You would still have to do core parking with 3D V-cache on two CCDs because the issue is the access times to the V-cache cross CCD. The only workloads that would benefit from double V-cache on desktop are workloads that are cache-sensitive but not latency-sensitive.

I filed to the FTC as well regarding the ASRock phantom 7900 XTX regarding the hotspot heating issue. I attempted to reapply paste which did nothing. End result being improper contact with the heatsink. My RMA resulted in them saying I couldn't break the sticker to apply the paste. I called them multiple times for management to discuss the legality of the sticker and was ghosted. So I submit a report with all emails. The XTX is good on Alphacools waterblock. Watercooling turning a loss to a win.
I also have ASRock Phantom 7900XTX. Hotspot on air was terrible hot. I was planning to watercool it right away, so it ran on air for about a week. With alphacool waterblock everything is cool. I wouldn't choose Phantom if I would leave it air-cooled.
The administration's incompetence and corruption are becoming increasingly absurd. I feel horrible for people with disabilities who aren't getting the support they require. Thank you Leah Foster Alderman. Imagine investing $1.5k and receiving $6.5k in four days.
It’s probably the same reason they didn’t do it on the last gen, the 3D cache didn’t help on the second chip and increased heat, cost and lowered the speed of the chip. So having it on one and not the other is the optimal way to configure it.

I wish that more people would just give AMD Graphics Cards a chance. They are so good for the amount of money you pay. They haven't had massive driver issues in years. I've been daily driving a 6700XT for two years and have had a flawless experience.
The 7900 xt 20gb is like #5 benching card rn and open boxes can be found on ebay for like 600$ best value to $ on market hands down, Nvidia slowing down older gpus and taking away features to force upgrades. I only buy Nvidia used(to avoid them getting a cut) and amd new, amd new gpus are best value for dollar, yes they had rough release in drivers for 7000 series but they are screaming now, several customers so happy with their 7900xt and 7900xtx for 4k gaming monster machines
5700xt and 6600xt are like best gpus under 150-175$ as well, the 5700xt despite being outclassed in all departments gets same fps averages as 1080ti 11gb or pascal titan 12gb, they got those lower end cards so nice these days and ppl are hating because they dont know any better

Noctua just released a cooler specifically for Intel's bent CPUs and now Intel fixes the issue after so many years just in time to make those Noctua coolers obsolete lol
The bent CPUs will still be in circulation for about 5 more years until they become obsolete... I mean, any recent Intel desktop chip was obsolete the moment it was cut from the wafer but some people will hold onto them.

Maybe AMD's 9000X3D chips will have the 3D V-cache on the IO die, it would allow the CCDs to clock higher and would work as a kind of L4 cache, then the 12 and 16 cores chips wouldn't have issues with the v-cache and os scheduler
What's your opinion on intel gpus. I daily drive one and the only problem i have experienced ray tracing causing problems with geometry with halo infinte. But other than that, I have had an amazing experience with it.
I would just carefully peel and reapply the sticker while the card is warm. It worked, at least for the 2 times i had to RMA a card. AFAIK, every card manufacturer from XFX, BFG,EVGA, PNY, etc, has done this at some point or another.
It sucks they aren't having X3D on all CCDs considering the rumors the lower frequency issue to do with voltage and X3D has been fixed. No reason to buy anything that isn't the 9800X3D for the X3D line. 9950X seems a safe bet I guess.

This problem is NOT on CPU, It is about game engine softwares. All cores should get 3D caches.

Isn’t core parking beneficial for gaming? One of the issues with dual CCD is latency and this decreases gaming performance.
