Same thing happened to my motor overheated. I just put a new head gaskus. Sent out the head to get re. Machine and put a shitload of copper spray on the gasket and bolt back up. Flush the motor And the car is running great now

I have strange noise coming from my 2005 Altima..I thought this was an easy job...I see its not...need to find out my issue from a life long mechanic friend before I buy any more replacement parts...this car has really pissed me off over last few months..correct Identification of issues can sometimes be a pain in the arse...

Does the motor need to be removed in under to perform this replacement?

"...three-four or 19mm." Red Flag! It's terrible practise to substitute an ill-fitting imperial socket for the correct metric. THEY ARE NOT EQUIVALENT!
