At 2:22. Its always easier to start at the bottom of the hill mate.
Think of it like building steps, you don't start at the top.

What made you need to go off whats there? Just curious. I would have pulled it all down, the house was rendered so no courses can be seen from joining on, heights can also be altered if house is rendered. What made you need to go from the old height.

Stu, that is a POS as a retaining wall. Explain why you didn't tie the two teirs of wall together, or damp proof the exterior with at least a joint and a scratch coat for a proper plaster coat below grade?

How about building a sloping wall. There is a viaduct in my village that has walls with beds and perps at a diagonal huge stone blocks. A stone Mason I know had no idea why or how they did it
One b brickwork quarter bond first header queen closer next half bond is wrong but I’m old school been laying bricks 46 years
Why not use the wall starter as a profile on the inside instead of long tailing out

400mm out wtf whoever put the concrete down wants showing the exit and at the start of the video did you honestly just lay brick without a foundation on what looks like a bed of sand and cement?? I can't be sure but there's no visible fountain at the start of the video and I'm guessing you speeded the video up so fast that nobody would ever notice??
