- Ride the historic railroad from Frostburg to Cash Valley on rail bikes, pedaling along the scenic railway. Railbiking is scenic, fun, and not difficult for adventurers of any level. See what railbiking is all about, and join us for a ride from Frostburg to Cash Valley along the Western Maryland Scenic Railway. We also stop at the historic La Vale Tollhouse - built in 1835 as one of the places to collect tolls on the Old National Pike. The Pike was built between 1811 and 1837, and is the first major improved highway in the United States built by the government.
We enjoy traveling to see interesting places, theme parks, and great destinations. Join us for some fun, and new experiences each week, along with our occasional Monorail Monday series featuring behind the scenes history, and stories about working at Disney.
I saw something similar in outskirts of Seoul, Korea. Theirs have a top awning for UV protection. That would be more comfortable if these railroad bikes also had a rooftop awning.

It's a very cool trip, and really didn't require a lot of effort. Fun, and a bit of something different. We were spread out enough that we never felt like we were on a big group tour. Highly recommended.
Hahaha, I'm glad you said there wouldn't be another train along the way. I was a little nervous for you😃 ! Wow, that looks incredibly fun and peaceful. We'll jump an a chance to try this if we ever get the opportunity.... except the cicadas, I might pass on that part, LOL. However, we have plenty of bears up here in Canada. Still think Rail Explorers does it better, although I will say any adventure on the rails is worth doing 💕🤙
