- This video appears in the re-release of the mod The Stanley Parable. The original video can be found by taking the divergent path that leads to a crane lift, following the narrator, then unplugging the phone. This was my favorite moment in the game.

Choice. It's the best part of being a real person, but if used incorrectly can also be the most dangerous.
For example: In this scenario, a hypothetical real person named Steven has a choice.
He could spend years helping improve the quality of life for citizens of impoverished third-world nations, or he could systematically set fire to every orphan living in a thirty kilometer radius of his house.

I remember having a conversation with my grandmother when I was like five years old, and I said "but that doesn't make logical sense" (I was confused, and I was using an expression I had heard someone else say) and her response was "logic is the devil's toolbox". I checked, and they did. The cigarette is replaced with a flower, and the shot of the kid being set on fire is replaced with the guy holding a gas tank, about to set him on fire. The narration is the same, but the pictures have been changed so the gag is much less funny.
