I Deleted the Player's Choice Version of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Box Art cover to get the Black Spine Label Version of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on GameCube
Top 3 favorite, or at least noteworthy titles to me being: Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, and Luigi's mansion. All the zelda titles too are exceptional as well. Gamecube has always been that one console I really enjoyed, but never got that chance to really explore the library of games back during it's lifespan. I give you major props for being able to complete the entire collection.
Games I recommend owning: Day of Reckoning 1 and 2, King Kong, Mario kart DD, Crush hour, 007 night fire, MOH frontline and rising sun, Super Mario Sunshine, Hitman 2, Ultimate Spiderman, Wrestlemania 18 and 19, and goldeneye rouge agent.
My top 3 Gamecube games would be: Path of Radiance, Pokemon Colosseum (love XD Gale of Darkness too), and Medabots Infinity. I'm glad to see my copy of Medabots in the pan across the games; it's a wonderful resting place for one of my favorite childhood games. Congratulations again for completing the NA collection, Stephen!
Quite the impressive collection! I'm considering collecting all the PS2 titles myself, but I would probably just shoot for discs, and not worry about box art and manuals too much.
I read somewhere that the Wii U only has around 160 physical releases in North America. Could be an easy one if you get the itch to collect another library in the future.
Awesome Nintendo Game Cube collection. Congrats on completing the set. I went for a complete North American original Xbox set as well as a complete Platinum Hits and Best of Platinum Hits sets. I have all of the black labeled games followed by the Platinum Hits and then ending with best of Platinum hits.
GameCube was my childhood. We got one when I was 1, and it was my console of choice until we got our 2nd Wii when I was 9 and the first Wii took the GameCube's spot in the basement. Top 3 in no particular order: Metroid Prime 1 and 2, and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Im collecting a full PAL set of Gamecube, im currently at 217. The way PAL works is that we also had some dual sets wich had two games that were also released seperately, hence why this and one of the bootlegs are the ones i wont collect.
Can't help but be reminded of my own goal whenever you mention this. My goal is completely unrelated though: visiting all Dutch train stations (and taking photographs). I'm more than 75% of the way there, with only three more provinces to round off.
I know it's a nitpick and not my collection, but the fact that Spyro Enter the Dragonfly is after Spyro A Hero's Tail which is a sequel to EtD bothers me but still so cool that you have all of the games!
I maybe wrong and super late but I didn't see "beyblade super tournament battle". Could be both a NA and a Japanese release but again might be wrong on that.
Do you think that when we get to GameCube Classic (When, not if), do you think that they might increase the maximum number of titles to compensate for the lack of re-releases of these games over the years? Perhaps 5, 10 more games?
1. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door 2. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 3. Metroid Prime Honorable Mentions: Star Fox Assault and Star Fox Adventures
Man I love the gamecube. I think it was the console I have the most games for because there are so many quality games! Edit: oh and top 3 gamecube games: Pikmin, Chibi-Robo, Zelda: The Wind Waker. (This was hard to choose, but I think these are the games I've played the most as a kid.)
It sort of sounds like you're saying "Now that I've completed the Pokedex, let's try to find one of each SHINY Pokemon!" For the question... I think I need to play some more Gamecube games to know for sure, but my favorite for the Gamecube is Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Melee is up there, and Mario Party 4 is nostalgic for me. Haven't finished Wind Waker, but I would like it if the Forsaken Fortress wasn't a garbage-tier Zelda dungeon. I feel like I need to play Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Mario Parties 6 & 7, and many a few other titles to know for sure.
Hey Stephen a bit of info on the Pac-Man Vs game. It's actually the players choice version of Pac-Man World 2 in which case came with a free copy of Pac-Man Vs. You can buy Pac-Man Vs separate, it just would come in like a little cardboard case kinda like Wii Sports. But you can go online to thecoverproject.net and someone uploaded a custom case with the player's choice removed from the Pac-Man Vs and Pac-Man World 2 combo pack and it's black label that you can download. Just thought I'd let you know man. Keep up the good work.
My top three GCN games are: 1. Super Smash Bros. Melee Logged the most hours on this, and it only gets better with the boundaries that have been pushed by pro players. 2. Resident Evil 4 I wish this stayed an exclusive like it was originally supposed to be but it was too good to stay on GCN. This game got me into Resident Evil, and Mercenaries has endless amounts of fun. 3. Phantasy Star Online: Episodes I & II This is the game that really love dungeon crawling with friends. When I was playing it with my brother and two neighbors, we memorized the enemy patterns and spawns like we had a hand in designing the game. I still remember the music, the support mage I used, and all the long sessions trying to get rare weapons.
