Hey great video! Love how you finish highlighting that the experience is positive. I'm very close to buying a 720s performance spider and so can't wait!
For me I love the looks and the acceleration. The storage is obviously a plus, but the bummer for me is the sound. It just doesn't sound as good or loud as its rivals.
@@BoostITFORward Sorry, I didn't mean to suggest you purchasing one because I know how big of a financial decision that is. Of course, I care about you as a follower and wish you make the best decisions that yields the largest return on your investment. I'm just wishing you can grab one from a friend or a dealer and do a review of it here on the channel.
Thank you! I worked in the automotive industry for 20 years. I quit about 2 years ago and currently manage my wife’s business and have had my hands tied in various investments for almost 2 decades. 👍
BoostITFORward Right on. Yeah I’m always curious how people make there money. Having these cars puts you in a nice income bracket. Lol So impressed with the McLaren man. I wish I lived closer we could do a roll race against my TT Mustang. Lol
No need. After you understand what fails, that will fly away. Mclaren already fixed the 2 worse, the coolant pipe rubbing to a rupture and the foam thing. Right now you have 2 problems that can mess up everything hard, intake inlet that has a bit that comes off inside and fcks the turbo and might fck more if it passes the ic, easy fix, either get the new mclaren revised one, plastic weld the part and use a good heat resistant glue, or get the upgraded bit. The other is a common problem literally in every single v8 twin turbo car on sale today, headgaskets, mclaren has the triple layer one, it will hang. The reason for failure is the thermostat that lets the coolant boil before it opens as it is a 100 degree celcius as in pretty much any new car. Find a 90c one and it will prevent a LOT of pointless wear by heat and need for new gaskets in the future. The other one is a common problem in literally any car with them, accumulators. Car will drive well, but it will be less comfortable, Mclaren already had 3 or 4 iterations, they are getting better, but see it as a consumable.
Man that’s a hell of a reply thanks for taking the time. I’m looking at the 720s for my next ride on my way to a Koenigsegg. I have a 2020 AMG GTR roadster right now and I love it.
So I learned that if you hold the AERO button for 10 seconds while parked it will lower the wing, its taking time to drain the fluid out of the wing to bring it down
Great video. I'm looking at getting a 720. I have a new NSX now and love it but looking at adding another fun car. How much room does it have? I'm 6'5" think I will fit?
Just watched your video Good job But you can lower the rear wing Car running Press Active mode Press and hold aero for at least 5 seconds Wing will lower I do it on mine regularly The manual also shows it I it
you seriously need to check with Pablo, i think he may disagree with some of your negative comments. Lol...nothing in life is perfect, but you have a Gorgeous car and you know it. are you planning on buying the 765 LT ?? love your video's Bro.
Fadi you tried almost all The FAST platforms ( 991 Turbo S / Twin Turbo Huracan / GTR ) , which has the most potential ? Which 1’s your choice to go fast ?
To go fast, the TT Huracan is the best, but you’ll ALWAYS deal with downtime, invoices, tuner BS, etc. the 720S is the best car I’ve owned to date. Excited to get back into another one once the prices normalize.
@@BoostITFORward Your a champ , have you ever noticed That ppl who TT a Huracan will cheap out and not do clutches or a diff , and guys who have serious GTRs go all out i can never understand that , would you consider trying The Viper platform , it seems like the fastest once you can use all the torque yet in real world condition ppl aren’t gonna roll from 160 , you probably get one build it then return it to stock and make some of your cashback , best of luck i love that license plate
Yes, many people cheap out and those people will always experience problems sooner than later. But ultimately, these builds will almost always end up problematic regardless of build. It’s just the nature of the game. Same with the Viper or any highly modified platform. I am gonna stick with stock cars from now on. No more headaches! Cheers!
Great review Fadi . I discovered the same dislikes as you did . Brake pedal feel is super weird comparing to my R8 , seat controls suck bad . The other issue for me was [ How the hell do I put this car in parking ? ]. Had to Google it LOL.
Im in the group, wasnt sure if i should let u know there or here. Got lazy so commented here hahaha. But yeah everything else spot on. Im surprised about the steering wheel issue, ima have to chrck mine tomorrow.
Hey Bryan....none whatsoever so far, but I do play by the rules. Always wait for the car to warm up before revving it past 3k RPMS, the car is always on the trickle charger if it’s not driven, even for a day. The wing is always down when parked, etc. idk if any of these things are contributing to the well behavior of the car thus far, but I was told on the forums that the electronics don’t freak out when these precautions are taken. 👍
@@BoostITFORward thanks. I was recently car shopping and this was on the short list. I ultimately went another way with an extremely rewarding car to drive but where we come from I don't think it's fast enough lol. I was concerned about all the issues i heat and my nearest dealer being 6+ hours away. This and the 600lt still linger in my mind though.
Got ya. I saw a Blue one in town today and wasn’t sure who it was. Awesome man, you’ll love the car! If you have any questions about it reach out to me. Message me on IG (same name as here)
Just from watching different videos I can tell you my biggest dislike is the steering wheel. It looks cheap. Like something you'd find in a $12,000-$15,000 car. Not a $400,000 car.
I just purchased the 2022 McLaren GT. The steering wheel with the forged aluminum is absolutely breathtaking and classy looking. Can not believe the steering wheel here. I would be pissed!
Ya, a few things need some attention from McLaren. One of the other gripes is it’s 13 gal gas tank. Ok so you disgrace a Ferrari on the freeway but now you need gas!
McLaren well known for trash interiors and he not even mentioned that car barely had LCD touch screen. Also, it's camera backup so outdated. McLaren only for middle class struggle to get sport car for show down (instead of show off).
Someday one of those miniaturized humans called children will appear near your wife and almost immediately you will appreciate the wing isn't moving down when the car is stationary.
I like your vids, but making 720s vids is probably not gonna draw that much viewers after Dragtimes who has made a gazillion different vids with his. :)
Damn that steering wheel with the carbon fiber part moving around amazing

