    You should check out the song "Doomsday" by them next. Tom was in the middle of writing it when he died and that's reflected in the lyrics. Incredibly powerful and one of the best metalcore songs of all time.

    When you go on to learn more about the band and their history with the death of Tom, i feel its my duty to say that Tom was responsible for writing much of the lyrics which Architects were famed for. My personal favourite being "Gone with the wind" which features lyrics deeply personal in his coming to terms with his diagnosis.
    The final 2 lines of the track utterly killed me while i saw them live early last year.
    "I remember when you said to me
    "My friend, hope is a prison""

    • @Joseph-R
      @Joseph-R 11 днів тому +3

    "These Colours Don't Run" is a golden oldie with fantastic lyrical content & lyric video to boot that would be cool to see your thoughts on. Architects hardly ever pull any punches with what they're trying to say with every song & if I remember correctly Tom was also the primary lyricist for a lot of their material as well as being the primary songwriter/composer up until his unfortunate passing. Truly an inspiring presence within the world of modern metal & he will never be forgotten. ❤🤘
