Fuz I wouldn’t say he is the Greatest ever lived, but he is definitely up there. I like him as a grey haired gentleman, but not when he was younger. In particular, in the 90s up to the time he passed. There is something very special about him though. Chris Rock loved him!
Carlin is a legend. I wish I've found out about him when he was alive. I watch all his material and the man was ahead of his time in terms of philosophy, politics, religion, etc. The best part is, he used humor as a means of promoting truth to the populace.

These two groups of people are coming to a Crossroads: George Carlin is talking about the Perceptual God (the God that is recognized by both Church and State) The other people are talking about the Belief God (the God that is intrinsically discovered) - mainly through a sense of needing Hope. What the problem is - is that there are two meanings of the word God; the one you can through senses come to grasp and the one that you have to find for yourself mentally and spiritually. All the men of Ai were called to pursue them, and they pursued Joshua and were lured away from the city. Not a man remained in Ai or Bethel who did not go after Israel. Twelve thousand men and women fell that day-all the people of Ai. For Joshua did not draw back the hand that held out his javelin until he had destroyed all who lived in Ai. But Israel did carry off for themselves the livestock and plunder of this city, as the Lord had instructed Joshua.
So Joshua burned Ai and made it a permanent heap of ruins, a desolate place to this day."

It bugs me when people thank God for everything. Winning sports games, finding a potential cure for Coronavirus, etc. Why would God care who wins sports games? Do people really believe that God has favorite sports teams? Why would God want one team to lose? Doesn’t sound like something God would do. He’s supposed to love everyone but how can he love everyone if he let’s one team win and one team lose? Do people honestly think God is up there watching Monday Night Football on his flatscreen TV and deciding which teams he'll allow to win that week? I’m not an atheist but I do question the point of religion much more after watching George Carlin. I think the world would be a much happier place without religion. There would be no wars over religion, everybody could focus on themselves and doing good things for people and not focus on a spooky incompetent father figure who doesn’t give a shit.

These two groups of people are coming to a Crossroads:
George Carlin is talking about the Perceptual God (the God that is recognized by both Church and State)
The other people are talking about the Belief God (the God that is intrinsically discovered) - mainly through a sense of needing Hope.
What the problem is - is that there are two meanings of the word God; the one you can through senses come to grasp and the one that you have to find for yourself mentally and spiritually.
As for the UFO's - people are just more accustomed to the God Argument to treat it with more preference than the UFO's. We truthfully do not have substantial proof for either.
We have scripture like Quran which tells us of gods existence along with prophets that were sent down to all n0ations to believe in God. Where is such scriptures and messengers attributed to aliens who ask people to worship them ?
