Seeing a lure with hooks like that brings me back to my childhood. When treble hooks fell apart on my old lures, I would replace them with the only hooks I had, J hooks.

I love to see young kids getting it done. Every chance I get I bring one of my sons or a kid from the neighborhood. I started bringing my niece when she was 9 years old. She loves fishing so much she chose a college along the Texas coast so she could fish every chance she gets.

In Australia we call them GT either golden travally or giant travally this seems to be a mix between the two from where I'm from. Top fish mate well done 💯💯
It’s kind of ridiculous how some people treat Jacks as “trash fish” when people spend $10,000s to travel across the world to catch GTs. Sure, Crevall Jacks don’t get as big but they’re still basically the same thing and fight extremely hard on medium tackle. I love them, they’re 100% a game fish in my eyes