I at some point want to get every Nintendo 64 and Nintendo Gamecube game. Not just PAL versions but also those released in the US and Japan that we didn't get
Did I just see 3 copies of Metroid Prime? If one of those is the original US release I may be willing to buy it off of you or make an exchange. I only have the "players' choice" version which actually has some minor changes. They supposedly made the room loading code more robust (but slower) so you can't crash the game by going from room to room to fast. I still managed to crash the game by traversing a connecting hall too quickly, though, so I'm not so sure about that. One of the more noteworthy changes they made was to make it harder to sequence break at the beginning of the game. In the original release you could lock on to something in the starting room on Tallon IV with the scan visor and then dash sideways while (ab)using the extra jump height the game gives you near the ship to get onto a ledge you're not supposed to be able to get to until later - giving you early access to the space jump (a double jump). In the later release (the "players' choice" version) they made it much more difficult to do this. As for my favorite GameCube games: the Metroid Prime games, Paper Mario TTYD, and F-Zero GX (sorry I couldn't just pick 3 :P).
For a sec I thought Roland had exclusive deals with Nintendo before remembering that how they label their best selling titles. I'm sure he enjoy the subliminar ad for his store.
Awesome stuff Stephen, I'm still working towards 100% PAL Gamecube games myself (as I am an EU boy) One concern I have is not knowing of a game existing, and am wondering if there is a source out there that correctly knows all Gamecube games in existence and doesn't miss any.
1 Wind waker possibly one of my most prized games amongst all of video games 2. Colosseum 3. Sunshine all very good games aside from some of the not supposed to go at an angle sunshine parts
My top 4 GameCube games in no particular order: - Chibi-Robo - Luigi's Mansion - Tales of Symphonia - Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker I never had it growing up despite really wanting it, and I got Wii first, so to me Twilight Princess is a Wii game 😓
Stephen will have a child one day and upon his death his "Will" shall say, " I bestow upon my child, [name redacted], my entire collection of video games. " Child then sees an entire 48 foot trailer truck filled to the absolute brim with games arrive at their house.
I haven't played much Gamecube due to how few decent/affordable games for that console that come through my local retro game store but my top 3 are Super Monkey Ball, Crazy Taxi, and Tony Hawk's Underground 2. Also, besides Super Nintendo what other systems would you want to complete? I personally think Wii would be fun since it's kinda cheap and there's some weird stuff in there. Gameboy would be cool too.
Super Nintendo (carts only because aaaaaaaaggh expensive cardboard) is definitely the highest priority, but I'd love to work on Wii and Wii U in the near future. Game Boy is definitely of interest to me as well, and I pick up those from time to time, too.
Not really, no. I think they can make some really cool displays (I know some people hang them up on the wall), but we're already crammed for room as is, so I'll probably be sticking to strictly games.
My top 5 (just because there's quite a few good ones) GameCube games are probably: 1. Pikmin 2 2. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 3. Super Mario Sunshine 4. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door 5. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
Now that's you've finished the regional 'Dex, you're gonna complete the National 'Dex, huh? What about game variants, like JPN Luigi's Mansion and JPN Wario World? I imagine First20 will have plenty of Gamecube requests. I'll vote for either Nascar Dirt to Daytona or Rayman 3. Nah, WarioWare! I'd be down to see what you think of WarioWare! I could never do a complete library of games. Instead, I just make a list of games to keep an eye out for that I'd want to sit down and play. The best part of a personal library to me is seeing how the objects tie into the curator and who they are. My top three Gamecube games? WarioWare Inc: Mega Party Games, Animal Crossing (especially because of that sick password system), and Sonic Mega Collection. I've 100% completed Sonic 3 & Knuckles on just so many different platforms, both as individual games and as the combined game. It's very much my favorite 2D Sonic, aside from the Tiny Chao Garden games.
Top 3 favorite GCN games have to be Mario Kart Double Dash!! Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness And Backyard Sports 2007. Double Dash, even though as a kid I was never as good as I am now, I still had a blast with how fun I could make every game... That monster in Dry Dry Desert is the reason I always lost that final cup.. Scared me like you wouldn't belive. Gale of Darkness was my very first Pokemon Game Ever. That may have been a bad thing as that game really set my standards high for the series and since then have never been met. Backyard baseball... Yeah I played it a lot but honestly It's the one I remember the least right now. I bet if I found another copy I would have more to say but I remember as a kid I would play it every afternoon after I did homework.
I haven't collected for a single system, but I do have a rather large collection of Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons titles. I haven't enjoyed the newer entries into the series as much, so it isn't up to date, but prior to that I'm only missing a few games (Harvest Moon for SNES and Gameboy 2 and 3.) cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/230091844791304212/463782605746339840/image.jpg (Owned but not pictured: Rune Factory 3, Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley, and Harvest Moon: Light of Hope.) I've updated my game collection link in the description to reflect the Player's Choice titles! It'll differentiate between black and yellow labels now.
