great work love the outcome. one suggestion i would make tho is to get yourself some coffee cup warmers, and set ur resin cups on them for about 5 minutes (dependant on ur cure times) before you pour them into the molds. it will release most of the bubbles from your mixing. Also round stur sticks work better then popsicle sticks (the square edges create airpockets when u move it around the cup.
Beautiful! I haven't been getting notifications for your videos, so have some catching up to do! Also, I really love hearing you talk. It really helps me out.❤️
Ohmigosh, these would have been gorgeous had you stopped at the 2nd layer! Now, they're over-the-top fabulous! 😊 The way the clouds are formed is *way* cool (& totally brilliant!), and makes it look (from the side) like you used 10-12 layers of resin, minimum! ❤ Wow! It is so much fun watching you create. 😊 This is a great tutorial! Thank you so much for making this for us, and I hope it didn't strain your voice overly much? Thank you for making the sacrifice in talking us through your process. ❤
Your work is fab I use alcohol spray to remove my bubbles and thus don’t have damage to molds. Is there any reason you do not do this. Used to use your method but ruined a few molds
Hi, there are a couple reasons I don't use alcohol for removing bubbles. 1. I use heat guns and torches, it would be unsafe to be spraying alcohol around the project. 2 Alcohol on the resin is so reactive it affects the look of the design. due to my use of the heat gun on multiple layers for each project isn't good for any of the molds so I get some good use out of them, but they don't last
"Pouring Your Heart Out" Julie says she remakes her molds with silicone, She puts a thin layer of silicone to give your molds a facelift per se. She says it will make your molds shiny again.
They are so beautiful 🤩 I’m just curious why you do the first few layers? Because you really can’t see the beauty of them when you cover with the clouds. You are a wonderful artist 👩🎨
Hi, you can see it. When you move the piece from side to side you can see the starry sunset peaking through at all the angles, it also allows light to glow through.

I adore this cloud technique of yours. And the added wispy swirls are icing on the cake

@@ResinAsYouWish oh ok. I guess the camera doesn’t pick that up. Thank you! God bless.
I am curious as to how you are able to use the heat gun and torch, and yet still pop your coasters out, without them being stuck to the mold?
They do get stuck sometimes, I keep the heat gun on medium heat, and hold it at least 3 inches above the resin
@@ResinAsYouWish Thank you for your response. It makes me feel better to know I’m not alone in the frustration.
Do you think you would get the same results with a quick-cure resin?
Yes I think it would
