I did a floor on that idea but I printed up pages that looked like marble andcut into large squares. I painted the floor a gray to simulate grout and glued the squares on the gray floor. It turned out great to my surprise!

@@kimberbell4238 It's still there but I put some flooring over it recently. It seemed to hold up well although it wasn't in a room there there was a lot of traffic. I got the idea of the net where some people were using paper bags and tearing them up and gluing them down. I did like that floor but I have a new home now and it was in an addition. I do know i could take the flooring up and the floor would still look nice.

@@CathyMarsh-j2b Somewhere in my files of pictures I have a pic. You can search the net and find other ways of doing that. You could use old comic pages and a bookstore in town did pages from old books. It is a cool way to do a floor and lots cheaper than buying lino plus it is your own design.

Love All the Creative Ideas ! Several years ago I did something similar to this on a sturdy cardboard box . However , I used thick brown paper bags maybe need to add a little moisture to the bags , torn randomly the scrunched up, the straightened out , glued on to the box an painted over all with the clear glue , it came out looking more -like - leather . If you used maybe a little paint first or in the glue an something to add gloss as I did later with with blue pain an a little glitter . I was so surprised it look so good , as this was just a spur of the moment idea .

On the first one, with the faux stained glass window, I really like that idea, but I wish he would've shown how the sun shines through the colors onto a wall when he was mentioning that.
Unfortunately, I cannot do anything like this on my windows, because I live in an apartment. But maybe there's a workaround to achieve a similar look. I'll have to think about that.

Try it on a small area of window or other glass....if memory serves, it peels off easily enough if coats are thicker, consider that so you don't pick a too elaborate a pattern/design.

Thrift the largest picture frame you can find and use that, then hang it in your window. The process is much easier if you are doing it on a flat surface. If you don't want to make it yourself, Walmart and Amazon both have privacy window clings that let in the light, but cannot be seen through in many pretty patterns. They are completely removable.

@@SunflowerSunflower101 I've been making faux stained art for over 20 years. There used to be a very old cheap brand that used a type of glue as its base and it was discontinued because of the stain. Using straight glue with paint would be even worse. Even without the paint, the glue will crack and shrivel. I mean, anyone who has been a child and has made craft projects knows what happens to glue when its put in the sunlight. I can't believe this channel has so many followers.
