Absolutely great work. This is prehaps the clearest explanation of chunkloading i have ever seen or heard, will definetly refer to this from now on when i need to explain chunkloading to someone.
Discovered it randomly when I had the pearl ignore the 5x5 entity processing rule. Kept getting unloaded randomly and sometimes it survived auto saves. Realized that when its travelling fast enough its not getting unloaded completely.
no, this got nuked in 1.13 hasn't worked since, only works in 1.12 and earlier. Mojang intentionally removed it angering most of the tech community in 1.13, why do you think scicraft is STILL on 1.12
If i have my alt riding a mine cart going in a circle in the right chunks would i be able to load chunks properly for my 120 by 120 auto melon farm? Takes 16 seconds to go around the track.
I have a question!, dont even know if i am going to get asnwered, can i load a chunk just by making a clock in some place? and so have it perma loaded?

:)
4:00 I actually did not know this :o That is really cool!

Very detailed explanation, thanks!
Btw I actually wondered for a few seconds why you would use pink at 4:30 lol.
Good stuff man, very useful for my next playthrough
so where should i make villager hall so i don't get lag?
Thanks for doing this Xcom!
You do good content
Absolutely great content quality
What if my renderdistance is lower than 12
is this concept still valid in 1.15.2 - 1.16 update?

Just like a computer science course in college.
Ngl. This hurt my brain.

Would your alt even have to move?
You are amazing!
Hey, what about transfering items with water in sorting system, does it still load if i fly away 128 blocks?
You need to load a 5x5 of chunks around your system, otherwise the items won't move whilst your redstone will (nor despawn?)
@@hobrin4242 thanks for an answer
@@davuus80 was it too late?
@@hobrin4242 nah, just an honest thanks
Great work :)
I still don't understand how it works
When an entity is updated it first checks whether a bounding box of 32 in every horizontal direction is loaded, if not it will stop right there.
thanks :)
If a pearl is capable of loading chunks, then why is the corridor necessary? Is it because it loses momentum towards the target?

For that you need a type of reloader or permaloader. There are other videos on that.
Thanks!
0:30 that doesn't work
it works in 1.12 and earlier, this was removed in 1.13
thanks for easy explanation
This is outdated in old versions
Hola
too bad Mojang nuked this
