Depending on where you bought it they'll often honor the new price if you contact customer service. Amazon or Best Buy will most likely refund you the difference.

Did they like cut off some quest 2s or something? Because I can’t load into my headset because both controllers don’t turn on and the hand tracking doesn’t work even though it has a clear view of my hands.
I could still play online and games when everybody was locked out same with my friends it worked with them

if you have a quest 1 and you want to play gorilla tag when it's not supported anymore you maybe could plug in the vr into a pc and play?

my lady got me a quest 2 about 2 weeks ago and I been having a blast since I have an overkill pc . having steam link is great and being able to race in vr with a wheel setup makes it so much fun, if you got a vr ready pc I recommend it.
for the Q3 sign in issue. It happened to insta and facebook. i got back into my q3 by opening meta quest app and then restarting my headset.
Vision Pro may be giving people headaches due to high persistence displays and lack of varifocals on a device that focuses primarily on screens within arms length (vergence accommodation conflict) ie your eyes slightly going cross eyed from looking at stuff close up but the lenses focal length is set at infinity.

I love when dad gives me 120hz on quest link even though my quest link NEVER WORKS and disconnects and has a seizure whenever I try to play something :)
I had the issue in chapter 3 (i own a quest 3) but it wasn’t as severe as he was saying it. It did show the screen, but the bar with my apps and whatnot still came up. My virtual environment got changed to the default and all my games had a shortcut in the “unknown sources” section. I restarted my headset, no fix. I just synced my headset to the app and all was good.
I mean yeah I was hopping on for a quick session of Gorilla Tag after the weekdays, but I didn’t know if it happened exactly on the day I finished the week or earlier.

I haven't been in VR recently due to my left controller having bad stick drift so for now I'm holding out till I can get a Quest 3
Too bad lately I can’t update or install any games as my q3 instantly stops as soon as it starts and there is another known bug where it says there is liquid or debris in the charging port. The other day I was trying to play demeo with friends and the headset was at 2% so I plugged it in only to find the charging port was disabled for this reason
The headset being unavailable is linked to meta’s server for both instagram and facebook being down too.

i got as notif on my quest 3 saying i am suspected of sharing my account with somebody under the age of 13 which I'm not and i am supposed to put in some stuff to prove my birthday and i did and it said they would get back to me in up to 2 days and it has been more than 2 days i am getting worried for my account because it says if i dont get access back to my account by june 9 my account will be deleted and i have a lot of games on my quest
Great to see this game return, but it begs the question, why are Sony sitting on games like this while they are letting PSVR2 die of software drought.
I love my Quest 3 as the library is much bigger, but I always chose PSVR version for any game that is on both platforms.
I love that the technology is being innovated but i hat that my quest 1 games stop working in the platform i now have a quest 2 but there is only so much time before i have to buy a quest 3 because the quest 2 doesn't have enough power
my quest got "locked" but opening the oculus app and selecting my quest 2 fixed it.

From what I understand as long as it says meta on your profile by checking your account settings then you’ll be fine. I just wish UA-camrs did a better job at showing what to do.

Got a lot of respect for the Goritlla Tag folks taking that approach. There's no reason to kill anything but saying "ok we don't want more users having problems" is OK and gradually letting the game break naturally for those who have it as updates do genuinely make it start to become unplayable is fair. Good vid/update BTW. Keeps me in the loop

Hyperdash ended service for quest one about half a year ago. It seems to be trending towards the end of quest 1 service overall In gaming

Quest Pro is refusing to update so I can"t connect it to the Meta App
I was thinking about getting a Quest 3 after getting rid of my Quest 2, but due to my current living conditions, and the fact the headsets will more then likely get bricked like most consoles when the servers go down, yea I'll take a rain check on that thanks, Vr was fun while it lasted but this aint it chief

We’re definitely on the other side of that mini-Dotcom bubble and bust from a year-ish ago. Those aren’t necessarily *always* even completely bad things, as it can tell the market what doesn’t work.
It’s my opinion (for all it’s not worth) that XR and adjacent services and technologies are going to be stronger for it in the long run. That’s even including the less than stellar state of the PSVR2.

Saying that gorilla tag is gonna have bigger updates. Is like saying a procrastinator is gonna study on a test. It's never gonna fucking happen. Lemming literally puts the signs deeper into the walls and doesn't just delete them and switch them out. They are so lazy at that studio. I'm amazed that the game servers haven't been shut down yet with how lazy they are.

I own a Quest 3, and my wife and kids all have Quest 2's. So, yeah, I love VR. But, frankly, I play the same games all the time. I'm not complaining. The games that I play are good. I'm almost exclusively PCVR. I'd like to see more AAA full length games on the VR. I like shooters, fantasy RPG and Sci-Fi. But the new feature length games that are out on consoles are not coming to VR.
