IMPORTANT: TW fixed the influence exploit in a e1.7.0 hotfix. So this exact route is no longer possible. You'd have to get the money through smithing and the siege campaigns would be slower because you have to get the influence somehow. However, I think that by changing the route a bit these are not as large issues as it might seem. So in total losing the influence exploit makes this run just 30mins slower, around 6hrs.

Like the thing about tribute payments is that it fails on basically all fronts when it comes to player interaction - it fails to reward the player properly for leading a very successful war, it fails as an anti-world conquest mechanic and is instead just incredibly annoying and it fails from a fairness standard where the player just rightfully feels screwed over by the game - just like the idiotic behaviour of your own nobles constantly trying to declare peace in winning wars and declaring war against enemies that have literally nothing to give you anymore since the only thing they own is troops and you won't be able to get tribute payments anyways, much less sue for peace without paying influence to overrule your own council. I get that there should be mechanics in place to balance the AIs out against each other to a certain extent and to avoid the player from steamrolling too quickly/before they start their own kingdom but what's the point of just annoying the player to no end once they actually start going for the final conquering run of their campaign? It doesn't make it more difficult, just very time consuming and frustrating because you're no longer fighting against your enemies but against the game mechanics themselves and that's never fun.
It would be slower for sure, but hard to say how much. The previous record didn't use this and it was 6h38min, and also that run had a 20min mistake. So this run didn't benefit more than 40mins from the exploit, I guess? The thing is tho, that if I didn't have the exploit I'd use a different route altogether. I think the new optimal route after influence glitch is patched is to genocide 3-4 kingdoms, get a lot of money from holding all those fiefs and start recruiting after that.
@@Slayer9323 In theory 300 trade is not required in genocide route. It just makes the run way easier. But optimally you'd want to skip it, so it doesn't really save time. Trying to recruit lords without 300 trade sounds too expensive tho.
@@Slayer9323 I don't get what you are replying to. What's the point? I'm not interest in doing glitchless runs. Just defining what is or isn't a glitch is too annoying. You could easily argue that the caravan trade thing is not a glitch. I buy cheap items and sell them for profit gaining trade xp.
Wow that was something. One thing though - workshops are better for passive renown. They are much harder to loose than caravans (few of which you lost on the way). You just need to put them in safe spots like deep Aserai territory or Ostican/Rovalt. By the time you will get at war with factions owning towns with your workshops you will have all the renown you need
Caravans are better for this run, since the companion limit is higher than the workshop limit. I want clan tier 4 before 90mins so I need as much passive renown as I can get.
Cuz you are playing the way you want. Take your time. Bannerlord isnt a game to be rushed imo and doesnt have a win condition to show YOU WIN screen. Playing for the sake of using every broken mechanic in order to win will just take the fun out of it.
Hi, when i try to recruit nobles they keep saying ' i'm happy with my current liege' . Is there something wrong? high relation and high charm... been asking alot of nobles!
The biggest factor is how much cash you have. That's why I get 6mil at the very beginning. The next biggest thing is getting more fiefs to your kingdom.
@@williamgredin1081 Yep. Charm & relations don't really affect whether or not you get "happy with current liege". ua-cam.com/video/yyz7Xx2iGRY/v-deo.html
Usually you need to ask a Nobel that is from either a weak kingdom with poor wealth, or just ask someone with no Fliefs in their current kingdom, and you would directly go to the persuade part. I usually search using the CLans screen and filter based on how many Fliefs they have, and I Try to persuade those with 0. Hope that helps
Can you elaborate the horse trade more detail pls, i mean i get the big picture, maybe you can make world conquest but not in speed run so you can click slower and explain slower.. im gonna eat those videos too.. i mean.. maybe after the latest patch theres no more exploit but i enjoy watching a good player exploit or not.. beating the game as hard as they can.. pls.. make it come true
I would be nice, but who knows. Maybe they don't even exist? I'm not actively looking for more exploits right now tho. I might do some more glitch hunting when they do the full release.
First: everyone should play likes he want. But i see absolute no sense in bugusing/exploits to cheat a game. Bannerlord can give hundrets of hours fun with just one walktrough.
Well you have 2 types of people imo. 1.Plays the game as normal as they can to basicly craete a story and legacy for their characters 2.Plays the game to test the limits of the mechanics Anyone can beat the game but using the 2nd route is probably the most boring way to play unless its for test purposes.