I'm sorry Stephen, what you're saying is interesting and all but I just can't help but stare at that collection of Deal or No Deal for the Nintendo DS behind you
Stephen has the 100% save file, but not that 110% save file.
ThePhenomenalEX Stephen "110%" Georg
The year is 2350, Stephen has now half done collecting all of the PC games released throughout history
Subjecttochange Also with awesome facial hair not shaved since November 2018
He has literally uploaded his consciousness into the internet and is now a program actively scanning the internet for video games.
GameCube has a lot of quality games
Agree :D
Dang, I'm curious about how the facial hair will look by the end of the month. Keep it up! Also congrats on the Gamecube collection!
I Deleted the Player's Choice Version of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Box Art cover to get the Black Spine Label Version of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on GameCube
Happy to have contributed that Mario party 7!
Top 3 for me would be Paper Mario TTYD, Wind Waker, and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
Just add Mario Sunshine and I 100% agree
Top 3 favorite, or at least noteworthy titles to me being: Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, and Luigi's mansion. All the zelda titles too are exceptional as well.
I saw a few Video Game Heaven pirce tags on the shelf there. Great store.
Top 3 GC games for me right now are probably Baten Kaitos (first one), Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and Mario Sunshine
I do have to say the shelves with all of those games looks very sexy especially knowing all the North American GameCube games are there
Well *dang* Congratulations Stephen :) *&* MalMaker
Ohhh top three Gamecube games... Maybe Thousand Year Door, Pikmin, and Tales of Symphonia?
Top 3? 1. PEGGY, 2. AMAZING, 3. ISLAND. Enough said :)
I know it's a nitpick and not my collection, but the fact that Spyro Enter the Dragonfly is after Spyro A Hero's Tail which is a sequel to EtD bothers me but still so cool that you have all of the games!
Top three Gamecube games for me are Thousand Year Door, Killer7, and Kirby Air Ride.
My top 3 are: Animal Crossing, Wind Waker, and SSX Tricky. Honorable mentions to Tony Hawk’s Underground 1 & 2 and Mario Kart Double Dash.
Have fun collecting for Wii, so much shovel wear.
Top 3 GC Games?
1. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
2. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
3. Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom
Wooooo
Congratulations on getting all the gamecube games
Personally, I'd _love_ to collect the GameCube demo discs, mainly because I have fond memories of them.
BEARD STEPHEN! HIS POWER IS UNMATCHED!
Top 3 faves on the GameCube are "Tales of Symphonia", "Super Mario Sunshine", and "Zelda: The Wind Waker".
I maybe wrong and super late but I didn't see "beyblade super tournament battle". Could be both a NA and a Japanese release but again might be wrong on that.
Top three GameCube games: paper Mario: thousand year door, melee, Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem.
Top 3 Gamecube Titles. this is my childhood. Luigi's Mansion (favorite game of all time), Pac-Man world 2, and Super Mario Sunshine
I had backyard sports..... I have absolutely no idea where it went along with my game cube. It's somewhere in the northwest
Do you think that when we get to GameCube Classic (When, not if), do you think that they might increase the maximum number of titles to compensate for the lack of re-releases of these games over the years? Perhaps 5, 10 more games?
Sometimes the greatest hits/players choice version of a game is actually more rare so I'm not sure why they're always cheaper.
I love these types of videos. But i also love you stephen.
1. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
2. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
3. Metroid Prime
Honorable Mentions: Star Fox Assault and Star Fox Adventures
Man I love the gamecube. I think it was the console I have the most games for because there are so many quality games!

1) Mario Party 7
2) Super smash Bros. Melee
3) Pokemon Colosseum
I have 3 sisters so most GCN games I played were multiplayer.

I'd really love to collect all Gameboy Advance games for NA one day. That was my favorite handheld growing up.
My top three GCN games are:
1. Super Smash Bros. Melee
Logged the most hours on this, and it only gets better with the boundaries that have been pushed by pro players.

Me collecting for Xbox in a nutshell.
I at some point want to get every Nintendo 64 and Nintendo Gamecube game. Not just PAL versions but also those released in the US and Japan that we didn't get
I love GameCube I hope they might bring some GameCube Games to Switch in Hd collections or on the virtual console
Ive always wanted to collect n64 games but fo not know where to start
What is the exact number of North American releases? Looking to complete a full set.
I'd say Pokemon Colosseum, Melee, and Custom Robo.
Did I just see 3 copies of Metroid Prime? If one of those is the original US release I may be willing to buy it off of you or make an exchange. Stephen how do you buy covers man? My GameCube library covers are in horrible condition. Would really like to buy some covers.
