F104 was my first ever RC kit back in 2012. It's hard to control and I trashed it a lot, but it's an extreme fun car and I still have in my room after a decade. It's actually easier to setup, repair, and upgrade compared to touring cars thanks to its simple structure and lower part counts, and it's a lot faster to boot.
When I first saw this cars with Duracell packs I thought "maaan, this batteries must be a little animals to make cars moving like that". Now I see) thanks for info!
Very well said Greg, this was an incredible opportunity but at the end of the day it was about promoting the hobby we love!
Once again, great stuff Greg and thank you for being an ambassador to the hobby.
Awesome Greg, spreading the love of the hobby to millions!
Definitely some great exposure for RC...thank you for being such a great ambassador for all us RC fanatics!
Awesome breakdown of the cars! Go Bradley for that sweet paint jobs!

All I can say... I was jealous! 🤣

Greg
I use Duracell batteries in my radios and haven't had an issue. Sounds like it was a great opportunity for everyone. Like button energized.
Excellent job representing our hobby! Job well done on the builds and show casing the F1 cars.
Awesome rc's and great setups, have a great weekend brother
Grea job. I can't remember seen these cars with receiver batteries. Even in the 80s they had expensive and for us unpayable ESCs.

Super Cool 😎
I live 15 minutes away from that F1 track
its sad to see so many people with there phones out recording the start of that race id rather just stand and watch and take it all in
Man I'm late by 29min.... But here we are... Finally the mistery behind the F1 rc regular battery powered....
The cars were in fact powered by Duracell as well.
@@rcdriver I actually love the idea to have a SPEC-Race where is mandatory to use a separated power for servo and receiver
Where'd you get those Tamiya F104? I've been wanting one
Had them shipped in directly from Japan. But I heard there’s some on the way to the US.
Does Formula1 RC use a 17.5T motor or a 21.5T motor by the rules?
Most use 25.5T. The cars are light and little suspension you don't need alot of motor to be fast.
Nice
I was hoping Duracell would have stepped up their game..people have been putting together battery packs for decades.
Nice
