I had the scott but had to get a refund because they messed about with a warranty claim I loved it tho.. got a trek rail 9 2021 with the 2022 speck on at right price.. this scott could take the honours this year tho
This is a Class 1 eMTB, it won't make any speed without pedaling because there is not throttle. We only test pedal-assist electric mountain bikes, not Class 2 or Class 3 ones, which are more like motorized cycles that have throttles to ways to ride without pedaling. Hope that helps.

My question is, does the Scott Ransom eRide came with the twinlock as well? which Im nit a fan of and doesnt think eBikes really need them. Thanx for the Honest review.

Be prepared to having to get your fork damper replaced, i know 3 other people with the same bike, and they all had to get the forks fixed including me.
It’s crazy how expensive these bikes are, and continue to increase in price. You can get a Sur Ron for a considerable amount cheaper than this, not sure why you’d opt for one of these at this point
Two major reasons are: people who want these, are mountain bikers who enjoy pedaling, second reason is SurRon are not legal on mountain bike trails and are likely going to be facing major major pushbacks in terms of law/licensing due to reckless, speeding riders and many accidents that are taking place on and off road with unskilled riders riding places they shouldn’t be at high speeds.
@@TheLoamWolf for the exercise reason, yes of course. For the legality, good luck banning the Surron.
