Hi Ashley.. my method after solutions applied is to connecting into mains water and blasting away with high pressure and flow through your water feed pole .. then finishing connecting in with the pure water.. 👍😀
Thanks! That’s great. The tap water is so hard in my area that I normally prefer to stick with my pure water. Good idea though. I will definitely keep it in mind for the mega dirty jobs.😃👍🏼
I done my 1st solo job today . I did ok and your videos helped . CAN I ADD SOLUTION TO A GARDINER 22L BACK PACK , will it naff the pump up . I saw a £25 cheap version of your sprayer and I will get it after watching this 👍👍👍
Yeah, using a cleaning solution in a Gardiner backpack is fine. You will just have to wash it out afterwards if you want to use pure water in it again. I know lots of guys get more than one and keep one just for chemicals and one for just pure water.😃👍🏼
Hi Ashley Great video..would you not just spray brush head with a cleaning solution using a little hand held 500ml sprayer..i do thus on first cleans works a treat.
What kind of water did you use? Were you using tap water or distilled water? I'm thinking it may have been distilled water so no minerals would leave anything behind? Learning from you on this one. 😉 Looks great though!
Hi Ashley. Great Video. Could you do a video of how to look after your brush heads. After a first clean I have found out that the brush has ingrained dirt. What do you do in between houses to make sore the brush doesn’t have anything in that could damage the glass.
Hi Can I do this with my water fed trolley system? By just using one water container to put the UPVC cleaner solution in, instead of a backpack Or would the UPVC cleaner solution contaminant the system??
Awesome work. I am planning on getting one of those constant flows for my company here in the states. I just love how small it is. Unfortunately their proprietary chemicals won't clear customs. Any recommendations on what to use in it for facia cleaning and or washing roofs using it?
Great, thanks! I usually use a upvc cleaner or traffic film remover (TFR) from a supplier here in the UK. I’m not sure where to get it from in the U.S. but I’m sure WCR must do something?😃👍🏼
Hi Ashley, How much water would you tend to use on a 3 Bedroom house. 4 Windows front, 4 Windows back using a gardiner backpack setup? Also what size pole would you suggest for standard 3 bedroom houses? Thanks 🙏
You should be able to do it with one full backpack (20l) but it depends how quick you are, how dirty the windows are, and maybe what type of jets you are using. An 18ft pole will be big enough but I usually work with a 22ft so I can reach over obstacles easily.👍🏼
@@aemackintosh Thank You Ashley 😊 I’m just about to purchase the backpack and some kit to get started after watching your videos. What about fascias/apex on some houses? Would it be best to go with a 25/27ft pole? Looking at the SLX25/27 just on a tight budget. Thank you 🙏

@@aemackintosh ok. I unterstand. I´ve seen, that you are using this adapter on the top of the pole. Did you order this separately? If yes, why did you do this and why is it better than the regular angle.

@@aemackintosh hi there I'm new to this only been using wfp a couple months how would I use a soap solution if I'm using my water from a tank in my van? Also I thought the point in using wfp was that you don't need soap. Any help would be good.
Ash, clothing question. Where do you get your work pants? I’ve noticed them in n most videos and I’m tired of having my jeans rip in the knees. I’m in the US so hoping they ship here if available. Thanks.
EA The brand is Rigour, but they don’t make them any more.😬 I love them but they are getting a bit thread bare in places. I bought some recently at my local market, before lockdown.😃👍🏼
Hi mate thanks for the previous replies by the way. So I have been getting a lot of windows and fascias with paint, and cement stains, what do you normally do with this? and how do you quote them? Do you charge more?
Yeah, it’s up to you, either say to the customer that this is the price but I won’t be able to remove that paint. Or add a bit on to the price and try to remove it. Paint on glass will likely need scraping, which will have to be done with great care so that you don’t scratch the glass. Paint on fascias!? You could try some TFR and you can get some scrubby pads to try and remove it, DAComponents do a nice set. I hope that helps.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh haha thanks! Yeah the other day I had a job where there was cement on a fascia and it took me hours to get it looking nice, not a perfect result though.
