I really like Audrey's face. Her beauty is simple yet very elegant.

I agree with you, she wasn't like Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe or Sophia Loren. Audrey was an approachable beauty and very elegant woman. And she aged so beautifully and naturally (no fillering injections, no botox, or plastic surgeries, just her own skin with wrinkles and sunspots)

Maybe pink in the afternoon wasn’t released to the public until the 80’s. Much like the perfumes you mentioned that were made for her, then released to the public years later.

    1) I don’t think the lipstick that Lisa Eldridge bought was the lipstick that Audrey applies in the film. Similar shades yes, but I believe the makeup department used their own products instead of Audrey using hers. 2) I think it was rather unlike Audrey for Lisa to not share what the brand was and then to go and create her own subpar formula and cash in on the mystery. I usually love Lisa, but I think this was a rather tacky move.

Hey actually I agree that it was rude that Lisa didn’t show what lipstick it was. But I don’t think she was lying. As Lisa Eldridge eventually said it was guerlain. And when I studied the BTS photos of BAT it was a guerlain lipstick. It isn’t made anymore but I cannot remember what shade it was I’m sorry. Also it wasn’t a revlon lipstick. It doesn’t match. And pink in the afternoon was released way later. Plus the lipstick tubes are different. X

pH balancing in lipstick is a bit of a gimmick. Lipstick appears differently based on the person's undertone. Like in the illusions of the same colored circle appearing different shades when compared to a different colored background. The background color is what brings out different hues in the lipstick, which is why skin tone is important when finding makeup

I don’t know why LE won’t share the details of the lipstick. I say this because she released her tribute to the shade almost four years ago. Predictably the lipstick sold out in no time and despite numerous promises to re release it ,she has not to date.
I respect Lisa as an artist and creator, however if she has no intention to restock her shade ,why the mystery???

I agree plastic surgery is used more now but even back then enhancements were used. Monroe had a nose job, chin implant, and hairline moved. It looks as though Audrey had a lot of dental work as her teeth were very crooked at the start of her career. The movie company surgeons seemed to be aiming for natural, realistic work on already very beautiful people so it just enhances what was already in place

@Trinity M lol. Cosmetic procedures are addictive & that hill has a slippery slope. Its one thing when young women copy the latest makeup & fashion trends. Been done since the beginning of time. But now its different. Old woman here who has lived in a college town for 35 years. Since the advent of cell phones, social media, & the Kardashians, every college girl has the same face. If they are doing all these procedures now when they are in their prime, just wait another 20 years when gravity, UV rays, & menopause do their number. I won't be around to see it, though.

When l'Interdit changed their original scent, it was awful, and smelled nothing like the original. They ruined a classic. When I inquired why they would mess with such a beautiful scent, I was told they wanted to make it "more modern". There's already enough stupid "modern" scents out there now for young people.
