bro why does spica always have this nonsense attached to his career 💀
ngl it's who he is, he was just banned from Twitch for calling someone a "dirty Israel rat"
I think Spica needs to be in the LCS
I think the LCS needs Spica to be in it
@@safetoo2000no
There needs to be better support for players from the LCSPA and Riot in situations like this. It's time to unionize.
If Isles is bad they could use threats?
Lol the money is already drying up you just gonna kill the league faster 😂
@@NateO123 💀 dang, trueeee tho
Unioninizing in a dying industry --> Detroitification of league
Dig isnt going to tell Exyu that they are looking to upgrade because they needed him as a backup plan if things fell through with Spica. I know it sucks, but it makes no sense for Dig to let eXyu walk, and then the Spica signing potentially falls through too, and then now they don't have a jungler because eXyu signed somewhere else. Both parties are always going to do whats best for themselves, this is just how business works. You cant expect Dig to compromise their roster to be nice to eXyu. The only thing they could have done better was not promise him that his roster spot was safe. No roster spot is ever 100% secure, so management had no right to tell him that.
4:13 "this might get me a lot of flak for saying it but" and then says the most tame take of all time 💀
its upgrades but exyu did good and did his part in the eco system to get a chance to get promoted its a business so if they want a replacement thats fine but there needs to be a rule where you need to tell your player you are shopping around before you even ask another team for a player this is a big reason why lcs will die the possible talents wont even risk it anymore bc its not worth it might as well be a streamer or get another job.
the sad thing is that exyu got into Berkeley at the age of 16, which he has put on pause ever since, just to get fucked over by the esports industry ..digusting
Was this not his choice?
@@isaiahmorris9197doesn’t make it any less sad
I would love to see this team be made
Remember how cool League used to be back in the day before franchising :(
I’m so sad we don’t have Berserker + Zven bot anymore but we gained another competitive team without losing one. That’s great
I think Zven was a really good ADC who was forced to play a lot of Ezreal and Sivir, which he couldn't play
Can't wait to see a Thorin response to DL and honesty
i mean thats just how team sports go especially competitive thats just how the game is man like someone else said same for working normal jobs just part of life sure feels bad for that guy but whatever hope he can find a place that would love to have him and he can continue to play at the highest level
DL should make a team, imagine having someone at the top of your company that understands your feelings, and struggles entirely.
He could never xD The man has the social skills of a 12 year old boy xD
DL has proven he is not smart outside of league, he's much better off sitting on his (I assume) few millions and continue to be set for life.
TSM?
Him and Leena don’t want to just burn millions on that for no reason
He knows that lcs is a bad venture LOL
Gonna root for DIG for sure.
I know Doublelift says no lawsuit, but this feels like a classic case of Promissory Estoppel. Basically, thatt exyu relied on a promise from Dignitas that cost him money. Even though they didn't have a contract, he relied on them to his own detriment, and now he's losing income for the split and potentially for his career.
I'd strongly suggest he consult an attorney to see if any would take his case.
I'm still gonna be rooting for Dig this year. Spica is my favorite player in the league right now.
Same here. I used to be a TSM fan for about ten years, but when Spica left, I jumped ship with him
Spica was not good last time he was in lcs.
The fly roster just kaboomed around prince, everyone played a part in it but it’s hard to say that it was on any one player apart from prince imo
Where is the NA Players Association in all this?
NA players association 😂😂😂
What would you like them to do?
They don't have power lol
After that really solid season before Spica started wearing the designer brand clothes stuff he was insane. After the Balenciaga he just kind of tanked and hasn't really looked great. He's obviously capable of being great, but almost didn't look LCS caliber the last couple years but who knows with some of those rosters.
Isles is just happy to be there
Yeah, Spica really did need to be on an LCS roster. He’s too good. It will be so interesting to see Sven as adc again though.
3:00 - doublelift you kicked kobbe so you can join tsm in season 10
People forget we went from 10 tier 1 teams and 10 tier 2 teams as options to 8 tier 1 teams and 2 tier 2 teams. Spots are VERY limited.
there are 10 tier 2 teams, only 2 are LCS academy teams though
@@ReddishBocarnity yeah, and those ones not backed by an LCS team do not have sustainable salaries in comparison. Thus, they were excluded.
Isles is my GOAAAAT
DIG sounding a lot like budlight ace CLG from 2021 haha
DIG is feeling pressured to perform
Why do people act like licorice will maintain his form? He was straight up sprinting it worst top in the LCS between the time he left C9 until his most recent year on GG where he was good again
He talked about that too. He was pushed into a leadership role on FLY where he didn't feel comfortable in that role. Once he got on a team that he could just play his game and work with his team, he was great.
Spica has bombed out his last two years, over hyped under delivered every time, let this guy retire and stop tanking teams 😴😴😴
If NA had twice as many teams, there would be more asains than in whole LCK, lol
Immortals should pick him up
A roster that can compete for the LCS title is not really a flex. We need at least one LEC and one LCS team that can compete in international or the pro scene is doomed.
Shopify isn't a team, Shopify is a store front that sponsors Team Rebellion
The team is literally called Shopify Rebellion
@@theear2182 Like Team Liquid is Honda Team Liquid
@@theear2182 Notice how their team logo is an R and not an S
is exYu still being paid?
That what I’m wondering if he still gets paid just stay for free pay
He is not being payed
Licorice is a contender for best western top laner, i don't put any western tops over him. Oh right except Canna.
Licorice was legit the worst toplaner in LCS last time he played he full griefed entire split
They weren't the problem, but they weren't the solution either
Rip the team who bought Spica 😂
Why would I ever take this guys opinions seriously after this MSI?
What happen during MSI?
@@12mulesandy Average doublelift watcher
@@Ken-M ??? I don't watch DL much I'm just curious what drama was there
Can it compete for the title just like BLG was a bad team? This, and more at 7.
FIRSTT
this is why valorant is slightly better, they are a bit kinder with transfer and releases of players
Isles and “really good” should not be in the same sentence
He was really good though, best player on DIG and probably should have been all pro
oh great ... doublelift is having thoughts again ... didnt even know he had the capacity to think
Broke boy is salty 😅
Welcome to the real world?
I'm not saying this is fair, it is definitely unfair. But, this is reality. This is the professional world. The corporate world.
Being good at your job doesn't guarantee anything.
Your company and direct bosses lying to you? Nothing new.
This happens in any/every industry.
This is office politics.
Gotta learn from Bwipo or Caps on how to do it right.
Telling someone they’re a lock in for the season and then telling them 2-4 days later they’re dropped is why LCS deserves to fail and will continue to fail…. I don’t get why we are still talking about LCS to begin with. The region is a lost cause.
yeah they only beat eu big sadge maybe one day they will beat a major region
To be frank dropping players while telling them they are lockins happens in other regions. FNC did it to Trymbi after Worlds, told him he was a lock-in, and then went behind his back and picked up Jun.
@@Asura-Knight This is very normal in the buisness world im shocked that ppl are so offended by this xD Its not a place to be kind and make friends Dig is there to make money xD
Your right that would never happen in eu ever
@@domreto5055eu is equally a joke mate not that big of an achievement for either region. They are just fodder for China/Korea top 2 seeds as safety nets
