- Today on Booze On The Rocks I show you How To Make The Perfect Blue Lagoon. This three ingredient cocktail is so easy to make. And no its not named after the movie The Blue Lagoon from 1980.
Even though this easy drinking cocktail makes you want to sit by the swimming pool, or make you feel like your in the Caribbean, at least if you close your eyes. This is probably one of the easiest cocktails to drink ever.

BLUE LAGOON
INGREDIENTS
1.5 oz/45 ml Vodka
4 oz/120 ml Lemonade ***
1.5 oz/45 ml Blue Curacao
METHOD
1. Add vodka and lemonade to shaker.
2. Shake with ice 10-15 seconds.
3. Pour into hurricane glass on fresh ice.
4. Add Blue Curacao to drink.
5. Garnish with an Lemon wheel and Maraschino cherry.
**** Lemonade
INGREDIENTS
4 cups/32 oz / 960 ml Water
1 cup/8 oz//240 ml Fresh Lemon Juice
.5 cup/4oz/120 ml Water
.5 cup/113 g Sugar
METHOD
1. Add Sugar and Water to sauce pan.
2. Warm until sugar is dissolved into water
3. Allow to cool before use.
4. Add Fresh Lemon Juice.

I don't see why not. You could peel them first, ot just add the sugar and seal it up and see how it turns out.

Blue Lagos was very popular in the 90s, and I think it is coming back slowly. Shame so many bars making it with sprite and not being the to put some effort. Great video, my man.
Thank you, your right it does take some effort, but it is so worth it. And if you make the lemonade you can do it in a big batch and have it for different cocktails as well.

I used Giffard Blue Curaçao and it turned out a bit too sweet and overly blue but it is still wonderful drink. Thanks for the idea!

I did it for the effect. But you can shake everything together if you want. Its totally up to you.
