The BIG THUD that you heard was my jaw hitting the floor, my Flabber is truly Gasted. Amazing work, I loved every minute of you video👍😷👍
Too cute. 👍🏼
😂🫶🏻🇨🇦
From my experience with resin. When I get those dimples from silicone , I use a piece of fine sanding paper over those dimples then add another layer of resin for a smooth coat .
🤯You just did a Dutch pour base with dragon scales in RESIN! I had no idea that could be done in resin. I thought the base coat was beautiful. Looked like the Aurora Borealis. Great thing about resin is that you can do another layer. You can't do that with an Acrylic pour. I'm stunned and amazed.
I have 3-in-one sitting on my art desk as we speak.
Thank you SO much for stating the dangers of alcohol and heat. You're entirely correct. Alcohol can be burning and you almost can't see it. Safety first!
I also can't believe the difference between scales with the 3-in-one and the alcohol (70% won't work, by the way, at least not well. Needs to be between 91 and 99.9%).
Another safety tip ... DO NOT torch the bubbles until both the alcohol and the 3-in-one have completely evaporated, or you'll set your work on fire and likely, won't see it.
Silicone oil does the same on acrylics paints. If you want to paint over it for decorate purposes, or coat it in gesso to do-over, you must remove the silicone or absolutely nothing will stick.
I use baby wipes all the time to clean resin, but I didn't know you could get alcohol wipes. Good to know!
BTW, this is a super long video and I normally don't have the patience for these, but this video is worth watching! I almost always bypass any video more than 15 minutes (only because I've worked with resin and acrylic paints and wood for decades now), but I watched this till the end! Every minute of it. That says something.
I still can't believe what I'm seeing. You are able (because it's resin) to do a multi-layer Dutch pour and get cells .... IN RESIN! These are my colors and watching you combine acrylic pouring techniques in resin actually made me want to cry. it's so beautiful and GENIUS!
Do you KNOW how GOOD you are??!
Did you know you were doing a Dutch pour and then dragon scales, or did you just go with whatever and found it works? I'm very curious to know.
I turn pens and I would love to be able to figure out how to get this on a pen blank. Almost impossible, honestly. Has to be done on a round surface for anywhere from a slimline (9 mm thick at the most ) to the larger pens that require a 3/8 inch tube.
You're brilliant, that's already been established. I've been trying to figure out how to do something like this on a tube to accommodate a 9mm finished pen. Any ideas how to make this appear on all sides in the round for a pen?
Thank you for putting up the 😽
It scared the crap out of me when I heard your cat because I have this weird surround sound on my tablet that makes it sound like it's not coming from whatever I'm watching. I can't tell you how many times I've had to mute because of it. Your cat sounded so close to mine but off enough that it made me think he was really sick and my other cat even went looking for him very concerned. You saved me having to get up to look for him I wish more people would be that considerate.
Thanks again and I loved the video!❤
My god the blue x-ray looking one is absolutely stunning. I want Tobe at this level some day
Oh, my, I heard Cheddar in there and I said, "Oh, that's a Bengal"! The loveliest cats in the whole wide world!!
Oh my gosh! I'm learning as much as I can before getting into working with rsin and you just opened a whole new door for what is possible. I'm used to seeing cells in Acrylic pours but I had no idea you could do it with resin!! I'm so glad youtube recommended you!!! These are amazing!
I absolutely love the sunset colors
Mind blown! I wish I could give you 2 thumbs up! Thank you for teaching me something new. I had no idea silicone oil can be used with resin! You have motivated me to step outside my comfort zone and try something different. Thanks again.
Glad it was helpful!
Please tell me I wasn't the only one screaming in my head for five minutes, "There's a speck of debris in that coaster. Why doesn't she see that speck of debris?!" Only to see 51:46 and be like "Oh, thank God!!" Thank you for all these informative videos. Everything I've seen you do is just stunning. Your color choices are amazing! 💖🤩
It wasn't just you!!
Wow,wow & the more wow. They are Fabulous .I enjoyed watching & learning . Thanks for sharing
I'd never have thought that you could do dragon scales with silicone in resin. Thanks for posting because now I know you can!
Definitely 3 of the best piggies made! I think I liked the coasters better, before you did the alcohol.
Wwhite dot or not...such a beautiful piece😊
That second mini coaster with the alcohol is just gorgeous! It is my favorite
I loved this technique. Thanks for teaching it.
This was extremely helpful, and such a great tutorial to follow. Thank you so much xx
Beautiful! ❤
You have given us a booklet of information in this video. It is not only very appreciated but also very good to know for many different uses and it’s very cool!
