I'm going to have to put this one right over to my text messaging archive so I can go right to it. Really want to make one of these turkey calls. Great video.
I quite enjoy your videos and really enjoy these lessons you provide, I will definitely try the turkey call. I have a quick question, I see that some scenes you have your rifle and others you do not and I have to wonder, do you store her at your camp or lock it up somewhere? I do not know a lot about historical societies, although they are interesting and drawing my attention.
In your video I just wondered what type of shot do you use for Turkey. Turkey call is something neat. again I am very sorry for your lost I hope things get better keep your head up
Hey Mike. When were you at the Jacobsburg rondy? I 've camped at both the summer(when they had it) and the fall several times. It's a great little rondy. Do you live localy? Been making wing bone calls for years, sweet.Enjoy your vids, keep em commin.NY GRIZ
I assume you are using the bones after cooking the turkey? As much as I don't want to sound a bit on the slow side but I want to make sure as this sounds like a great project I have never done before.
great stuff snowwalker wing bones are probably the best iv used next to my voice I like two and three the three for long distance great vid haven't seen any here either luck to you tom
Hey Bro, Great Video once again. Got a couple question for ya. First on that Wingbone turkey call, could you use say an elk backstrap sinew on it to piece the 2 piece and 3 piece together? Would hold together good enough? Then one more. Where did you find a left handed flintlock.........I'm a natural Southpaw myself and would love to get an idea of where to go to put my mits on one.
Galen Long It will work with no problem just remember you still need to seal the joints regardless. Larry Zornes built DORA he is in Ohio at the Mold &Gun shop.
