Unger rubout is designed for removing hard water stains and other ingrained dirt. Not for general use like a detergent. I have a few videos on how to master the moerman squeegees. Check them out 😉
I have a stingray mate, I prefer it for conservatory insides, no water dripping everywhere and drying out in 3 seconds. I find it best to go over twice, once with the deep clean microfiber pad which is great for the bug mess then buff it up after with the regular one. Loads faster too. If the pvc is dirty I use the 'damp car wash mitt on a pole' to clean the frames. Don't look on UA-cam tho, same with the moerman tools, loads of window cleaners out there "oh iTs cRAp it dOsnT wORk" 100% would recommend. If you drive to Kent mate I'll let you have a go on mine 🤣
Adam, How many sting ray pad would you go through on the inside of the observatory? I use ipc and would probably use 20 pads so as to prevent smearing. I really don’t like using pads but it’s a nice option. Any tips?
I like the comment “when someone brings out a better squeegee I’ll use that” makes me think is there something new coming if so my money is on the window cleaning warehouse.
hi man!! very helpful your videos, i´d like to know what thing did you use at minute 4:36? does that a bronze pad? if so , does that bronze pad scratch the glass? and last question, bronze pad work for remove acid rain or tartar?
Bronze wool can be used on regular glass that hasn't got a tint, film or a special coating. To remove hard water / mineral deposits you'll need something like winsol crystal clear 550 (very powerful). Try unger rub out first in conjuction with an abrasive pad like walnut / bronze wool etc as that's not quite so harsh as winsol.
I find wfp better for first cleans with a very weak bleach solution (1/2) a percent strength (1cm in the bottom of a spray bottle) to spray windows first to kill the green stuff. Spray the glass and frames then wfp it all. Next clean either method is good but you are cleaning spotless frames and glass.
I give them a ball park price based on how many windows there are and then time myself (On bigger jobs) That way I can make sure the price is right and I've not over charged or under. You need to have in mind what you charge per hour 👍🏻