These are beautiful. But I must say the closed captions were hilarious. Instead of putting the dotter in the resin, the captions said to put your daughter in resin. Please do not put your daughter in resin no matter what the captions say.
Ohhh boy some days I really want to tho 😂 she is a moody 23 year old 😂😆😆
This video was super helpful. Thank you.
So beautiful!! I adore it!
Brilliant! As always, love your style of work.
This was such a brilliant tutorial. I have silicone oil, but gave up trying it as kept messing up. I had no idea you could use a dotting tool to apply it. I didn't know you could use alcohol like that either. Wow! Two items that I actually have on the shelf that can totally transform my resin! Thank you so much for taking the time to share all this knowledge. Your work is outstanding. Much appreciated x ❤
Absolutely gorgeous effects in the coasters and the tray. Love all the colors. Thank you for showing us the resin with silicone oil😍😍😍

Thank you thank you thank you!
I just began toying with Acrylic resin a month or so ago and never would have considered an hour long video, but after a break will finish the last 20 minutes.
I'm more impressed with the quality of your work than the silicone -vs- 91% alcohol. Really special. I did learn quite a bit though, I'll admit.
Funny - the text editor reads your dotter tool as a "daughter tool"
Love Cheddar's commentary! 😍
That was so cool!
Excellent video with clear explanations and demos. Gorgeous work >3 ty
thank you! nice work and inspiring
Thank you so much for sharing how you do your beautiful work
Outstanding Presentation! Thank you for making and sharing this.
So very amazing. I enjoyed watching this video very much!! I learned something new an fun!!!! Thanks!! ✌🏼💗😊❣️
I've always wondered the difference! I always just used the alcohol. Thanks for the video!
This is very helpful, thank you!! I'm really struggling to get the effect I have in mind. This will help.
Truly amazing ❤
Oh, and this was extremely beautiful, Innovative and interesting. Thank you for posting!
Parabens! Trabalho maravilhoso!!
So the little bit of oil left on the tray at 34:35 makes me think that you could actually apply the alcohol or oil first and then pour the color resin on top. I'm going to have to try that and see if I like the effect. I don't think those two little spots of oil actually detracted from piece at all.
The other idea I had is to use one of those combs with the bigger teeth to apply the cell agent so you don't have to put every individual dot on there and you can get more on before the resin stops moving. You could actually cut out some of the teeth to apply fewer dots at a time.
Marbling, hydro dipping, acrylic pours and cellular stuff done in resin I find to be beautiful and inspiring. Thanks for the demonstration!
Beautiful
Wow! That is beautiful! Love the colors and design. I'll have to try this.....also love watching you create! THANK YOU!💙😊
You
Que legal!! Trabalhos lindos como de costume 😄😄😄
I've fallen in love with you 🤩 ❤️ amazing tips XXX
Now that is really dope
Is there a reason to using 91% alcohol? Does 99% have a different effect vs 70%? New to the art of pouring resin and trying to learn as much as possible which UA-cam is helping tremendously. Thanks for your tutorial. Opens the mind to all kinds of new project for me.
Amazing, the all beautiful job, thanks for teaching us. ❤️💯🙌🙏👏👏👏👍
The tray is my favorite!
Great vid
Sorta hard to follow for beginners. Awesome work. I did subscribe.
Beautiful tankyou for sharing
Thanks for this video, gives me a lot of ideas. Greetings from Belgium.
Your work with resin is undoubtably the best UA-cam has to offer! 👍🏼❤️
What an amazing compliment - thanks!💓❤️
Absolutely gorgeous!! I'm wondering if it's more dramatic on the tray because of the white? The tray just makes my heart race! 😍
Awesome effects. 😊❤🙏🇦🇺🐨
Beautiful. I'd love to see replacing the black resin with another layer of clear. I think they would be fantastic hanging in a window also.
So so happy for firsttime I saw you, I´ve learn a lot with your teaching. Once put 5 drops inmy color esin, mixed it... it didn´t give me te efects. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Really love the tray and coasters. Funny how we prefer different effects. I love the silicone oil effect coaster, it’s almost like a spider web. ❤ Thank you for your inspiration. I’m looking forward to trying the effects. Have you ever sprayed silicone oil on a project?
Wooowwww extraordinary 👏👏👏👏
Beautiful❤️
FABULOUS!
So very very beautiful.
Amazing
What a fabulous tutorial! I just subbed to your channel. I always wondered what would happen if you added oil or alcohol to resin when wet...this was so helpful. Thanks you so much for this video🤩
