Thank you, my dads passed away and he took me fishing alot as a kid but only taught me how to cast the kind of pole that has a button since I was so young. Now a single mom to a 4 yr old boy and taking him to a cabin for a weekend and out on a boat to fish. Bought a spinning reel rod but didn't know how to cast it. Thanks so much
This is a bad video; it doesn't follow the rules for instructional videos. There's no loud annoying music; there's no irrelevant information about the speaker; the speaker speaks plainly and clearly; it presents all relevant information and only relevant information; and in general it presents information efficiently without wasting the viewer's time. It violates all UA-cam rules and customs for instructional videos.
SO many instructional videos are just junk, even if they eventually tell you what to do. This one isn't junk, and so it deviates from the norm - no annoying music, no endless talk; you learn what to do and then it finishes.
Totally love spinning reels, the only reels that i will use when i do my trout fishing.who doesn't love catching trout, the best fish to catch. Well besides crappies
Bought a Shakespeare rod today, took it out and got nothing but tangles from the very first cast. Been fishing for about 12 years now and have never NOT gotten to drop a single line during one of my day trips. Complete waste of money, off to Walmart to return it.
+Harry Walton yes, because you and your pile have everything to do with the one I am core cry using. thanks for such an informative and well thought out comment...
I got a Shakespeare Tiger rod and reel combo for $20 at Walmart. The rod seems nice but the real tangles up to the point where I have to cut my line and redo it. Lost a $5 lure the other day
@@northcountryoutlaw9704Miraskulis. You buy lures? Wow that's crazy!! I cut the lures down from trees and branches while fishing and get mine for free!!!😂😂😂
Hope all instructional video are like this. Saves more time and less stressful

Thanks for this amazingly simple video. New to fishing this kind of reel, and now I'm ready to catch some dinner!
Thank you Sir, I'm beginner and this was very helpful
Awesome tips! Thank you for sharing. I just got into fishing and just learning the ropes, or strings :).

Thank you so much
Thank you! 😊
Thanks I am just getting started in fishing and I was practing
Might be silly but I have never been able to master the spinning reel.
Practice makes perfect but that rule doesn’t apply to me apparently 😂
When using heavier baits just stick the line on the tip of your finger where it's barely holding
Thx
👏👏
Time to impress my classmates

Your probably not casting it properly mines working fine

You are probably using a combo. Combos come with bad reels but a casting rod then a spinning reel
