My face when I realized what was happening 😱 I’m so glad I came across this channel. Not only is it relaxing as heck but it’s also very captivating in the way you go in depth about the moves without it getting boring - I think it has to do with the tone and passion behind what you’re doing. Amazing! I never got into chess (no negative reasons just had different passions so never really got to it), but I find these exciting to learn through. I’m excited to watch more of your videos and seeing more breakdowns of your favourite chess matches🖤
Hey man, I love your enthusiasm when talking about chess. The way you talk about it isn't overwhelming even though you have such a clear understanding of games and moves past and present. It's helped my chess elo, and also my sleep. Thank you so much, I really appreciate the vids, and keep up the hard work bro:)
I really appreciate your videos! I'm not very good at chess, but i still watch every single one of them because of this great selection and description of these games. Love what you do, keep it up :))
Always delivering great content, thank you! I am loving the consistent upload, feels like opening a Christmas present everytime I see a new video of yours popping up on my feed.
Preparing for a school event for the monday that i agreed to partake in because of my friends, and as an asmr enjoyer i have to say your videos really explain the beauty of chess to me. Cheers!
I think it is only fair to make an update on the tournament, there were 5 games and i had won 2 of them, while losing the three remaining. It may look bad but i am really happy as i only started studying on friday and today i had secured two wins, just like my advanced friend who i was afraid to play against. The next round is in 20 days. Wish me luck.
Oooo! I love that there's a link between this game and the Arona vs. Anand Immortal game. I've listened to that one many times and it was the video that first introduced me to your channel💕
As always, great timing of the video with me wanting to go to sleep. Though... come to think of it, they usually keep me awake longer as they are so interesting. I usually have to replay the video afterwards to actually use it to fall asleep to
Enjoyable stuff, thanks a lot! I'd love to see a “documentary” video dedicated to Rubinstein - he seems to be one of relatively less known figures among great masters of the past.
another perfect video from my favorite channel! (what happened to the "Magnus Carlsen and the chesskiller" videos? I thought those 2 videos were amazing)
Excellent video as always about an exceptional game! I am curious, however, if there is any particular reason why you have stopped orienting the knights?
Of course rook to h3 is the coolest way, but rook on the second rank allows the same and I guess the only way to defend longer is with rook to g1 followed by a really cool smothered mate. Still rook h3 is probably the most stylish one. Great Video again
What happens at 27:11 if you play Rf2 as white? You would still win a bunch of material (first the h2 pawn, followed up by the queen, rook and bishop (all with tempe)), but it is not checkmate, right?
A truly random question - is this the DGT board with DGT Timeless pieces? Or a simple "Championship" style chess set? The setup is equally relaxing and pairs very well with your presentation style. Looks like a nice setup for study as well.
That’s E3 to E5, not E4 to E6. Either way it’s not a legal move. A pawn can only move two squares forward on its first move; that particular pawn was already moved to D3 from D2 so it can’t move two squares at once any more.
10. Qd2 Qe7! Schlechter says it's fine and that black has an attack, well, black has compensation after 11.cxd5 exd5 12.Nxd5? Nxd5 13.Qxd5 Rd8! but no attack, white can castle and is fine and a pawn up. There is an interesting knight sac. in that position (the engine prefers it), though, instead of Rd8, which gives white an advantage but leaves him with a very exposed king.
I think white should put the queen on C2 in the beginning that would seem to be the more logical move because that would put pressure on blacks King at the H7 pawn.
Great game. It seems like white lost the advantage right after the opening withthe premature bishop to d3. Imstead he should have taken on d5 with the pawn amd then again with the knight and queen to win material and place the bishop where he belongs on c4.
One note on his name, it should be pronounced more like “Akiva”, it’s a Hebrew name, not English. The sounds “b” and “v” are closely related (and in some languages even interchangeable) so I’m not surprised to see that those were the two different spellings of this name.
@@blakebridges8989 black never gets the first turn, so white has an advantage, and usually get to determine the outcome of the game since they have the first turn

@@ASMRChessfr this is the most relaxing asmr channel that I’ve ever seen. Also the most useful. 👍
I really appreciate these consistent uploads. Each video is its own gem!
This might be my favourite game of chess I've seen played, it contains an actual magic trick and a spectacular ending. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Great video as always! Gives me tingles and helps me sleep. So glad I found your channel when I did! :)
Thank you for the uploads friend, always puts a smile on my face.
Your timing is always impeccable, just about to go to sleep. Thanks for the content!
Holy moly, I got the chills at 12:20. Seeing the positioning had me “pogging”
Lol Hikaru vibes 😂
CAN'T UNSEE IT: Light reflection in pieces makes it look like the piece(s) is/are a spider staring at you (black's pawns, queen, king).
I appreciate your style of explanation of positions, I feel like I understand the positions so much more 🙏🏽❤
your passion for chess really shows. it almost feels like a story you are telling when you explain these games
Your passion and enthusiasm for chess always shines through the video :)

It's amazing how the relaxing and slow nature of the video makes it so much easier to understand. 👍

i like this video type more than the historical allegories, but both are true gifts to the community in any case

At 24:30, after black Rd2, would Qxg4 prevent a forced checkmate?
U always put me to 💤, something about ur rhetorical discourse 🥱🛌😪
Love it
amazing!! chess

Of course that is enough reason to resign as white, but still.
you just capture that rook - it only delays the mate for 1 move
Cool video

Why did white move Queen to D2 at 9:05? I don't see the value in that move
Red stone Purling London chess set for future video pleeeease!😊😴
I have a question. Why at 15:00 not E4 to E6 and vork the bisschop and the knight?

Agreed. Particularly considering that the game is more than 100 years old.

Does anyone know where to buy this chess set (it looks pretty nice) and do they ship internationally?
This set is famously hated for the knight's eye's (its called DGT timeless or something along those lines.

Why did white not take the free pawn on D5? Can someone explain me that? I got a little annoyed by that bishop moves

he had flash and function!
It would be awesome if you could add the 2d digital chess board in the corner of these vids 🙏
It's actually not checkmate in 1 in the end. You can make the game last a bit longer by playing bishop d5 and rook f2
True and I probably should have explained that.
This game is better than my whole career.......
why can‘t he cover the sniper bishop with Rf2 at the end there?
Good question! It is true that Rf2 delays mate for 1 move, but after Rxf2 there is nothing left to prevent the rook capturing on h2 with checkmate.
@@ASMRChess Do you mean bishop takes on f2?
Another option is Rh3 followed by Bxh3 and before that white could add an additional delay by playing Bd4.
I'm sure you already answer this in previous comments section but...
What's the reference of your chess game ? It looks amazing 🙏🏻
Absolutely amazing video tho ☺️
As a 300~ I need these videos
you can interpose rf3 at the end and its not M1 but anyways, great game 😎

2 minutes ago??? time to sleep B)
❤❤❤
In the russian alphabet the letter "w" looks exactly as the latin letter "b". Maybe Akiba/Akiwa was lost in translation this way.
Akiwa Rubinstein
Yaaay
Does black usually lose or something?
Yes its harder to win as black
@@SuperSimmy444 why is that?
@@blakebridges8989 black never gets the first turn, so white has an advantage, and usually get to determine the outcome of the game since they have the first turn
white wins 51% of the time and black wins 46% of the time and that is a 5% gap so there is a difference in tactic defending as black compared to white
