@@foreveryoung6066 yeah I done it without removing glass, you don’t need to undo any screws behind mirror, just un clip the clips using thin small screwdriver to pop cap off
Thanks for your clear video! Was really useful and I’ve just installed it with ease. We were with two persons though, was especially east while installing the cover back on the mirror.
I have also used this video to repair my side view mirror! The VW dealer wanted £85.49 for a glass replacement :O Thanks Advanced In-Car Technologies (y)
Did you fix your problem with the blind spot sensor error? I have to tackle this job soon. I imagine pulling the negative terminal off your battery, waiting a bit, and installing it back will fix the issue via all the electronics.
haven t smashed one in more than 5 years and they were not newly changed when I bought. recently someone obliterated my right mirror and the led/plastic is smashed in the middle but barely, so no, THEY DON T SMASH EASILY, on the contrary.
If you tilt the mirror down you can access the clips for the cap without pulling the mirror out for fear of breaking it.
What about the two torx screws behind the mirror people undo? You wouldn’t be able to access them??
@@Jordan_ZX6Rthat is different torx screws i guess. If you take cover out you can see another screws on indicator.

Sir how about puddle lights in that side mirror. Is it plug and play plus coding or need a wiring too?
I keep on getting an error ""Check left side turn signal" and "check right turn signal" can i use VCDS OR obdeleven to Code the Lights?
Mine only sweep when I unlock or lock is there an issue or does it need coding
Broke the damn mirror caps clips on both sides. This is my 3rd mk7 and i break it everytime I taken them off. They are too weak
Yes they can be fiddly and brittle 😓
My puddle lights don’t work after fitting mine. Any ideas on how to solve this?
Looks nice. And a good disassemble guide for side rearview mirror.
Glad you liked it!

Is it possible to install in a mirror housing where it didn't come with a built in indicator?
does it have the flashing light inside the mirror ?
I believe it does but it lights up only for a fraction of seconds because it's at the end of the sequence.
How could I get same this
Whats the link for these?
Are these still available?
Is this compatible with Arteon 2021?
yes if you go to your vw dealer you can ask them for them at the parts counter they are like 230 bucks for the set

Waar heb je een nieuwe spiegel gekocht met blind spot? mijn spiegel connect niet meer met de blind spot kabel.... storing
