  • The 2019 Mathews Traverse is one of the best bows I have shot if not the very best bow Ive shot. For the longer draw length / Tall guys, I think this is the bow we have waited for.

What draw length are you at on the Traverse? Your string angle looks perfect. I’m thinking about getting one, but concerned about string angle since I shoot at 31.5” DL. Currently on a 2011 Elite Pure #70 at 31.5”.

How do you think this holds up against the RX1 as far as draw cycle and aiming? The traverse I shot had almost a sticky draw cycle. Could’ve been the way the shop set it up

Mine has a pretty smooth draw cycle. You might want to try another.

I haven't shot the rx1, but I have shot the carbon defiant, so I can not honestly answer your question as far the the draw cycle between the two.
Draw weight an mods can make bows draw cycle varie. They could have different mods in the bow you shot.

Spencer Greene how does this bow feel as far as balance and string angle compared to the carbon defiant?

@@MrChulaFreak as far as balance goes the traverse is alot better balanced to me. The string angles are similar.

I just bought a treverse and its very smooth all the way through the draw even the demo bow was and just sits there after that shot and far more quite then the rx1 and far more cheaper hoyts are starting to be stupid money even the Helix ultra is 1200 for a aluminum bow while the Mathews are 1000 and I think Mathews is the overall better deal and I feel a better bow Hoyts are still nice but Mathews have been the better bow since the halon series but Hoyt did step there game up with the Helix
