luck.

I am so happy that you decided to play cuphead. I recently finished it myself in preperations for the dlc and it's one of my favorite games even though you get angry at some bosses. Do you know if Sean is getting ready for the dlc too cause i'd also love to see the gameplay on his channel :)
39:40 Interesting glitch, here! Djimmi is displaying his third phase (sarcophagus) death message, despite the fact that Gab died in the transition between the first and second phase (chest to pillar stacks), which the game would normally display the second phase!
Even if Gab was playing on Simple difficulty (which she was not), the second phase would still be the stacks, so my guess is that she got the boss to EXACTLY the amount of HP needed for a transition and then died before dealing more damage, and in doing so, the game got confused on which death card the game needed to show, so they just showed a random death card.
I have no idea what I'm talking about, btw, I don't know what happened, just a guess.

Sean’s was the first play through I ever watched of this game. Watching you play it is a lot more calming 😂 but it’s fun to see both of you play such an amazing game.

Those idle animations make me anxious- so frantic! I really love some of the design- especially the onion!
So much love and work has clearly gone into this game - there's even secret phases that show up in certain fights if you do particular things. I've played through the game multiple times and I only just learnt about them from the official artbook :D

I bought this game twice, one in Xbox and the other on Switch. I think I'm gonna need to finish the DLC twice too, I'm pretty sure it will be so good.

It took my son (8yo) a solid year and a half to finish Cuphead, and I was no help, I suck at platforming! I'm amazed at your skill :D
Like yea this is the thing i dont get im a seasoned veteran platformer and this game alone is a real struggle been stuck on island 2 for about 3 days now and died 381 times total its ridiculously hard considering the amount of boss hp compared to our measley 3 hp i think if devs dont address this issue i wont keep playing
