Great video, it seemed like I was right there with you. Have you ever thought about riding the old TTI from Maysville to Paris? Heard it was very scenic.
Were is this? How long was the ride? What happens if you get tired from peddling? Reason I ask have a friend who had a heart attack and would like to take him to do this. I just dont want to be the only one to have to peddle if she to tired..
One of the pedals is electric and it gives you a boost so it’s not as hard. And it’s in Versailles, KY which is just West of Lexington, KY. And if your the only person peddling I would choose the electric one because it does not make you very tired.
@@railfansouth thank you for responding. I did go try it out the one in Rhode Island and unfortunately they don’t have the one with an electric assist 🥹. But the ride I had wasn’t bad mostly flat surface but by the midway my legs did get a big tired but definitely do able to
Since one of the pedals is electric and will give you a boost it’s not that hard to do it. But if your kid wants to pedal but his legs can’t reach you can scoot your chair forward so he can reach or if you need to push it back you can also.
We rode this last fall and wow, better than I expected. It was really great fun!
Now this is the real way to go "off roading!" Beautiful scenery and good exercise. ❤😂
You got that right!
Just recently rode this line and loved it! Can't wait to check out their new West Virginia line!
Nicely done video!
Have fun! And thank you!
This is one of the great things I've watched on UA-cam - if I was in America, I'd love to do this one day. :)
Yes it is such a cool experience!
Thanks for posting this! We’re going in a few weeks and this was a very informative video.
Wow! I hope you have a great time!

No I’ve never heard of that. But it seems like it would be amazing!
Pretty neat wow
Wish this had a no peddle feature
Me too, in my 60's I would NEED a motorized version.
What is the name of this railcar? I might want to do some research before building one myself
Welcome to my neck of the woods lol
I'm curious how easy/hard the pedaling would be. There has to be hills right?

Bring it to Philly

Dont find out its not abandonned, the hard way!
Haha I sure hope not lol😂
Its the Bluegrass Scenic Railway its still in service. the BSR organized the railbike thing.
What if you can’t peddle anymore ?
One of the seats are electric so it gives you a boost. It does not make you that tired at all.

Recommend smaller kids who can’t peddle yet?