Put a set of down pipes on it and it gets rowdy! Lol. But ya, in stock form it’s not in the top of its class like the looks and performance.
@@BoostITFORward Agree

Definitely going to be my next ride, or the 765 lt. The unreliability issues scary to me so for now I will hold on to my 991 turbo . Great vid
Thank you. So far, I haven’t had any concerning reliability issues. We will see how the next 5K miles go. 911 turbo is 👌

The rear spoiler can't be lowered when stationary for safety reasons (get things stuck in between like fingers...)

Btw great video, didn't really drag unlike most videos related to these type of cars
The penny in the cup holder triggered me. Hate when people leave loose change out in the open in their cars.

Good job
But you can lower the rear wing
Car running
Press Active mode
Press and hold aero for at least 5 seconds
Wing will lower

Got my dream car bro, just subbed!

Brakes probably need a little heat to work as they are intended. Love the car
Even with heat in them it doesn’t matter. It’s just the braking mechanism on this car. But whatever, it is what it is. :)
I have ccb on R8. Very much binary/on and off especially when cold. That said, it stops sooo quick.
shouldn't the wing be able to close by hand?
The one that i am driving today has no way to adjust the seat. other than forward and back. But you cannot recline
how are cam phasers ? any issues yet ?
Any update? These are 200 flat now, but after 2 blown motors on the viper, i dont want another car that sits ar the shop
Wing up: why did you manually put it up in the first place?

@@derekk5992 Yeah how exactly do you park with a 720s??? Do you know?
You don’t put it in park. You just shut the car off and the E-brake comes on. There is no “park” feature.
Supposedly all McLarens break feel similar, and i’ve heard say that “its a race car thing”.
They are hard to press.
Braking is like that on my 650s too. I moved the seat up a little and it's a lot better lol
You lower the wing by holding down the aero button for ~5s dude

It’s great. Very easy to use and touch screen sensitivity is just right.
I think McLaren did the carbon trim on steering wheel on purpose. Its aero dynamic function.
I love it in white
Regarding the Carbon Ceramic brakes: All carbon ceramic brakes need heat before they reach their optimum performance!

Ur brake issue is ur carbon ceramics , if u heat them up really well they will bite

and the seat controls, its HORRIBLE lmao
