  • Installing the new cylinder liners on the John Deere as mention in the last video had to spend a lot of time cleaning the inside of the block. #1 and #2 went fine, but #3 and #4 did not want to go in, finally pressed them in. And then on to the pistons with a new surprise, need to hone the wrist pin bushings.... yah can't wait....

    Thanks a lot for making the video. Now I can order my liners rings and change it to stop cooling liquid get in the mortoroil. Have a nice day

      Yea that’s never good if you have coolant getting in the oil!

    What’s the torque sequence on the main bearing and rod bearing

    I am sure by now you have the job done. Seems you need to " ream " those bushings to fit the pins. Just found your channel. Liked.

    Yea should have seen that 1 coming ,lol
    I wonder if it's John deer or what, seems nothing Posta fit or they change sompin that is old ! haha
    I could see if it was under 5 years old, but sompin this old they should just fit and every body has the same parts !

      This a reliance kit, not from John Deere, not sure if John Deere would be any different?

    Take the rods to a local machine shop. They can do the bushings for you

      Going to do them ourselves just need to get a small hone

    You need to heat some rods to get the pins in I'm sure you're using a manual to do this

      Nope only a basic manual, has some details on the motor but not enough!

      Hey there I have same motor I'm doin now but can't seem to find proper torque. What did u torque your con rod bolts and head bolts too ?
