I actually really dig the first family - they're not hurting the kids - they all seem well fed and happy. The food is gorgeous. They're still learning and growing in homeschool. Plus they get the added experience of the farm and responsibility. I think it's great!

I actually really dig the first family - they're not hurting the kids - they all seem well fed and happy. The food is gorgeous. They're still learning and growing in homeschool. Plus they get the added experience of the farm and responsibility. I think it's great!

Other than that I think her parenting style is fine, but if they want to have certain jobs, not going to school will affect what kind of job they want to get. I believe that children should learn things to s certain point, like the basics and stuff. But let’s be honest- we do not need trigonometry learning how plants live? If that’s what you want to study than do it. But we should be learning about how the world works, and taxes, and construction, and what to do if your car stops working! Not sitting in a classroom for 8 hours a day being told unless you get an A, you’re not good enough and you just should try harder till you’re overworked and then eventually depressed.
What is with people😂 You should have a basic knowledge of math, science, history, English. Just because its not youre thing, you can get better at it. I didn't like reading, avoided it most of my life and now my vocabulary is terrible. I can't carry on an intellectual conversation. It limits you.

The first family, that is my ideal way of living… away from society and teaching my children real life as well as education according to what I feel they need and being able to support myself living off my own land. I would worry about my kids feeling isolated though.. that’s the only thing. Other than that, I love it.
The first family: Raising them that way is kind of cool. But if they do go out into the world that naive.. it could be dangerous for them.
Also, hitting the puberty stage is inevitable. How does that work if they choose not to go to the city and want to date or have kids? I've seen too many cult-like/religious documentaries where the brothers' first love was their sister.
