How To Make the Perfect Tequila Sunrise

Today I look at How to Make The Perfect Tequila Sunrise.
Although the Tequila sunrise has been around since the 30's, the one we see today was created in the 70's in California. Its simple and easy to make, tastes great.
This beautiful drink looks just like a gorgeous sunrise. I had so many problems making this cocktail. Can you Spot them?
TEQUILA SUNRISE
INGREDIENTS
2 oz/60 ml Tequila
4 oz/120 ml Orange Juice
.5 oz/15 ml Grenadine
Orange slice
1 Maraschino Cherry
METHOD
1. Add ice to a Collins glass.
2. Add all ingredients in order listed above.
3. Garnish with an Orange slice and a Maraschino Cherry.

Sitting here feeding my mom a slice of lemon pound cake (she's in the 5th & final stage of Alzheimers) sipping on a double old fashioned & have a flash of "how about a Tequila Sunrise pound cake". So I look up Tequila Sunrise drinks & find this episode. I laughed so hard I blew Old Fashioned out my nose. Do you know how much Burbon burns doing this??? At least I have an idea of the flavor profiles I need to consider I need to consider in attempting to do a Tequila Sunrise pound cake. Thanks for the laugh. I really needed it.