1.) Zelda Windwaker
2.) Super Mario Sunshine
3.) Paper Mario TYD
Wheres Pokemon Box for gamecube ?
Are you going to take the price tags off of the cases, or is there a reason you've left them?
Backyard Sports: Baseball is actually really fun. I had it for the ps2 as a kid.
And favorite gamecube games? Barnyard for the nintendo gamecube three times
1 Wind waker possibly one of my most prized games amongst all of video games 2. Colosseum 3. Sunshine all very good games aside from some of the not supposed to go at an angle sunshine parts
amazing video,,and u are a hero,,,plz continue
Windwaker, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.
My top 4 GameCube games in no particular order:
- Chibi-Robo
- Luigi's Mansion
- Tales of Symphonia
- Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
I never had it growing up despite really wanting it, and I got Wii first, so to me Twilight Princess is a Wii game 😓
My favorite games from GameCube are zoids battle legends digimon rumble arena 2 and Pokémon xd gale of darkness
Stephen will have a child one day and upon his death his "Will" shall say, " I bestow upon my child, [name redacted], my entire collection of video games. "

1- Mario Party 4
2- TLoZ Twilight Princess
3- Amazing Island
Are you going to do another console next year or even the year after that if you need a break
7:39
Do you have any interest in collecting all the different colors of consoles/controllers? N64, GameCube, etc.?
Not really, no. I think they can make some really cool displays (I know some people hang them up on the wall), but we're already crammed for room as is, so I'll probably be sticking to strictly games.
Uhhhh...I think you're gonna need a bigger house or at least more shelves...
MajorKerina or both 😂
1. Super Mario Sunshine
2. Luigi’s Mansion
3. Wind Waker
My top 5 (just because there's quite a few good ones) GameCube games are probably:
1. Pikmin 2
2. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
3. Super Mario Sunshine
4. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
5. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
Top three favorite Gamecube titles? Hm... Wind Waker, Path of Radiance, and Thousand Year Door. Easy!
Super Smash Bros Melee, Double Dash, and Mario Party 7
What do you mean by player choice titles ?
Top 3 favorite GCN games have to be Mario Kart Double Dash!!
Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness
And Backyard Sports 2007.
Does no shave November count no haircuts
I have a perfect copy of the sum of all fears game with case and manual willing to send it to you if you don't have it!!!
I haven't collected for a single system, but I do have a rather large collection of Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons titles. I haven't enjoyed the newer entries into the series as much, so it isn't up to date, but prior to that I'm only missing a few games (Harvest Moon for SNES and Gameboy 2 and 3.) cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/230091844791304212/463782605746339840/image.jpg (Owned but not pictured: Rune Factory 3, Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley, and Harvest Moon: Light of Hope.) I also have four different preorder bonus plushies. cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/230091844791304212/463785897536651274/image.jpg
Which Player's Choice titles do you have?
I've updated my game collection link in the description to reflect the Player's Choice titles! It'll differentiate between black and yellow labels now.
Whoa that's a lot of gamecube games 😎
Are You gonna complete wii games as well?
Daniel Nguyen imagine all the shovelware
I've seen someone who has (well, in a video).
It's about 4 times more space
I wonder if Stephen is still going to upload the stream footage, cuz I imagine I'm not the only one who missed most/part of it 🤔
I'm sorry Stephen, what you're saying is interesting and all but I just can't help but stare at that collection of Deal or No Deal for the Nintendo DS behind you
I have all the Players Choice games, but not the whole library lol
But what’s the next console
The next thing I'll likely aim to complete is Wii, but it's going to be a while before that happens.
Waiting for the day we get to see the road trip 💔
1st: Tales of Symphonia
2nd: Fire Emblem Path of Radiance
3rd: Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door
I really enjoy RPGs
Wait, no, Stephen! If you complete your life long goal, what more will you have to look forward to?
I only owned 3 gamecube games as a kid so
1. Lego Star Wars 2
2. Lego Star Wars
3. Spongebob Creature from the Krusty Krab
I pretty much had those for the Wii, albeit the Complete Trilogy for the LEGO Star Wars. Pretty much is both the games but as one
Going for the greatest hits ain't worth it if adventure island isn't one Stephen :p
Are you going to get a PAL/Japanese Gamecube console or is it region free?
They're region-locked, but you can just buy a Freeloader disc to enable PAL/JP titles on a US GCN.
1. Animal Crossing
2. SSB
3. Wind Waker💨 ⛵️
If you don’t have Kururin Squash I might be able to hook you up when I go to my parents’s house for christmas
you ever hear of thecoverproject.net ?
